@RacerXDrag I used to be fascinated with that too. I read it was a mixture of lime green gelatin powder and flour; eventually, oatmeal was added to the recipe, as was baby shampoo so that it would wash out of the actors' hair more easily.

Man oh man...the memories with this show...Agreed the best of nick was in the 80's(and early 90's). I recently turned on teen nick and degrassi was on and they were talking about condoms and teens were sharing rooms together. Times have changed...I remember watching this show with my older sister and loving it. I think nickelodeon has lost some insight on kids today, which is very sad. Now its about sex and being boy crazy..whatever happened to just being a kid???

I must've been 8 or 9 y/o when I watched this...my parents hated it lol. OMG how I miss the old Nick. The shows now a days SUCK %^& for real. These crazy so-called teenagers who are really in their 20s play these stupid, idiotic tweens on TV who talk about dating, cute boys, kissing I mean OMG!! And kids actually watch this! Every time BTR comes on, I tell my six year old to change it...the show is STUPID. I soooo miss the 80s and 90s when shows actually taught you something!!!!

It's interesting to see the difference between kids' TV in the '80s and kids' TV today. Everything's so watered-down today. If anyone tried to execute kids on a show that aired in this day and age, there'd be SUCH an uproar. Back then, it was fun!

I found this opening unsettling as a kid. I think it was the guy's face and the kids in the meat grinder, not to mention the sirens. Over it now, but still...can't forget
