  • Am I the only one who laughed their ass off at this idiot when he got ripped up by the wolves?

  • this scene with wolves is better then any of the scenes in "the grey" ... cgi wolves are shit . FACT

  • this movie is such an UN REAL LIFE situation. seriously.

  • @hannahbade ya, so how the fuck do you know the wolves aren't starving

  • @why12983476why Not saying they aren't, just saying you never know.

  • lol And why didn't he climb the tree right next to him?

  • @iceydogs dude he broke his legs when he fell.....

  • would there be a pack of wolves at a ski resort ? i don't think so.

  • could have been worse (see saw1-7)

  • I know. They looked really fake...

  • Wolves don't eat people alive they bite down on the neck till it dies.

  • one word i gotta saw: ew

  • Wolves wouldn't attack him unless they were starving....

  • @HannahBadE True, but if you're bleeding, you are like a fucking roast to them. Wolves can smell blood from miles away, and they will attack.

  • Still don't understand why the guy didn't just punch 'em a couple times or fight back at all. He just went like, "Ima make a lot of noise come taste me!" wtf?

  • So many clueless people. Wolves are scared of people, their nature is to avoid us . When hunting in the wild. they always go for the baby animal, the weakest, injured, old, or sick. IF they are starving, they haven't had food in a while, depending the situation, they COULD attack an injured and defendless human like the boy in the movie, because he bled from his wound, they can smell blood from miles away, and because he was weak, tired and defendless and they were probably starving.

  • Benton!

  • Also, Bruce is right, wolves will take the food regardless of what it is.

  • Wolves don't live in New England.

  • @Kipkat13 not true. we have wolves in new england.

  • well, look at the bright side those wolves got their happy meal?

  • since when did wolves sound like dinosaurs eating a man

  • This was seriously shocking terrible, worst death to be eaten alive

  • when i bought this film i had no idea that it would be like this.

but one good thing was that my prediction was right for the ending.

If you were a wolve in the frezzing mountains wouldn`t you go and eat him to keep warm, so really they were just trying to survive

  • and my family wonders why im scared of wolves my whole life

  • ouch... good thing i watched this movie late at night with the sounds turned down so i missed most of the sceams

  • will wolves straight out attack you like that i thought you had to provoke them or unless they were really hungry

  • @XxnordlyxX He was bleeding because of his coumpound fracture in both legs, I think the wolves would have done the same for a hurt deer or any other injured animal because blood is really tasty, it's like finding a mountain of ice cream.

  • @zdkrdh ugh so they knew he couldn't move anyway and because he were bleeding they knew its a easy meal but i wonder if aminals feel emotion like us or at least show mercy but i think its just there instinct to kill for food or taste

  • that was fucked up how he just die if i was cornerd by a whole bunch of wolfs i would be so scared

  • ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ஜ۩۞۩ஜ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

    SHUT UP AND ENJOY

    ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ஜ۩۞۩ஜ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

  • Ooh, nasty but they're so cute. XD

  • Wolf: "Taste like chicken."

  • Comment removed

  • hardcore

  • I kinda wanna go out and shoot some wolfs now :)

  • @hellodisco18

Why? Are you stuck out in the wild and hungry with very limited resources of food, which you can't just buy at a grocery store?

  • @NagaJolokia Why yes as a matter of fact I am,.,.,.don't judge me.

  • cute puppies

  • This film is really good and the gore on this scene is nothing compared to the one later in the film

  • I find this video hard to masturbate to.

  • @boie651 I'm so sorry.

  • Nice.

  • i want a wolf as a pet, it would be 10000% better than a cat or normal dog.

  • someone of that guys stature could easily of snapped a few necks even with limited mobility.

  • @L0zz0 dude sorry man a guy with two compound fractures and severe hypothermia aint gonna snap a 200 pound dogs neck especially if theres a pack

  • @TheNarlyBones well, i wouldn't g hunting in that condition, but ,life on the line, men can be far worse from wolves. AND wolvers are NOT fierce hunters . They hunt a rabbit, a fox, a moose, maybe ...but not bears, for example . Have you ever been attacked by a big dog? If you run, you're done, but try to run in its direction, and it will escape so fast you won't figure the color of is tail. Of course , a pack starving the death would'nt care about a few losses, and keep attacking.

  • Also, the resort is shown as a rinky dink hill probably somewhere in the east, I highly doubt wolves would be around. Although in later scenes they show mountains in the background. was the continuity person sleeping?

    not believable at all.

  • this movie still looks absolutely terrible and this scene is not convincing at all

I don't know a tonne about wolves but I do know that they seem to generally avoid people and attack smaller prey instead.

Also, like most dogs, wouldn't they have gone for his throat first and made sure he was dead before they actually started eating him?

the dialogue is also ridiculous. I mean really, if you were being eaten by wolves, would you REALLY be worrying about the girl not looking? i don't think so

  • Fucking good scene, so disgusting and realistic.

