    5. Carlo Bergonzi

    6. Bastianini

    7. A non-italian with bad taste... Some think it's Koslovsky and I agree.

  • Oh dear, only 3 tenors?

    2. Sounds like D. Barioni on a good day - when he was on he was amazing

    5. Carlo Bergonzi - when he wasn't going flat he was one of the finest vocal artists ever - I love this tenor

    7. Ivan Kozlovsky - great technician who knew how to use falsetto coordination in the voice - I'm not a fan of his sound though

Sorry, unless I'm a huge fan of the baritone/soprano/mezzo etc., I can't really identify their voices

  • 1. Fischer-Dieskau

  • 01 0:34 Rudolf Schock

    02 1:26 Daniele Barioni

    03 1:56 Renato Capecchi

    04 2:34 Alessandro Moreschi I

    05 3:15 Carlo Bergonzi

    06 3:56 Giuseppe Campora

    07 4:36 Ivan Kozlovsky

    08 5:16 Alessandro Moreschi II

    09 5:51 Lawrence Tibbett

10 6:27 Amy Shuard (or Alessandro Moreschi III)

  • 1. C'mon, Tenors only dude!

    2. Barioni.

    3. Tenors Buddy!

    4. ...Tenors any1?

    5. Easy! Bergonzi

    6. Not interested

    7. Kozlovsky! Told U...Tenors & I'd nail 'em:)

    8. "Boring"

    9. This is an exception: The greatest Baritone of all time: "Tibbett!!!"

    10. No!!!

  • 1 - I am absolutely certain that I have heard this voice before - I'll come back to this

    4 - Elisabeth Grümmer?

    5 - Carlo Bergonzi

6 - I love this voice, but: no idea

8 - I don't think it's Lotte Lehmann, but have no other idea

    10 . not Nilsson

  • 02: Del Monaco.

    03: Sheril Milnes?

04: Barbra Hendrix after eating spagetti?

    05: Gigli on holyday.

    06: Tagliavini.

    07: regrettably, I don't know.

That's all for now. Goto run...

  • Oops. My last post did not get posted...

Last effort as this is the deepest I can dig on my memory:

    03: Ghiaurov?

    04: Caballé.

    05. Bergonzi.

    08. Hesitant between Hellen Traubel and Lotte Lehmann.

    09. Tibbett.

    10. Sutherland.

  • O dear!

    3) is maybe George London; 4) sounds like Tiana Lemnitz. Is 7) Ferruccio Tagliavini? 9) maybe Mattia Battistini and 10) Rosa Ponselle.

  • Menagia ! These singers are so difficult to identify that I'm ready to give up.This is a real challenge. The only singer I feel fairly certain about is #7 -its Lauri Volpi with his great squillo.Whomever #4 is,I absolutely love that voice-what a beautiful timbre and tone. Mille grazie Imogen for this but this one is way too tough for me.

  • 10 is rather Sutherland than Nilsson...

  • Uhmmm... This is yummy, but certainly hard to digest. But I am too tempted. My guesses: 01 Thomas Quasthoff maybe. Cool stuff. 02 no idea. Lovely voice. 03 Tito Gobbi 04 Elly Ameling! I love her! 05 Nice! Pavarotti? 06 Gobbi again? I'm puzzled. 07 Giacomo Lauri Volpi 08 Maria Reining? Nice! 09 No idea. Sounds weird. 10 Sounds like Nilsson... Now I have a belly ache. I knew it... but... I feel like Spaghetti too. Damn.
