  • 하몬드 B-3로 연주하는 "죄에서 자유를 얻게함은"

  • this is a good video sound and good sound so it is and good sound so it is and good quality sound and good taste of music from gary mckee

  • shes not running pedals people lol look at her pedal drawbars there all the way in but that would be cool tho

  • Speaking from a technical sense here,...I have but one question. Okay, what is really the purpose of switching the Leslie from fast to slow at certain points in the song? The organist at my church does not do that,...she leaves the Leslie on fast at all times.

  • Praise the Lord!

  • what key is this in?

  • @dyergirl3 F Major

  • Great sound. she needs a foot switch for the l,eslie though

  • I dont have a Hammond organ but I have the "Native Instrument's B4" software and it sounds great I can play it on the computer with a Midi key board.

  • @timemantwelve is there anywhere you can download that software?

  • Thank you dera sister for doing this and putting this on U-Tube you have made me very happy here in Ireland. See you in Heaven and I can't wait to see what you will come up with there.

  • Le Gospel à l'orgue Hammond est toujours un belle découverte!...Bravo!.......

  • Great. You did a wonderful job. I think your footwork is suberb. Reminds me of the revivals i used to play in tent eetings using a Hammond with one or two Leslies. Super. PTL.

  • Is that a bass guitar playing along with her, or is she tapping the bass notes with the foot pedals. I was going to say, if she's hitting those notes with her foot pedals, thats mighty impressive! Thanks for posting this!

  • Congratulations on the wonderful job that you do playing the classic Hammond Organ! These organs are becoming more and more scarce at they are scrapped on a daily basis! It is a shame that Hammond went out of business (as we knew then).

Keep up the good work and God Bless!

  • Nice job and nice work with the Leslie too.

  • You are WAY better than some Black organists!

  • thanks for sharing this, im a 21 year old lad from england, just restored my first hammond and these videos are great inspiration how to aproach the playing, thanks :), if you have any advice or copies of scores of music for this i would love! to be e mailed :) waynebux-rke@hotmail.co.uk

  • aleluya!! esta buenisimo... quiero un Hammond ya!!

  • THANK YOU for sharing this blessing! I miss the joyous sound of the Hammond. Churches in my part of the country are in a race to destroy their Hammonds, hymnals, pews, choirs and everything else I find sacred.

  • I LOVE IT! Great to hear the joyous sound of a Hammond. All the churches around here seem to be in a race to throw out their Hammonds, hymns, pews, choirs and everything else sacred to my worship. THANKS AGAIN for this blessing!

  • Hello you are a great player I have a concord and was wondering what drawbarsettings are used for Booker T and Jimmy Smith style? Thank you

  • No offense but did you grow up in Black pentecostal church? You have that black gospel touch

  • My dad sent me this vid. This reminds me of how he rocks gospel on the B3. Great job!

  • @PrincessWizard Thanks for sharing it on FB, B! I'm gonna send it around a little more!

  • Thanks for posting this excellent hammond performance. A great spiritual experience. and wonderful music.

  • Mrs. Flowers- You're music is a testament and blessing to many. I would love to purchase a CD from you for my own personal enjoyment. Please contact me at my email address or leave a post on here on how to get in touch with you regarding purchasing a CD. Thank you and keep up the great work.

  • I have no idea what the problem is with those other retarded commenters who can't stop talking about Jesus or whatever, but this is well-played and you got great sound out of that organ.

  • There is power, power, wonder working power, in the blood, of his name...

  • Beautiful, amen, amen

  • Girl, you tearin' that bass up! Praise God! Woohooo! LOL

  • Your music is soooooooooooo inspiring. Love that music and the good ol' Hammond organ that you play. Excellent, keep up the good work, and organ playing.

  • Amen

  • very good,wonderfoul!!

  • Great swing...

  • ..the holly Sister of Barbara Dennerlein?

  • Klingt super!

  • play it, sister!

  • It is only power we need!!

  • has this organ been modified?? this could be a time when my musical ear stinks, but it almost sounds like the motor is being stopped, rather than the leslie put on slow mode

  • @adam62385 Actually, most organs don't have a 'slow' setting. The leslie is either not spinning or spinning fast. The 'slow' setting wasn't added until later productions of the hammond. Nowadays most organs have all three, but there is some hard-wiring involved in making that setting available, which organists today take for granted.

