I've never understood these scenarios. A guy shows up, thumps you, and leaves with "your" girl. Is he kidnapping her? Call the cops! Does she go with him because he could thump you? Stay away from the whore!

It's really a bizarre scenario, more fitted to the Middle Ages or Paleolithic than modern times.
