  • I have windows vista It's been 2 or 3 years now & NEVER got a bsod

  • same happened with me put it in hibernate and when i started it up again bsod came up

  • Go onto Windows in safe mode, then scan your computer. If you don't have virus removal program you can download a free trial from the Internet.

  • @SuperAce98 Actually at the time just inserted a SD card in the reader and leave it in all of the time. It was a driver issue. Eventually an update fixed it.

  • Is that a dv6 or dv7? I'm writing this comment on an HP dv7 17" How do you like windows 7 on it?

  • hay i'm getting the same thing but i have a xp when it goes into sleep mod the blue screen pops up every time is it a hardware pro or is it a virus that my anti virus isent picking up

  • this is not blue screen of death, its called blue screen, the blue screen of death BSoD is a bunch of nonsense letters and numbers related to hardware issues mostly,witch you cannot recover from that easily
