This was the BEST! I got this for my husband for Father's Day, and did it myself! I have zero mechanical knowldedge and did both seats in a few hours. He was really pleased with the results. Thank you, so very much.
Remove seat, remove two (not four) bolts from the motor in question. Pivot it (don't remove) enough to remove cable that connects it to the regulator that moved the seat. Remove metal end on cable. Trim housing approximately 1/8 inch. Replace metal end. Reinstall everything and you're good to go. If the seat is out of adjustment, while the cable is out, place a drill on end of cable to align.
