  • This hit shouldn't have happened. Boychuck should have been suspended after Game 2 of this series for trying (and almost succeeding) to break Vanek's ankle with a slash. Sabres were winning the series and winning Game 2 when their best player Vanek was lost for the series. But since it was the Bruins of course the slash wasn't even called. That POS Boychuck was already being called for a hooking penalty so no call on the slash...

  • welcome to hockey my friend...great hit! GO BRUINS!!!!

  • clean hit and go sabres!!!

  • UNR3Al

  • smoked

  • HOW MUCH WOOD COULD A BOYCHUK CHUK IF A BOYCHUK COULD CHUK WOOD

    omfg

  • So, the only time we'll see huge, clean hits with no scrum afterwards is the playoffs? I guess so...

  • That is truly an NHL hockey hit. That is a heavyweight hit.

  • A thing of beauty.

  • Wow, perfection. I don't blame players if they make contact with the head incidentally, but there was no contact on this one.

Too bad Ellis still got hurt on such a good hit.

  • @darkphoenix2 looked like their was some head contact, but then again who cares, perfect hit

  • @NHLArchive it's always hard to tell, we'd need SUPER slow replays

  • @darkphoenix2 yeah it is, that is why i don't bother worrying about it, they need to have the highspeed camera like the foxmo for every angle.

  • Boychuk Channels the other 55 Kronwall

  • beauty

  • Shades of Campbell on Umberger?

  • @NHLArchive EXACTLY what came out of my mouth when I first saw this, watching live.
