I've started to have a crack at the journal from Uncharted 3. Everything inside will be custom too since I cant find any original photos or anything and I dont have photoshop, so this means free handed drawings and writing, and custom printouts (mostly on MS Paint) lol. But I was trying to do this journal last year (and yours was my favourite I found on the RPF) so... Wish me luck. Great work btw!!!!

Actually I had to take photos of my TV while I was playing the game.

THen took the photos into Photoshop and made some size adjustments so that it would be the same aspect ratio as the pages from the blank journal i bought.

But how the diary your making it in did you make the cover like that or buy it like that?

@Turgmahu - The book that I used was also a Molskine Sketchbook (Same as the one used for the Drake's Journal), except the smaller version.

I used the sponge method to paint it a leather color, then I used a Dremmel to do the embossing of Drake's crest and border. I then used gold acrylic to fill in the embossed lines.

@Turgmahu - Im actually in the process of making it. The first few pages of the diary seen in the game are illustrations that Francis Drake actually did for a nautical almanac that was published in 1546.

I have a red Moleskine sketchbook that I think I'm going to alter for the Uncharted:DF book.

I wish they'd made the journal accessible at any time in that game lol we (I) still need to find the pages created for the game.
