You guys seem to have played against some easy mode people. Such teamplay is impossible if there's a decent squad playing against you. Even 1 guy can stop the whole team there.

@dec20056 It certainly has received more attention from its developers. I actually prefer the teamwork in PR, as that game has attracted more of the team players. Whereas INS gets many players from CSS or DODS or TF2.

Not enough communication generally (in public games) used to get the most out of this game.

kinda weird that weapons here only leave smoke after they shoot.. i know that its in real too but it makes a huge diffrence to gameplay when u dont have a muzzle flash. it just doesnt give u a feeling of power.

yes but this is a source mod. there for, there running it with the source engine. since im sure the people who made this are very skilled at what they do I dont think they could make there own game engine.

@cmdrchris971 i think they should do all that and add tanks and helicopters that u can be in. Then i'd buy it for sure, as the team communication in insurgency is really good. In Battlefield u can only talk to your squad...not your whole team....which sux. I also don't like the way you have to level up aswell in BF and COD.

this game is very fun and realistic. Although teamwork isnt very popular (i usually have to capture an objective alone while teammates try to kill everything in sight), occasionally i find a nice server where people provide their comrades with smoke screens, covering fire, and the position of an enemy. Very fun game, and its nothing cod4, which is a run and gun shoot em' up. This game is pretty good, more realisitc than css (altho maybe not as fun IYO). Its even better for the fact that its free

HL2:DM doesnt let you play HL2 mods. oyu need to have payed for a game that lets you download the source SDK.

No you can't play the game. you have to have payed for a full game that uses the source engine (team fortress 2, CS:S, portal, half life 2, and so on). If you go on the insurgency page on steam theres a link in the orange text that tells u which games let you play HL2 mods.
