  • This was my favorite show for years!!!

  • Pause at 0:28 ... Ronon had his Wheaties; Total game face.

  • this sums him up so well....

    shooting and one-liners

  • can i get thumbs up for no reason ;D

  • Great comic timing by Shepard as usual!

  • I´d prefer this, too! What a cool gun!

  • I'll still take the p90......

  • there is an m60 as well

  • I love the ad for professional firearms training that pops up during this clip. Finally some decently accurate advertising.

  • He didnt try the .50 or the 240....

  • any one else notice the 50 cal in the background :P

  • @legoclonedude ahh, so thats what a fifty cal. looks like.

  • LOL 0:15 he full winked at the target hahahahhaha watta champion

  • I bet it was improv. He's the man!

  • I love Ronan's gun. It is a facinating weapon

  • "thats good too, I PREFER THIS, bang" lol

  • That gun sounds amazing.

  • @LordTyrannus

Screw phasers, we have better toys

  • Atlantis is amazing especially with ronon in

  • Really funny this bit

  • i love this part. XD

  • Ronon and his gun.

  • XDXD

  • Teal'c would very much like to possess a weapon such as that.

  • Teal'c has more wisdom than just about anyone on the atlantis crew. He's been alive for how many years now?

  • Whoever seriously thinks Teal'c has no brain is fucked up.

  • Omg....kill yourself.

  • 157 I think if you count those 50 years on the Odyssey.

  • @Usul573 And why is it that Bratac looked much older than Teal'c at 133? He says in season 1 of SG1 that he's 133 and old.

Yet Teal'c makes it to 157 and he still is the equivalent of in his 40's. What the fuck gives?

  • @ReturnedGrazzt perhaps bratacs aging was related to his how close he was to becoming unable to take a new symbiote. because of tritonin, teal'c never aged like that. or the creators of stargate didn't prepare because they didn't expect the sieries to go on so damn long. lucky they were wrong

  • OVER 9000!!!!!

  • @LordTyrannus 150 or aged 50 yrs in unending

  • @LordTyrannus

He is over 100 years old :)

  • @LordTyrannus teal'c isnt in more than 2 episodes of sga that is ronon..

  • @amcbub9th

So what? How does that negate the fact that he is the wisest among them? He was fighting enemies of apophis when ronon was in diapers.

  • @LordTyrannus 120 something, I think? :)

  • @LordTyrannus

he was born in 1899, and spent a minimum of 50 years in the time dialation field so, as of 2011 he is 162

  • @saylsen when he was exiting the time dialation field, wasn't his age reversed while his memory stayed the same?

  • @blisterbeetle01 no, his age wasn't reversed

  • @LordTyrannus About 160, I think,

  • @LordTyrannus He's around 150 years old :p

  • @LordTyrannus 162 years and that counting the 50 years trapped on the Odyssey.

  • @LordTyrannus

Ok, I'm going to reply to my comment since I've had about 162 different people who responded. I posted that a year ago, I have since then figured out how many years he's been alive..

  • Comment removed

  • @LordTyrannus a few hundred.

  • indeed

  • god that is so awesome...

  • LOL. That's awesome.

  • I just had a Men in Black flashback

  • I love stare gate is wicked + I don't think John sounds high pitched

  • I think so. Probably the video is at 1.5 time speed

  • O shit... That gun is so badass! wat is it?!?

  • its a gun he picked up in his time as a runner, same gun that the traveler (space nomads) use. kills in one XD

  • Ronon: "I prefer this."

John: "I can see why." XD

  • Actually it goes like this:

    Ronon: I prefer this.

(shoots a huge ass hole in the target)

    Sheppard: I can see why...

  • You're both wrong... Sheppard's line is "I can see why you would.".

  • Does John's voice seem kinda high pitched in this part or is it just me?

  • I heard it to. That was weird.

  • Oh good. I'm not crazy then.

  • watch some clips of him at gate-con. his voice gets high pitched sometimes.

  • ok thanks! :)

  • He'd probably be great in the military. I can see him going through basic training and getting praise from the DI because of his shooting. And also that he'd probably kick the hand-to-hand combat instructor's arse.

  • i wonder...what exactly is powering ronons gun, cos he never seems to replace/charge it

  • season 4. episode 5.

sheppard is held hostage by the travelers to activate and run a ship for them, they are seen using the same weapons and sheppard openly mentions something like "i'd wondered where ronan got his gun" the guns in this episode do run out of energy. so its safe to assume ronans does too, just never seen onscreen.

