your right about fanboys. Favoritism is what caused some of the actual movies to become just wrestling matches. I'd say your movie was great, the only thing I could think of for avoiding fanboy comments would be killing off both. Like having Gamera use his ultimate attack.

I found this great actually sure Godzilla is my favorite hands down but even the champ must lose his title eventually you should make one where the new Godzilla battles Gamera for revenge but fight together against a powerful foe like Keiser Ghidorah or another monster like that

Excellent point about the storytelling, and I might have said this before, but your prequels represent what a Godzilla animated series could be. Simpler stories with minimal humans told in a visual way. I'm sorry if I keep brining this up, but once I upload the Rebooting Godzilla panel from G-Fest, my vehement defense of this idea will become very clear.
