I really with male drummers could be treated as normal drummers. Not as someone who is amazing when they're not just because they're a boy. Happens every drumline tryout. The girls have to play three times as good just to get a spot.

This solo is great because it's tastefully done and entertaining for drummers, as well as non-drummers. Drum solos aren't always about being strong or weak technically... they -should- always be entertaining though. Taste > Chops for those who actually like music!

Siic one! Very nice you really went for that,

just a very small point when you finish your solo,

communicate to everyone else and bring them back into the original song/groove don't use ure stick clicks just have a small modest fill to bring them straight into it. That way that tasty solo becomes part of the song.
