i have this phone and honestly it sucks balls the touch screen just went from really good to extreme, unusable, utter crap the touch screen is off by a lot, and if you set it on a table too hard it shuts off and it glitches, lags all the time, and i cant change the fricken lock screen right now my phone is not even usable

personally i love the mythic it is awesome and i dont have a har d time using it but the camera does need some fine tuning but has 8 or 10 ways to take the picture like a sports,portiat,and many more i dont think u really looked through it and i think you should really take the time to look through the phone a little more
The Mythic is a certifiable POS. He didnt mention that the browser locks up after a few seconds, Or how rediculously slow it is. Its blue tooth is glitchy, the screen locking function is tedious. And it goes dead suddenly after showing 3 bars of battery and refusing to take a charge. P.S. the touch screen sucks too.

@riseagainst1616 yeah, you can change the backrounds to your own pics just go to your pictures, select the picture you want to use and on the view picture screen touch the "set as" button at the bottom and then select "wallpaper" and that should do it

I love and respect your reviews, but I have a hard time believing this one. I got the Mythic about a month ago, and it is amazing. The touchscreen (for me) is very responsive and doesn't lag one bit. The camera is FANTASTIC, and the autofocus is quick and accurate. I haven't hada blurry shot yet! Plus, you didn't even touch on how this phone has a 3.5mm headphone jack, a feature that never seems to show up on other at&t "Feature Phones". The battery life is also quite amazing.

I disagree with u, the touch screen is one of the best touch screen fones there is! There are so many new cool things on the Samsung Mythic, that I have never even heard of! Like u can have as much menus as u like! U can text 3 types of ways.

I just got the mythic and I love it, I was between the mythic and the impression and went with the mythic after comparing the two, finding minor differences, and deciding that I just wouldn't use the external keyboard that much.
I would definitely go with the mythic over the solstice, even though the solstice is supposedly faster, I didn't notice much of a difference when I compared it to my mythic. Also, the mythic is basically just an extra-fancy solstice, so it just comes down to price.

A sensitive touch screen isn't always good though. I've played with the iPhone numerous times and it always does not do what I tell it to do. I don't have big fingers, so it isn't as if that is of any problem, and being a detailed artist who can't get an iPhone to do what I want makes of no sense.
Basically it all just depends on the person, so it isn't always good to say the touch screen sucks if it is not sensitive enough.

The facebook widget is just a shortcut icon and you stay logged in with it... The mythic lay out is pretty cool, you have icons(or widgets or whatever u call them) and u can choose what you want on your screen/where you want it. It's not super hi-tech but it does remind you a bit of the iphone. The screen is ridiculously bright and clear
Have you seen the Samsung Solstice? Do you know what the major difference is? I'm not sure which to get...it seems the mythic is slower and has 3 homescreens, is that the only difference?

The resistive touch screen is about the worst that I haveever used, it is extremely laggy, and just unenjoyable, as you have mentioned earlier. The camera is not what I expected out of a high end samsung feature phone, price wise, and I am hoping to return it as soon as possible.

People calm down, it is his opinion, he doesn't like the touch screen. Maybe he got a bugged device. Idk but samsung's touchscreens been good to me I used to have an impression and i liked it. I have an iphone. He might be comparing it to the iphone which has a really good touchscreen.

The facebook widget is just a shortcut icon and you stay logged in with it... The mythic lay out is pretty cool, you have icons(or widgets or whatever u call them) and u can choose what you want on your screen/where you want it. It's not super hi-tech but it does remind you a bit of the iphone. The screen is ridiculously bright and clear

I got the mythic about ten days ago..?
And I absolutely hate it.
The resistive touch screen is about the worst that I haveever used, it is extremely laggy, and just unenjoyable, as you have mentioned earlier. The camera is not what I expected out of a high end samsung feature phone, price wise, and I am hoping to return it as soon as possible.

This guy is terribly at reviewing. While listening to him he sounded like it was personal how much he dogged the touch screen. Dang dude get over it. I'm with the rest of you guys, this guy sucks at reviewing and i put zero stock into anything he says. I have played on a mythic and the touch screen was every bit as responsive as any other resistive touch screen phone i've played with. Ol dude is a complete deuce bag.

the phone is actually really awsome so far for the like 2 hours ive had it its awsome, really simple and easy to get around in most places, music player awsome, already got a ton of music on the 2 gig card i got it and really easy to get to work with my computer, awsome fone!!! love the touch sceen it is a lil laggy but does the job well nice big display great flash almost in complete darkness the pictures come out awsome to

Yes it is good, sense ui is amazing, androids openness +sense ui's beautiful widgets, incredibly superior to touchwiz and i prefer it over the iphone, typed from my htc hero=P