  • ewww

  • Wolves dont attack? Try going to where a pack of wolves hang out 1 am in the morning, but appear injured and vulnerable on the ground. They will test you slowly. Once they see you are weak and no threat, you will be a meal. This does not happen often because hunters are smart, and bring weapone. Hunters are never solo with no weapon, just lying on the ground.

  • This movie is SO not normal...

  • Aw wolves..... Oh. OH! OMG. AHHHHHHHHHHH. OMFG!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHHHHHHAHAHHAHAAHAHAABJHDVVDKWEVDKWJbljheb.....

  • anyway Wolfs is not alone, their in groups.

Always a leader, and wolfs are diffrent like we human..

  • if i were to ever go skiing...i would walk my happy ass up that mountain...AND, i would have my .44 magnum revolver attached to my hip...just in case.

  • This guy is just a quitter, I've fought off 2 wolf attacks in my life. Even if your legs are broken you have to formulate a plan instead of worrying about how traumatized the girl on the ski-lift is gonna be. 1st the guy didn't even hang off the side of the ski-chair to reduce his fall by about 6 feet thus not breaking his legs. 2ed if you want to survive your gonna have to put up a fight, this would include protecting vital organs and fighting back, hopefully killing the alpha dog...

  • This could happen in real life, except that the wolves would go for his throat first I think.

  • why didn't they just tie their coats and shit together, cut the drop in half, climb down and walk home?

  • @whatevergetoff420 OMG we said the same thing when we watched it! Between the scarf, the ski poles and their jackets / shirts / ski pants they could have totally made their way down! The whole situation was so unrealistic! There's a line in "The Edge" about how the wilderness doesn't kill people, panic kills people, and this movie was a perfect example of how to panic, and be totally stupid!

  • Nothing like fresh meat on a chilly night.

  • Why are there lion sound effects?

  • I don't know why anyone would want to watch the uncut version-I saw this movie this last weekend, and I was trying not to cry during the cut version. Oh well, maybe I'm just uber sensitive.

  • Not very well done scene, good thing this was cut. The reactions from the girl were the worst. Her "intense scream" came out as "laugh while crying".

  • I actually thought this movie was very good. I went in thinking it was just another cheesy horror flick but I was pleasantly surprised. I actually liked the scene they kept in for this part. It made it a LITTLE more realistic. Less is more and they didn't show as much blood and gore. Just the girl screaming and her boyfriend screaming, "Don't you let her look!" I thought the girl did a great job. Very believable!

  • Aww... the wolves got a snack... how sweet.

  • i all most throw up at this part didnt see the uncut part till now b4 i was imaging wat was going on an wat would i do if i was there i wouldnt jump lol id do wat Lynch cllimb the wires to the ladder, that girl got lucky twice servied teh fall an the wolfs said fk it

  • @samurairick 313

Your really calling the way this scene was portrayed innaccurate? Wolves are oppurtunistic predators and displayed nothingess than that here. They were intelligent, one scouted out the prey, called the pack, and dined on a rare human delicasy. :)

  • Eww...

  • Shit, this reminds me when wolves attack me in Red Dead Redemption xD

  • well someones gotta worry about the human population!

  • dis was so sad

  • I'm glad they didn't show this scene, the imagination is far worse than the reality

  • Aw their so cutee tho

  • wmp3 and ertyu

  • Poor Dan. He had to go thru all that pain... :'(

  • Wolves do not attack people like portrayed in this movie. The movie totally lost me after this scene. It makes wolves out to be unthinking killing machines like in Jaws. Absolute horror movie BS!!! Do not buy this people. Yes, wolves are wild and cannot be kept as pets. But they are far more intelligent than sharks and avoid people. If you want to see a movie that show wolves as they really are see "Never Cry Wolf"

  • @samurairick313

wolves will attack anything if they can obviously see (or smell) weakened prey.

  • @samurairick313 Sorry, but you're wrong. There are documented wolf attacks in history and plenty fatal, it happens. Wolves are intelligent predators, and rarely would approach humans, but they can read situations very well and they knew that Dan was injured and alone on the ground. There was nothing wrong with the wolves behavior in this particular scene. I think people are just listening to PETA a little to much, WOLVES can be dangerous and very unpredictable.

  • @Mathias202 The only thing that got me was how the wolves were just expecting the best friend to get down to the ground as if they knew he would come down. I would think if nothing remotely interesting was happening at the moment, that the wolves would leave and not pay attention to the man hanging from the wire.

  • @Mathias202 Sorry, but you're wrong. Look up the number of documented wolf attacks in the last 10 years. Hell, look up anything about wolves. NORMAL wolves do not attack people, and certainly not NORMAL wolf packs. When a wolf attacks a human, it is normally one rogue wolf. Normal wolves tend to avoid people. I can suspend my disbelief far enough to say, okay wolves would eat a guy who was defenseless. Lynch was not defenseless and his death makes zero sense.

  • @Zurisht Which one you want to talk about the young school teacher in Alaska rip to Shreds by wait for it a PACK of wolves. Or the young man in Canada rip to shreds by a pack of wolves. So much misinformation on wolves people believe. Next time check your facts before you make a complete and utter fool of yourself.

