@seamoremonster Yep Bush was liberal. He gave us largest increase in social spending since LBJ. Under Clinton you had gridlock and not one party rule. Nothing got done which was wonderful for the economy.

Also did George Bush block legislation to regulate the housing industry long before the economic crisis? That was the Dem's. @huckster699 aha, but there is. the same situation is here in Canada. although we have many political parties, the only parties to form federal governments have been the PC's, and the Liberals. the PC's are like your Republicans, and the Liberals similar to Democrats, (although the PC's are blue, and the Liberals are red).
now, the PC's are corrupt, but they don't give us blue collar guys shit. so are the Liberals, but at least they give us shit. that's the difference as i see it.
