Hilo YOYO it's not all that. You are better off keeping your hard earn money and spend it on something that you will be happy about. I guarantee you that you will win sometimes with Card Counting but when the cards go ugly, chances are you will make trips to the ATM. Card counting will not make you rich unless you have a surplus of money to cover the neg variance.

If you really know anything about blackjack you'd know Hi-Lo is shit especially in multi-deck [4 deck+] with penetration control, the changes made years ago neutralized it.

@asherasator It does not matter how many decks the house is playing, sure it might hurt your advantage, but it will still tell you when you have an advantage, and besides, not matter what system your using, a higher shuffle rate is bad for any player. Card counting almost never affects the penetration unless the house purposely shuffles because of someones advantage play. The only way the casino could eliminate the hi- lo system is by using a CSM, which has failed in the past. Thank u very much

The real guys who are making millions from casinos (Don Johnson early this year) play long hours 10+ & use a completely different strategy. Counting relies on knowing when "to bet big". The real systems make many small wins combined by using the cards actual "Combinatorics" on themselves with how many card values, decks & 2 players with the way they distribute to the dealer & player, with choices made by % of bust rate

@MLGKLAN The way to test any count system's accuracy is by (1) take 6-8 decks, place a cut card 75% deep (2) burn a card exactly as the dealer does in actual play (3) play about 20% into it (4) stop the game go through the remaining deck & count the Hi vs Lo to the cut card & see does it match your count? Do the same thing over & over again @ 40%, 50% etc. Before anybody bets their $ they need to do this & get a dose of reality & see what they're really doing. This simple process shows truth.

The burn card alone [if it's not counted] immediately starts the game off with an inaccurate count. If you can't see it how do you count it? So the count CANNOT be accurate, there are guessing games when everything is supposed to be precise? The whole idea with modern rules goes against the reality concerning the way the game is played today, thinking a little helps.

What a business. Basic Strategy was created by Julian Braun of IBM for SINGLE DECK & INFINITE SHUFFLE: after every hand cards went back into pile, then shuffled & dealt another hand. The whole system was based on that process with millions of hands & results were "statistical", NOT COMBINATORICS.

@MLGKLAN Also remember his statistics were "1 deck infinite shuffle", where many have a count down [cards are placed to the side till the end then return to the deck for shuffling] & the cards DO NOT GO BACK INTO THE DECK DURING THE GAME SO THE STATISTICS ARE COMPLETELY INACCURATE. & for the casinos that have infinite shuffle machines with 4-8 DECKS the statistics are completely different than from 1 deck with randomness & distribution. His math doesn't even apply today AT ALL.

@MLGKLAN & when ppl do win using the systems it's really PURE LUCK. & there are many who do win here & there, but the majority is millions of dollars are lost everyday with card counting & basic strategy THAT'S WHY CASINOS STAY IN BUSINESS. Everybody has access to the same information & most walk in to play Blackjack with some information. These obsolete systems actually give the casinos over 5% advantage & in many cases 20%+ that's why some dealers seem to be unbeatable & make hand after hand.

@MLGKLAN The way u hit & stand affects what the dealer has on his hands, it's like a computer code. The current commercial obsolete basic strategy alone creates through combinatorics favorable dealer hands majority of the the time. U alter the dealers hands by ur choices thru the entire decks. It like changing a code & when u play alone u control that process better than with others. Those cards values per deck combine certain ways as a binary hand [2 cards dealt] per person [dealer, player]