  • Your hair should be in a bun and NO make up

  • @wonghowlee I dont believe she has make up on and there is no commandment in the bible

about the hair being in a bun Just that she should not Cut it.

  • your good darlin!!!..love tht prettty sound...very inspirational.....

  • so pretty...love gospal oorgannn

  • Yeah, bring on that old time gospel sound!!!

  • Wow, amazing! Very heavy gospel sound! You go, girl!!!

  • Lmbo this is good I wish I can play like that!!!!

  • Superbe!.........Et très belle maîtrise du jeu!...Bravo!...

  • So How DO poeple Learn how to play like this/? Lol i wish i could play gosple like this!!

  • @7DaniBoo It's easy. After you learn to read notes, you only have to do one thing to play like this:

Practice, Practice, Practice, Practice, Practice, Practice, Practice, Practice, Practice, Practice.... until you get it right :)

  • Wow! That's What's Up!! I Loved It!

  • thats what i like smooth playing

  • The Hammond A-100 is the best sounding B3 I ever heard.

  • this is one of my favorites very nice.

  • it's almost too perfect...your hand movements, the way you change the speed on your leslie, your finger, your hands...are you a robot?

  • Good job. Love the sound of your organ. I like those traditional hymns.

My wife plays the A-305 digital Hammond and has videos on You Tube also.

  • I have an A100 that's sounds awesome just like yours....had a B3 for years but wanted to try an A100; love to year ya play; keep it up and give us more vids!!

  • Wow..takes me back. Dont know who you are but very well done. Amen

  • I have a 52 yo Hammond C3 with JR20 speaker + Leslie 300 which came with both hand switch and foot switch. Not wishing to put holes in the organ, I velcroed the foot switch to the top of the volume pedal and acuate it with my toe to change the rotating speed. Note how distracting it is to see an organist slap the hand switch with resulting "snap" every time that happens. My foot switch is absolutely silent and does not require me to move my hand from the keyboard and most others do. John

  • superbe mais le pédalier?.....

  • Love Sis. Flowers' Organ playing! Just wish I were there to play the piano! Look forward to seeing them again and playing more music! God Bless!

  • let me remember Mrs. Ethel Smith in their best times. Let me say go ahead and ' down by the riverside ' lol.

  • Un grand bravo, pour la petite !

  • You better play that organ...U must be UHCOA

  • Sister, you are serious! Excellent!

  • verey good like it love hammond organs

    thanks for posting

    nick

  • I would love to see her feet, she is dead on the bass

  • @wtgmedic : She need no bass if the notes don`t ask for it. The sound is also beutiful without bass, or not?

  • You people who speak the language take away from the enjoyment. Just say "That sounds like nothing else on Earth. Amazing!"

  • You can jam for me anytime...wonderful traditional, under-the-gospel-tent-there's-a-camp-meeting-tonight sound! Whew! I love it!

  • You already know :)

  • Nice chord structure!! LOL **smiles**

  • MIGHTY WORKING POW'R!!!!

  • Use that Leslie !

  • Absolutely.

  • cool

  • That was awesome! Very soulful. Praise Jesus !

  • There certainly is!!! Thanks for the beautiful anointed music!!!

  • Jen: you get as much out of the A-100 as I have ever heard but I would give anything to hear you behind the wheel of the greatest organ of all time . The GREAT OLD B-3. The A and the M have same tone generator as the B and any Hammond is better than the rest. They are still making the B-3 on custom orders and if God ever blesses me with about $20,000.oo You will have one! ! Your music takes me back to where I came from so thanks for keeping pentecost alive and well in my heart ! !

  • The A-100 IS exactly like the B3, accept it has built in speakers and reverb. Which is more then a B3. You can take the keyboards, amp, etc. from an A-100 and it will fit perfectly into a B3 cabinet. Just no speakers. Anyway, Jen sounds great.

