OMG thank you thank you thank you! I have had CFS for 4 years and couldn't figure out why I wasn't improving despite my drastic lifestyle change ie. Avoiding stress getting heaps of rest and eating really well. Now I know! And I finally have direction :)
..Below did you mean elevated cortisol to dhea ratio in stage 1? As in stage one the cortisol is higher than dhea, right? Do gut problems cause AF or does AF cause gut problems or can it happen either way?
I should have clarified that an elevated dhea to cortisol ratio will inhibit, but excess dhea can do that as well. You will typically see the first within Stage 1 AF and the cusp of Stage 2 and the later in people who are just supplementing themselves by taking dhea pills from the health food store.
(cont'from below)But I would so love to be the other 30 or 40% better. Like totally cured, because having fatigue makes ALL of life such a chore. And there is the fact that even though you're set in a normal life environment, you never can realize what would be even close to your normal potential. Since I live in southern CA I might check out East West but I think I have already basically tried all things via a nutritionist md.
Nice video. I take a massive amount of Armour thyroid using Barnes Basal Metabolism Test to take the right dose. Keeping my heart rate and body tempurature up manages my ME. I also take a MAJOR load of supplements to kinda offset so much that the virus does to me. I thank God that I'm doing so well.
extremely good video. a lot of fresh information about gland problems and fatigue syndrome. i my self found out that celtic sea salt and good expensive water makes me overcome any fatigue. but i also eat only organic food, according to my metabolic type and avoid like the plaque the four white devils
commitment, reevaluating when needed and lots of tough tough work. It also tends to totally throw people into an existential crisis when they finally improve after being so ill for so many years. A very intense experience, the whole thing. But I am young, only 20, and think I now have the information needed to build myself and think my experience of life will eventually be richer for it. Certaintly taught me more about life than school ever did! Anyway, keep up the good work. Take care
bit by bit improving and reducing the dysfunctions in my body. Still have Orthostaic issues but my baseline BP is now 125/70 (my doctor is blown away by my progress there!) I'll email you sometime soon giving you some thoughts on what things have been the most helpful for me and my observations of others. This is a very complex illness (and potentially severe) with little hope for improvement if people don't do detective work, and even then it takes a long time and a huge amount of ongoing
Hi Josh, thanks for doing a video on this. I have had ME/CFS since April 2004 when I had severe mononucleosis (a common trigger in the young). Absolutely been through the wringer with it, very severelly ill for a long time. The ANS/Dysautonomia component can't be underestimated. My BP was 55/40 when upright- it was all I could do just to remain conscious! I have been working at it slowly slowly and through many different approaches (lifestyle and some medical intervention), am now finally
i live in new jersey where raw milk is illegal. i have been looking into farms close by in new york for raw milk, but recently "raw cheese" has showed up at whole foods, the ingredients where thermalized milk. i read what i could on thermalized milk and it is heated but not to the same temperatures as pasteurized milk in order to not denature enzymes. I feel a bit cheated, Raw should be well...RAW, does anyone have information on thermalized milk is it even worth buying?
That would do the trick. I would work on getting it out by a Holistic Dentist, then do some labs (adrenal, gut, heavy metal and thyroid) to see how it affected you.
Let me guess --- you're from the North Shore of Boston.

8:22 Excess DHEA? Josh, does that ever occur naturally? Or would that only be the result of hormone medications?

Try not to base a diagnosis based on symptoms...it is all about the person with them, not the symptoms that has the person. That is why we assess!!

KINGABYSS111 2 years ago