  • @BruceH59 Yes, you're right. Wolves are just mindless, bloodthirsty movie monsters who eat often come to places with a high population LIKE A SKI RESORT to feast on poor, innocent people. I said it is NORMALLY a rogue wolf in wolf attacks. That isn't to say that a human has NEVER EVER in the history of man EVER been attacked by a pack of wolves, it just happens VERY RARELY. How many times does it happen in this movie again? Like 3? K. Thanks for playing.

  • @Zurisht FIRST YOU POST A LIE saying wolves never attack people now you are trying to spin it. Grow up child this is the real world wolves attack and kill people. You can't handle reality stay in your city with your shallow narrow minded views.

  • @Mathias202 Yeah but these are wild wolfs. As the first guys said, they can tbe kept as pets, but in alot of places dogs that have lke 75% wolf can be kept as pets with the correct documents. as long as they grew up domesticated and far from any wild wolfs, and tehy were raised with humans not being at all links to food, they can be pretty love-able. a friend of mine owns a legal wolf. hes just a big cry baby :3

  • wolf attack are extremely rare, there has been only one documented wolf attack in North America . sadly the man die, and it was a very sick wolf that had been feeding out of trash cans. gray wolves mostly stay away from humans, im a research biologist that has worked in wolf country and only saw tracks.

  • @samurairick313 Um that's where your wrong their honey you see wolf's are evil mother fucker's and when hungry and if your bleeding you got no chance why don't you look them up retard! a wolf will attack you like any wild thing when hungry

  • @SuperMongoosem well yes if a wolf seems someone or something hurt and defenseless then yes they will go for the kill because its easy prey but wolves arent evil, there just doing what they need to do to survie, not trying to start an aurgument just sayin

  • @samurairick313 His leg's are broken bleeding he is alone their hungry so obviously their gonna attack i think i should know btw omg man he was still alive when his gut's were getting pulled out that's heap's awsome :D p.s anyone who say's anything neggative back to me on this should grow up it's just a comment get over it u silly sausages :p

  • @samurairick313 are you kidding me, I pack of wolves would absolutely attack a helpless human that was bleeding, wolves ARE predators, and if there is prey who cleary cannot defend themselves, the wolves would attack. In this situation, this isnt a human, this is FOOOOOD!

  • @samurairick313 These are opportunistic wolves and will definately eat a human if they are just sitting there like this guy was, especially if they are hungry.

  • Omg i wish they left this part on my dvd lol this was the worst part in it the guy was hott man oh god imagine the pain he must of been in :/ all well it's only a movie ^_^

  • Goddamn those Wolves

  • At least the wolves sound like wolves in this clip. In the cut one (which I assume is the theatrical clip) they roar like lions. I guess wolf snarls weren't "impressive" enough?

  • Hahaha.

I will never ever go skiing.

& If I do, I will walk my ass up that mountain.

    Screw ski lifts lol.

This was a pretty great film though.

Very realistic lol. I saw it for the first time the other day & it's all I've thought about xD

  • The wolves are like "nom nom nom!"

    \m/=^.^=\m/

  • Bon apetit guys

  • is there an uncut scene to the other wolf attack as he was gliding down on the sled

  • @rhibac No, sorry. They never intended to show that happen to Lynch, it was supposed to be a 'shock' death.

  • as horror goes .. not seeing the guy get ripped apart is more scary on the cut version because you know hes getting eaten, but can only imagine it in your head

Whereas the uncut version allows you to see his intestines etc. which doesnt really bring fear into anyone because as humans we cant take film gore seriously

    Example: SAW is not scary

Psychological horror is more fearful than actual physical gore

  • @FATHERKINKY Good point, but it depends on the person. I'm sure there are many that aren't affected by psychological horror and require visuals. The SAW franchise thrives on that type of audience.

  • @Mathias202 the reason saw is scary is because it is psychological horror...you're always thinking what if i were in that situation

  • @Mathias202 Well, it really depends of the quality of the scene. Hostel or saw there is gore, and it's very well done. Here, seeing the uncut version, I understand why they cut it. It's not well done, not convincing. Dunno why.

  • @1ino1eum there's not much done well in Hostel.

  • @bigphil2003 Yes, but there were several great moments in Hostel 2

  • @FATHERKINKY Completely agree. For me, it's what you don't see in horror that's more scary.

Once the corn syrup comes out, it bores me to tears.

  • @FATHERKINKY

Very true.....people often forget that this is the component that makes a scary movie (the imagination). Think Alien...a true masterpiece (and Pred as well). Alien had plenty of scenes where you would see the creature but they were mostly cutout so that you had to imagine...and this is what scared you to death.

  • @FATHERKINKY i agree with you on the normal version at this scene i was abit shocked because the way he screams and the sound of his limbs been ripped apart and you get a more gruesome image in your head where as this i thought well that has just ruined my thoughts because ive seen whats happened to him

  • urgh... those wolves appear to have a preference for intestines.

  • Good movie, could have been better tho. What a bad way to go out. "Dont you let her look!"