  • Comment removed

  • Hmmm. omygadd: The A-100 IS a B-3 in every detail except the woodwork, plus it has speakers and reverb. But the exact B-3 guts are there in B-3, C-3, A-100, RT-3 and D-100. As for the A-100 .. well, nowadays the best "B-3" you will find on the market is an A-100, as they have generally lead a quiet life in somebody's living room, and have not had nearly as much wear as the B-3s and C-3s (which are generally used and abused on stage or in churches)

  • I agree with you because my church has a C3 and we've had that organ since our church was first built in 1971. But it still sound wonderful. There's nothing like the sound of those old tonewheel hammond organs!!!

  • hi zillefabrik

lots here in switzerland tho ' !!

    aloha

    nigel

  • Hallo nigel,

  • Wonderfull! You play realy relaxed.

That's why it sounds so amazing.

In Germany you don't meet many Organplayers

who can play it this way...

    Good Luck!

    Johnny

  • Great.played very well...Thanks for posting this song..Have a great day!

  • Love your style. I'm a piano player and began playing organ at church out of necessity. I've just learned on my own. I would like to see some instruction on draw bars and sounds. I think what I'm playing now is a Hammond RT3 and it's intimidating. Is that something you could help us novices with?

  • Amazing. I strive to have this style when I play... one of my favorite hymns and one of my favorite songs to play with the worship team. You've inspired me.

  • Ottimo

  • Wonderful! Simply wonderful!

  • Why doesnt sweden got an hammond in church. It would be much funnier to sing groovier tunes in church... =)

  • ottimo

  • Wonderful! Congratulations!

  • I belong to a Paganist druids fellowship and this song makes even me want to get up and dance!!!!

  • Well, do it! Somethin great might happen to you. Jesus loves you!

  • power in the blood Hallelujah!

I am from the old Pentecostal times, I was raised with these amazing songs, nothing today csn compair to them, they draw you into worshipping our Lord and Savior

  • @darlenei2 I was raised in a Pentecostal Church too and we had an organ just like this one..... I agree that nothing can compare to these old songs because they were not wrote for fame they were wrote to draw people to the Lord and IT WORKED!!!!!

  • @EmmonsLL3 Hey My dad plays an organ like this we are a pentecostal church in NI

  • LORD BLESS HER ITS NICE

  • This sounds like my Pops when we used to have some old fashion, pentecostal church.

    LOVE IT!

  • Simply the best...All "Flowers" videos are a blessing...thank you for sharing with us..

  • Yes praise God there is power in the blood.

I am glad to here this song played today the way it was in the 80's.

    Thank you for sharing it.

  • praise god i love your playing and the song

  • Read a comment that you knew Don Whaley--I knew him well. I am in Asheville, NC and yes there is only ONE organ--the Hammond. Keep playing and post more songs from the Red back book

  • I grew in a Cristian church and that's one of my favorite songs of all times;never gets old and sounds great especially on the organ.Great job playing the organ. You seem to have a mellow sense of playing style which is very rare these days.God bless you and keep playing away.

  • very spiritual compared to all of the others i've seen. PLEASE continue to use your talent to serve Him above.

  • If in Europe would be songs in churches like this, I'd be every sunday in the church :) Really great!

  • Sista Child, you got it! Lord the Bless this sista hands as she praises you.

  • Very soulful. Praise Jesus !

  • That was awesome!

  • omg!!! its lady!!! i love to see a lady on the organ!!!!!

  • YES! There is power in the Blood of Jesus Christ! Thanks for sharing awesome organist!!!

    Randy Templin From Texas

  • I love this song, and the styly that it is being played. It reminds me of the little pentecostal church I grew up in. Thanks for sharing it.

  • i enjoyed to listen it thanks !!!!!

  • i really love your song and the way you play that hammond organ i must have watched it over 35 times or better you must be pentecostal or apostolic i can tell your saved and holy, from Elder:Leonard L.Washington,Sr. Cincinnati,oh-

  • Remember children Jesus does not have a skin pigment, thank you! We love the Lord just the way the Lord loves us! This sound kind of makes we want to shout HALLELUJAH...if I can spell it. Say Amen somebody!

  • A joy to listen to.

  • Love your bass. Wish I could do that!

    I've got a L112 and a 11224 transister.

Always been around Baptists with no beat. The bass is just for harmonics/chords right? :+} So thats how I've learned to play anyway. I play mostly by ear , I don't read music all that well. Love It keep it up!!!

