I like Nirvana, not because they're complex (which they're not in the least.) but how Kurt Cobain didn't give a rat's ass on how his guitar sounded. He made the Jagstang, which is a combo of Fender's two shitiest guitars ever, EVER made. All of Nirvana's riffs are really fucking simple, but I like the songs for their abstract lyrics, sloppy guitar riffs, and bad ass music videos. They did not destroy metal, Job for a Cowboy did, and you FUCKING know it! (JfaC is too corporate, like Metallica).
