I personally think the elane page and barbara dickison version is better, but wittney sings others songs really well like the bodyguard also she sings jesus loves me the christian song really me great aswell.
Sometimes songs work purely because of their simplicity. I think this is one of them. They seem to play with it a bit much for me. This song is more about the emotion than the vocal gymnastics
Mother and Daughter, Beautiful. Whitney has lived and is still living a great life people, so to all you suckers saying she's doing drugs, oh well. Ya'll be lucky to live half of the happy life she has lived so far.

The CD recording of this is considerably more tasteful in the bravura stakes... where was the tune, Whitney? (We'll put it down to being young!) Cissy was more tasteful... she's amazing!!!
And they dropped the key by a tone (whole step to you Americans out there!) - almost certainly so Cissy could manage the "F" belt at the end. Then again, who cares?!
Check out Julia Murney and Sutton Foster singing this song, they are truly amazing!!! I completely agree with obbligato123! They added way too much enbellishment. It covered the amazing melody too much. I'm not saying I don't like their voices, I just don't like the way they sang this song.

As fantastic as Whitneys voice is, this is an awful version compared to the original. This doesn't even come up to scratch with the Steps version.