  • She's good. Just needs to loosen up a bit. You don't need to read music. Listen to others play the Hammond but not crazy self-motivated stuff, just people who play unto the Lord. This instrument itself will inspire you.

  • I know what you mean and I've been to plenty of black churches being black and all and for a white girl she does sound rather "churchy" she had to have grown up in black church to learn that style because it certainly isn't taught formally.

  • Nah. This style was once very common in white holiness churches throughout the south. They probably learned it from chruches in the north who were integrated or fellowshipped with black holiness churches. Really! And besides, this organ just makes you play that way.

  • I do love you technique. You're in the key of F correct? Hard to tell over computer speakers. You think you could do something in C? Believe it or not I have a hard time with that key. If I'm and B and we need to do a key change, I'll jump over C to C#

  • I love this! I keep playing it over and over so I can sing with it. You're in my key :-)

  • This reminds me of Pentecostal Camp Meeting music from my younger days....

  • i am a baptist church organist.. not to sound funny... BUT... She sounds like she belongs in a African American Baptist Church.... plays better then most African american musicians I know

  • Definitely called, wish I could play with such anointing.

  • Thanks for posting. By the way, the hymn is in B-flat...not F

  • Thanks for sharing....this is the way I'd like to hear all organ music in church and how I'm sure Heaven will resound. Keep up the good work. Please share the Hammond registrations and make more videos and recordings, but for sale. Keep up the good work and God bless.

  • you guys are funny..

  • Thanks for posting this video. My grandmother was an organist and played very much like this lady. This video reminds me of her.

  • This lady is simply jammin' for Jesus!!! Awesome use of the leslie speaker! I so appreciate the talent displayed here! Wow!

  • Now that's some spirit lifting organ playing..lol. Well done.

  • I like it! Give us more of this stuff, please! Could you also play "down by the riverside" in that style? (I know, I am too demanding ;-) )

    Greetings from good old Europe!

  • I like her style. It's very old school. She knows what she's doing.

  • Great sound, can you tell me the stop settings. Do you have any more videos, or tapes of you playing. I have two H100 types, with Leslie.

  • Great clip.

  • That's not a brother...they don't let their women wear makeup in the holiness church.

  • It seems like in a lot of your posts that you are down on the Holiness faith. I was in the Holiness faith for several years. God gives us each convictions that are personal. Just because a particular denomination believes certin ways does not mean others may not have the same convictions. I personally don't see why you have to wear alot of make up. Who are you trying to impress - God? He sees us how we really are - He sees the heart.

  • What does holiness have to do with her playing?

  • organo de gospel

  • This brother is making that organ sing!!!!

  • Smooth changes

  • Great job!! Loved it!

  • I never played organ so I wonder what is the left hand doing when always reaching over and hitting that "switch"?? Love the playing... I've always loved Hammond organs. So this is an A-100 not a B-3, which I guess is the only Hammond I am familiar with. LOVE IT, KEEP PLAYING, THE LORD IS SMILING IN YOUR FINGERS.

  • that switch adjusts the rate of tremolo in the organ sound.

  • Yes as quoted above the "switch" controls howfast the tremolo is moving in the leslie. Certain Organs do not have this switch. When players play on such they usally use the left hand to play a simple bass line on the uper row of keys.

  • You are fabulous! You take me right back to the South Henderson Church of God and Brother Ralph Day's great organ playing! Thanks so much for sharing.

  • Self-taught...WOW. God didn't just give you "A" talent..he gave you one beyond measure... It does

an old Centurion's heart good to listen to your music.

  • nice playing.

    very good!

  • You play excellent. That A100 sounds great. What model is that a 147 u are using?

  • Those are Nice chords!

  • Great job! You play the same style my Mom does. :)

  • Very good playing. Are you self-taught or did you have lessons to read music or any kind of music theory?

  • self-taught w/God's help

  • Who mentored you with this style? It sounds like someone I've heard before.

  • wow i wish i had a hammond organ!

  • That sounded great. I really like your technique. I could even learn a thing or two from that vid!

  • That was really nice. I enjoyed it fully.

  • Nice

  • Wonderful! It's got that old-time "we're goin' to church" lilt that just makes you feel good! Wonderful use of the Leslie.

  • That was sweet, man. Nice bounce.