  • really...i must have missed that episode ill check it out :)

  • You can see the red bulb energy thing on his belt in this scene and others probably too, I wonder if it's 50 or 100 shots or whatever for each one.

  • hmm maybe, that or it could be a way of reloading if he does run out of energy

  • it does need recharging, idk how many shots each cell has , but they are rechargeable but the guns are reloaded just like a revolver (location on the gun-wise) and you can see he has several extra cells on his belt opposite the gun in this scene, forom atlantis wiki

  • oh right, so u can..hehe never een noticed that before

  • "I can see why you would"

    Hahaha!

  • Mmmmm... Ronon. There's nothin hotter than a fricken hot man firing a weapon with such fervor.

  • LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ronan is best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • LOL Ronan-I perfer thin *BAM!* Johns head cums from the side - I can c why u would.

I luv johns face and voice when he says that it always make me laugh idkw.

  • damn picture if ronon have two of those pistols

  • He could from the travelers but he probably wants a free hand just in case

  • he would be one word...unstoppable

  • i believe that he already does

  • i want 1 of those!!!

  • Aw come on..Don't be a smartass....

What I meant was that why go to the work of adding the sound of brass hitting the ground, but no empties out of the gun? I mean...they sorta go hand-in-hand. No use of one without the other. As much work to digitally add either.

  • OMG he is so damn sexy

  • is Ronon a weapon specialist? since after all he said was a specialist. And he always have knifes on him.

  • I think it means specialist as in special ops.

  • Lol..I like watching Ronan shooting the 9MM...noise,muzzle flash, and at the edn there is a clinking from brass hitting the floor....But no brass coming from the gun ;)

P.S. I want Ronans gun ;) It is identical to the Travellers weapons, BUT, the Travellers weapons run low on energy? I haven't seen Ronans do that yet.

  • The flash doesnt let you see the brass flying out.

  • Now... if only Stargate Command/I.O.A. would design an advanced hybrid firearm that had the properties of a multi-variable A.R.G., Zat gun, Ronan's gun, and still had the ability to pack P90 rounds.

A.R.G. blasts for adaptable, wide area molecular de-cohesion

Zat blasts to stun/kill/disintegrate single targets or a pile of objects

Ronan's gun to melt holes through metal

And finally, P90 rounds as something to fall back on.

  • ohhh big words... did you make them up? :P

  • Huh? But no seriously. Watch and you WOULD be able to see brass flying out. Plus you KNOW there won't be brass considering that the production teams are only using blanks.

  • Hmm your right lol

  • Well DUH idiot OF COURSE THEY ARE USING BLANKS!!

I seriosly doubt the actors have actual weapons training. you need firearms safty to handle a weapon but seriosly If a riochete happened it could cause some injury

  • Well even if they were using blanks there would be brass coming out still. I have used blanks many times and they can still kill you within close range...

  • there are specially made blanks that are for things such as movies and T.V. shows that release brass for the effect. I've seen them, just never seen them in action.

    Shepard's reaction is priceless.

  • i am incompatible with sarcasm.... lol.

  • Amazing...just Amazing!

  • i want one of those

  • That's hot.... you even see a little peek of Ronon belly-flesh.... snexy. :)

  • haha that gun is so badass.

  • I want that gun!

  • Indeed, I too prefer this weapon. Outstanding!

  • I wonder if i could get a permit to carry one of those!!!

  • Wow LMAO what the hell kind of round does that thing use?!

  • I love how Sheppard looks through the hole and says 'I could see why you would' haha brilliant

  • Me too!

  • This is one of my all-time favorite scenes from Stargate Atlantis, if not THE all-time favorite scene.

  • i love ronon's gun...

  • Thats good too...lol. Jason Momoa sure is good. :)

  • ROFL! My dad and I cracked up when we watched that scene during that episode. Nothing like Daddy and Daughter watchin our SciFi shows! Even at nearly 20yrs old daddy and I still sit and watch Stargate and old Star-Trek movies, Ect together. grew up on that stuff. Everything from Marx Bros. to Bond to SG-1 and Star-Trek TNG, Voyager and DS9 GOTTA LOVE IT!

  • That's lovely! Thanks for sharing.. pass on the tradition to your kids huh?

  • ABSOLUTELY! One BIG requirement for a husband would be that he'd have to LOVE SciFi especialy Stargate and Star-Trek lol

  • i prefer this.. BOOOOM

  • The director says that's his favourite scene in this ep and he's always playing back ...

  • cool
