fuck your socom experience if you never played socom 1 or 2 before than you dont know any gaming experience. socom 1 and 2 movement has dominated any other shooting game. it ACTUALLY took skill to kill someone unlike modern warfare. @WSvdBerg You really had to be there to understand how amazing this game was. If you didn't have a mic, you were considered useless. This game took actual skill and 100% teamwork to win a game unlike CoD or Battlefield 3 you don't respawn after every death. You die once in a round and that made you afraid to die and thats why killing someone felt more satisfying. Socom 2 in its prime years outshines any other shooting game in any aspect whatsoever, its a shame how it died.

I want Socom 2 just like everyone. BUT NOT WITH MAG engine. S4 uses MAG engine and we dont need another one of those. Just use the same Socom 2 engine. That way S2 HD will keep its original feel.

NO to the MAG engine. That's what SOCOM 4 already uses...and it's fucked up. (With Seth claiming they aren't even sure if some things can be "fixed")

Just audit the existing SOCOM 2 code, fix the problems, and release it on PSN with FREE DLC of maps and weapons from the newer games.

Having never played combined assault, I can't comment on that. (Although looking at the videos it appears to be the same engine, just updated, but I don't like the looks of some of it?)

Why not make Socom CA HD with all Socom 1,2,3 maps? You Socom II fans are hared headed. Socm II maps were great but Combined assault smashes Socom II in gameplay and graphics. The speed of the game is TOO slow in Socom II.
