  • lol i love it how they go on about bit depth in there gear , mate normal cds come out at 16 bit , so im fair sure that good enough for the masses.

  • quanto costa? axx è stupenda

  • wats beat locking?

  • very nice mixer...

  • You did a VERY GOOD job on the demo of this mixer!! Very GOOD!!

  • Will the djm 700 work with 2 cdj 800's mk1? in virtual dj pro or traktor? in that case im interested in buying.

  • AWESOME MATE..

  • I do the same thing with my fingers on the channels!

  • Wow i got to get one of those thanks for the info

  • i have a question...answer me please....can i have the same effect when i use djm 700 and efx 1000.....as djm 800 with efx 1000??

  • omg ... very very nice movie thx

  • after 15:56 it sounds electro-ish!! I like it!! :D

  • What is the beat what he is playin'?

  • Oh, okay :-) Thx

  • hey guys,

if i understand this video right, i'll be able to use the roll effect as sampler... is this right?

  • yes, you're correct, but you can't store those samples. you sample turning on the effect and loose that sample when you turn it off

  • 1:50

    Your famously SHIT talkover microphone.

It kills it FAR to much, It should also be adjustable. Plus the DDM4000 by behringer will dip the audio automatically. The single most annoying thing about pioneer mixers to me.

  • Whats his T-Shirt say?

  • @gavbag1234 WestEnd DJ, and then at the bottom PIONEER.

  • can i use the cdj 400 with macbook?

  • Hi people,

What is called that song on 01:37 ?

I like that song really much!

    Please help me!.

  • the only good thing about this video is the length, 16:20 eh?! eh?! :D

  • nice review, one problem is it me or just HE KEEP SAYING..."we brought this over from the djm-800"??? as far as i know these boys had f*** all to do with the engineering and design. nice neuro linguistic programming try though boys...

  • "nice neuro linguistic programming try though boys... "

wtf??? you must be a right bell-end! Rik Parkinson is Pioneer's product promotion representative, and im sure he had quite a LOT to do with the design of this mixer, as it is HE who meets DJs every week and gets feedback on what people like to see in Pioneer's products. Hows that for neuro linguistics?

  • would i need to buy a second sound card?for pc djing?

  • that filter knob + roll up/down is easy making this machine the choice over the 800. some time i'll afford it, maybe ;P

  • WARNING!!!!WHOEVER BUYS THIS MIXER SHOULD GO TO THE SHOP THAT SELLS IT,AND TAKE ALONG THERE LAPTOP,MIDI INTERFACE,AND HOOK IT ALL UP TO YOUR SOFTWARE OF CHOICE,ie ABLETON.

THERE HAVE BEEN MIDI ISSUES WITH THIS UNIT.

!!!!TRUST ME IM ON MY SECOND !!!!!!!!!!!!!

PIONEER HAVE TAKEN IT OFF THERE PRODJ WEB SITE.!!!!YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!!!!!!!!

DONT PART WITH YOUR CASH UNTIL YOUR SATISFIED

THAT ITS RIGHT FOR THE JOB.

  • suck my left one, i suppose you get a cut of every Xone 92 mixer thats sold....spamming every video like a twat...

  • hi everyone.i bought the 700 a few weeks back, and it had midi problems.i am now on my second djm 700 and still there seems to be issues.

anyone thinking about this mixer should thing of an alternative.

  • What song is this ?....

  • The buttoms on the CDJ-800mk2 doesn't look like the standards. These look a bit darker. Is it buttoms from the CDJ-1000? Is it the same size?

  • it's because it's a cdj-800mk1 :P

  • Argh yearh can see it know :)...

  • HOW EASY WOULD IT BE TO USE WITH ABLETON

  • you need a MIDI interface (which we'll give you buy the mixer from us!) then you just assign the controls on the mixer to the functions on Ableton.

  • Throw in a MIDI interface for nout? I'll take you up on that!!!

  • id rather have an 800..but if someone gave me one of these, i wouldnt moan.

my CDJ1000's another, better 4 chanel mixer between them!

  • i want one!!!!

  • the BIGGEST difference between the 700 and the 800 is that u'll notice the 700 does not have separate filters on each channel(below the EQ's on an 800) but u can assign the filter to one channel...this is the only major difference and to be honest its not that big a deal when it comes to mixing..this is just like a quality 800 but for a cheaper price...i think pioneer have a winner here lads...

  • what is the max bpm for the effects beatlock ???

  • Hi Rik, Thanks for your great reviews. Can you please tell me what the big differences between this and DJM800 really is. What makes the DJM800 justice to its more expensive price compared to this mixer? Both do sound awesome to me though, but i would really like to hear your opinion.

    Thanks,

  • The main differences are that the DJM800 has the 'color' effects section including the harmonic mixing as well as digital inputs. - West End

  • its got everything i need from the 800, plus the freq filter is very nice

  • ide take this over a 800 any day. well done rik and westend.
