i wish a tv show would finally get together a bunch of real Arab or Turkish ladies and have THEM do such a show with a coach.

what s perceived as a show dance and the "look at me, i m sooo sexy" kind of dance in the west is done at social events incl baptization for Christians or circumcisions for Muslims or weddings or women s parties from childhood on, so ppl breathe the movement from early stages on..

it s different, natural, more creative..

The bellydance prode of Vancouver! They all look amazing, but Karen is by far my favourite. She's also a fantastic instructor as well. So is Gillian for that matter.

All in all, great job ladies! Shivan did a great job with a lot of the costuming, wow!

Gillian is my fav. I noticed on the show that they credit costuming to Tania Atkinson. I have been searching for the outfits. Mostly the warm-up outfits they wear. Really awesome show!

The grace and beauty of the dancer Shivaun is overwhelming, and I am pleased to see her in action.
