@robinbrannon1  Not real sure but im guessing it will be a gradual process just like the transition from NWA livery to Delta's.

@piotrkol1 Yes it's definitely very non jet-like. What it seemed like to me is when the engines hit a certain frequency of sound, it vibrates the panels on the inside of the plane.

@LoveJT8D Correct, it is also called the MD95. I also like the MD90 as well. BUT NOTHING, NOT ANY NEW 717 OR MD90 WILL OUTPERFORM THE SOUND OF AN OLD JT8D, SPECIALLY THE 7B MODEL, WHICH NOW IS RARE

@AirplaneVideos1 I remember flying the 7B model when I was really young. It was an old US Air DC-9. I remember the sound but I was s young and didn't have a camera, or realize how special that plane would be today.

@LoveJT8D Correct, back in 2007 I flew a couple of times in Aserca Airline's YV118t and YV117t which had 7B's, the sound was insane, but I did not give a shit (IDIOT) now I want to fly in one, bot the YV116 YV117 and the YV118 got retired in 2008.

Wow, beautiful video and excellent sound. What camera did you use to take it?

@SpantaxDC10 Thanks man. I use the Sony DSC-H55. To me the HD is somewhat sub-par, specially at night because it will get a little grainy. But I do a lot of work in post-production to enhance the audio and colors. This camera is great in the fact the audio does't crap out on loud planes. Most of my videos I use Sony Vegas Pro for post work. Now I am currently transitioning to Final Cut Pro. Other than that, the camera is a workhorse.

Took an AirTran B-717 10 days ago PHX-ATL seat 26A. Other than the music of those RR's probably the worst flight in my life. Filthy windows and my knees touched the seat in front of me. I begged the person in front of me to NOT recline. No way a quality vid could have been shot with those windows.

@TheTemest Yeah, when I am filming, dirty windows are a pet peeve of mine. Hope you get on a cleaner 717 next time.

@YxJames Yes I don't see too many startup videos of this aircraft, and it has it's own unique sound. I had to cut some of the startup out cause the flight attendant passed right by me but wasn't for long so I was able to save most of it.

@thecravenator42069 I've seen a mock picture of the 717 in Southwest livery and looked surprisingly sharp but stil something that would take some getting-used-to. You can find it in a google search.
