I still speak this dialect and a Turkish classmate who speaks Macedonian spoke this way to me when I told I was Macedonian; when I was at Western. My baba was Spasa Markovski. Her family left Buf when she was 6 in 1922 to go to Bitola because of everything that was happening. She came to Canada in 1931 to Toronto. She always spoke to me in this dialect and I was raised by her and my Dedo. I was very close to her and she was like a mother to me.
