  • How to insert dynamic dropdwon calender and time.

  • I do not know. Try THE best Excel question site:

  • Thank you for the great tutorials.

I have a question regarding a somewhat similar scenario as this, but instead of eliminating duplicates, I need to group them.

so for example in your table above I want to find Eva& Quad, when there is a match take what ever is in row C (as text) and copy it to one cell, like this: Eva Quad $43,$72,$36, etc.

  • Where does the $43, $72, $36 come from? Or do you mean:

    $43, $12, ...

Do you mean all the values in column C that come from the matching records for Eva & Quad?

  • @ExcelIsFun sorry,

I meant,to look at Eva and consolidate to one or more cell(so I can compare later)

all her sales,as text from the C column.

    Thanks,

  • So you want just Eva's, Mike's sales and take them from Column C and place them in a row?

Or are there two criteria, like Eva and Quad, Exa and Carlota, etc?

  • If it is just EVA try these videos:

  • @ExcelIsFun

I just watched these tutorials you recommended and it is kind of what I'm trying to do but not exactly.

in my case I need to make a new work sheet with the same info as the other, only organized as groups.

once again thank you for all your amazing tutorials and all your help.

  • I still am unclear about what you are trying to do. You can send a YouTube e-mail to me and explain your situation in more detail and I will try to help.

  • @ExcelIsFun

How do I do that(send youtube email), and can I attach an example there?

  • send to excelisfun[at]gmail[dot]com.

  • Great tutorial my friend, but could you not just 'Advance Filter' the entire table and tick the 'Unique Records Only' check box. Please understand that I'm not being critical here, I love these tutorials and would be lost without you, I just wondered if this is also a viable alternative. Many thanks and keep up the great work.

  • No problem. But since we don't want a total unique list, and instead we want to 1st find all duplicates, then from just the duplicates, extract unique records, we can just use a straight advanced fliter unique lis.

  • hi, nice trick!

I am just wondering how did the popup menu show up at about 1:15 of the video, course nothing happened when i try to do like that.

    Thanks!

  • 1) Highlight

    3) Drag and drag back

    4) then the menu pops up

  • @ExcelIsFun

    done! Tanks a lot!

  • You are welcome!
