  • favorite skit in that Mitchell and Webb look

  • I love the self-mounted camera when Digby's running. I imagine that's what the world looks like to Digby- constantly shaking.

  • SHERLOCK HOMELESS <3

  • That camera rig looks a lot like the one that was used in the movie, "Requiem for a Dream". Maybe if they made this into a movie, they could call it, "Requiem for Sir Digby Chicken Caesar".

  • Holy shit that is so good.

  • Is that Amanda tapping at 2:03?

  • I always thought this was up alongside numberwang and the quiz broadcast as their best sketches :)

  • It's very rare to see David Mitchell laugh during a sketch. 1:14-1:19 he's having trouble.

  • sooooooo funny!

  • Filmed in richmond!

  • Some bastard who's presumably responsible

  • I love that Ginger has a Philadelphia 76ers knit cap on ... how awesomely random is that?? How does one come across a 76ers knit cap in England to begin with?? Its just so funny.

  • *kick* ..."Yeah, he would've felt that."

  • "At last! My grant from the foreign office!"

  • I love his theme song, I hum it myself when I'm on the run.

  • I have it as my ringtone. lol

  • Sir Digby and Ginger keep the world safe for drinking beer out of a can. The Mitchell and Webb look is the best entertainment to come out of England since Monty Python or even the Beatles. I can't wait for these two to make a movie. Sir Digby Chicken Caesar for President!!!

  • @rdingo1 they did, it was called magicians

  • Has anyone spotted the "caesar-cam" reflected in the pub window at 0:23.

  • @ffinybryn good spotting!

  • These sketches are my reason for watching the show. I always imagine that if Bernard and Manny from Black Books ever became homeless that this is what they would become. I don't know why...

  • this is possibly the funniest sketch I have seen in years....

  • at last, my grant from the foreign office! LOL!

  • The true genius of this can only be appreciated by anyone who's gone into work still ridiculously drunk from the night before (and had to try and pretend to be normal around other people.) This is exactly what it's like.

Next time you do it, try humming the theme tune to yourself and you'll see. Or if someone else comes to work looking a bit worse for wear, start singing it at them.

    da-da-da-der-da-da-da-der-dum-dum-dum etc etc

  • lol, i wouldn't advise trying it though if you have to remain composed while high...if anything, it would just make you start laughing for no apparent reason.

  • funny as foooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooook sir digby the tramp of tramps

    lmfao

  • Yes, julky, many of us really enjoy British humor. And Mp5Drummer, it can be harder to have a successful show in the US because we don't really have state-funded television, so it's all profit driven, and as we all know Rupert Murdoch isn't going to take a hit to put something actually worthwhile on TV (i.e. Futurama, which was on Fox).

  • Damn right. Bring back firefly you bastards

  • yeah in response to julky, Futurama got cancelled because americans didn't "get" it. We loved it in England!

  • babara babara babara babara barararararaaaaa

  • i wonder...

  • why does this play slowerwhen you are drunk

  • I'm also a USAtian, and I love this stuff. However, I think Peep Show is even funnier. But this show has some of the best skits. Numberwang, Angel Summoner and the BMX Bandit, "Are we the baddies?". And of course, Sir Digby.

  • i wonder if americans get this type of humour cos here in england we are known to have an overall better sense of humour than the americans i bet the mojority of americans dont find this funny

  • I'm from the States, and I find it hilarious. Course, I'm also from Massachusetts :>

  • I was certainly never clever enough to understand Benny Hill

  • lmfao :D will ginger be forced to go back on the doll haha awesome :D

  • It's "Will Ginger be forced to go back on the game?", which is significantly more funny :P

  • ok i watched it and it is quite silly

  • My friend just linked me to this and I haven't watched it yet.

  • Best characters, very funny

  • love it

  • "Gets you smashed for under a fiver." Classic!
