@shorn70 Compared to The Dugites early work and look, this clearly indicates the influence of the slick New Romantic style and sound typified ABC. Drummer looked better with the beard!
This was one of the songs that really showed the power of the fairlights. I was a salesman for electronic sales and rentals in the mid 80s and had occasion to go to fairlights original building near the middle of Sydney. I also these guys live at Shellharbor the year they toured with Mondo Rock, these guys were excellent, Mondo Rock were VERY dissapointing.
its probably just cos i was 16 when this came out bu tI loved what it said and showed, was classy and signalled what the 80s promised - class and style, b4 the mobile phone and PC boom.
Would you by any chance have their '81 hit "Waiting"? That's one of my favourite songs & it's been a long 25 years since I've last seen that very clever video too. 8-)
i saw the dugites playing in a bar in Perth in 1977 when my ship docked overnight....
and havent heard that name again until just now !

has anyone got the long version of Cut the Talking? Much better than this one.
Also, the Juno and Me clip was up for a while, then taken down. I'd kill for a copy of that.
