  • Are old penies like that worth anything?

  • @Zuelanda It really depends on the date and the condition. Some people keep the older pennies because they are made out of copper and the newer pennies are not. Theres also Wheat Cents with the wheat stocks and the "ONE CENT" on the back, those are worth a little more than 1 cent and are collectable.

  • @RecoveringRelics Yeah I was wondering because my mom use to collect pennies as a child and she has thousands of pennies from the 1950's-60's.

  • The coinmaster is a good "real" detector to get into the hobby / sport. I got a coinmaster pro for $150 with the purchase of my whites V3i and the CM Pro is fun to use. Its not about what detector or how much you spend, it's about knowing how to use what you've got. Looks like you you are doping well. Some headphones might help ya concentrate on weaker signal and block out surrounding noise. Nice video and good to see younger people finding detecting is fun and educational.

  • yip its not a etrac its a junk machine whites coinmaster my arse

  • @hanghoodiescum How bout you look at my other videos and see what I found before you go saying that about the CoinMaster...It's a GREAT machine for a really cheap price.

  • @hanghoodiescum

OK who cares, when it's coming from a guy with a name that has the word scum in it.

  • iI have had many top makes and models--but use a BOUNTY HUNTER 202 lately and it has a 8 inch and I ordered a 4 inch coil recently and the 4 inch is my fav because it really gets to those trashy places and finds some goodies

  • how much did it cost ?

  • @redline251 Around $180 at my local White's dealer.

  • greating from Holland,

I am a Etrac user, how ever, i have got my self a coinmaster voor buildingplace

search and also for my son to search for ancient relics.

I was and i am inprested of the great stability of the machine.

An also my son found a smal golden earring, wich i dont hear with my

    Etrac

You got a good machine , keep hold on to it.

And excuse me for my bad English, but i am a dutch guy.

    Greetings from holland

  • @detectorzeeland Thank you for the comment. I love the CoinMaster, it is a great machine. I've found a lot of great stuff with it so far!

  • coinmaster is better than ace 350 garrett , i have both of them

  • i,m just waiting to get mine. I ordered a whites coin master. this is all new to me. so i hope this will be a good detector

  • @carpriver1 Nice! It's a good detector and I found a lot with it already. Good luck!

  • Cool vid. I have a Bounty hunter Discovery 1100 but am thinking of getting a Whites cionmaster or an ace 250. Which do you feel is better? I like the Whites as the factory is 50 or so miles from me. I live in Oregon. Thanks.

  • @zekehooper Thanks. I haven't used the Ace 250, but I have heard a lot of good things about them. The CoinMasters are newer so not as many people have used them, but I really like it. It is a great metal detector for the money and so far I have found a lot with it. Good luck!

  • Nice video! I had a Bounty Hunter Tracker IV for a couple of years and it just wasn't doing it for me, so recently I got a Fisher F2 and I have found a ton of stuff I had missed! Hope your enjoying your Coinmaster - Planejet42

  • @planejet42 Thanks! I'm glad you are liking the Fisher F2! I like my new CoinMaster a lot! Good luck and HH!

  • @RecoveringRelics Thanks, you too!!!

  • I'm buying a metal detector, for under $200, I want to collect pretty much anything just like you, Do you recommend the coinmaster? Whats wrong with the Bounty Hunter?

  • @NicktheMainer The CoinMaster is a good metal detector and its only $180. Theres nothing wrong with the Bounty Hunter, it is a great little machine and it found a lot of great stuff. You can get the Garrett Ace 250 for $212. I like the CoinMaster so far because I found a lot of nice things with it already and I just got it a month ago. I would recommend the CoinMaster as a starter metal detector and if not the CoinMaster, a Garrett Ace 250.

  • Nice going for the first time out with your new machine. There's no telling what you might find in such a history rich area. Have Fun! Mike

  • @mikewaskewicz Thanks! You're right, you never know what you will find!

  • Congradulations on the new machine! I believe the Coin Master is essentially the same machine that was called a Prizm (the first prizm) when it first came out. Since then, the Prizms have advanced to the Prizm 6, which has many of the features of the more expensive machines. I currently have a Prizm and have pulled coins from as deep as 10". Be advised that the four 14K gold rings I found this year came up as strong pull tabs. An 18K gold wedding band came up as a strong nickle. Dig it all!

  • Thanks for all the info! I will dig it all because you never know what you are going to find! Good luck and happy hunting!

  • Great old buckle and congratulations on your new machine. HH

  • Thanks for sharing day 1 of the new machine! BH's ARE fun, but the upgrade here will go a long way towards treasure for ya! This looks and SOUNDS much like my White's IDX...with digital buttons instead of knobs...I've KILLED with the IDX and you will too with this machine! SCREW "brand envy" go dig holes brother, you got the tool for it now! Hit me in chat I'll give ya details of IDX operation that may be the same on this machine and help uncover more treasures!

  • Thanks for the comment Jim. I'm really happy with the CoinMaster so far. I think it is going to do really well in my neighbor's yard if he lets me hunt there. I hope I do as well as you did with your IDX. If I see you in chat we can definitely talk about the IDX and CoinMaster. HH!
