i think that SIBA has done an excellent job with this film, brings a tear to my eye - very interesting to hear that the government actually makes less profit now due to raising taxes! also, i agree with the points made about real ale not being used as a get-smashed-quick option, it is a drink that's all about socialising and the government should be backing community pubs that promote it - not aiding their closures. just really hope they wake up soon...
I'd like to thank all you lovely british people for bringing your delicious, refreshing liquid to Norway. Thank you for giving us an alternative to our shoddy, measly, tasteless beer (Albeit a somewhat expensive alternative, norwegian politics at blame). I'm proud to be drinking real beer, YOUR beer. Enjoy it moderately and savour it. Three cheers from Norway.
i loved this short film it ticks all the boxes for me i am very proud of british beer, the best in the world and the best place to drink it .unique!!!
All this really needs is a plug from Wallace and Gromit. I know SO many lovers of traditional beers and ales. It would be hideous to lose this national treasure - no, it's a world heritage treasure. Can people outside of Great Britan do anything to support your effort from here? (much as we'd all love to fly back across the pond and belly up to the bar, we're struggling a bit ourselves).
Very good film, at last someone is doing something to make people more aware of the catastrophic situation that the government has created. Two things really, firstly when will the government cotton onto the fact that they are not only destroying the pub industry but they are also driving alcohol into the home, a far more dangerous prospect than any pub can offer.................... secondly what do the makers of this film want us to do to support them?............
As part of one the companies involved in this film I hope people pay attention and see what they are doing to one of our most valued and treasured traditions/crafts by raising tax.
Very good film, nice to see so many people as enthusiastic as a lot more of us should be.
This is an excellent example of how to lobby government for a cause. I'm American, but I absolutely agree with your cause. I'll have to go find a British brew locally to hoist in symbolic support.
americans only pay pennies on the gallon in beer tax

I've blown my tough guy image and have tears of pride in my eyes for the masterpieces that this nation produces.

The Arts Council invests over £½BILLION per year on art.
The beer world isn't asking for a handout, just a fair chance.
STOP ABUSING LIQUID ART.!!

which beer is the best-selling British lager?
Asking British government to cut taxes is like asking Santa Claus to go Jewish, lol
