  • I love it when you walk into the ship...looks like you're walking into the mouth of a giant whale to be eaten.

What a beautiful...um...passage. I guess "boat ride" isn't the proper way to describe it. Doesn't do it justice. I'd love to take that trip one day.

What is the big RED button for at 6:07? Person overboard? It's just so tempting sitting out there like that, begging to be pushed. "Hmmm...I wonder what happens if I push it...what the hell....PUSH. Uh-oh....that's not good. RUN!!"

  • Part 2

At around 4:53, is that Bamfield? I've seen it on tv, and always wanted to go there. If it's NOT, is looks like THAT! lol

My ex-inlaws used to man the lighthouse at Port Hardy.

Wow, the daylight really changes along the way (beautiful day, though!!) How long did the trip take?

  • It probably is Bamfield

it takes 14 hours on the ferry $150 I think

it is a very pleasant way to spend a day

  • (oops too long, so this is now Part 1 lol)

LOL My dog just came running to see who'd arrived, when she heard your voice!

I just started the vid and look forward to it. I've never been up that far on the Island, and always wanted to visit Prince Rupert. In fact, I recently found a search where I could enter my ideal year-round temperatures and PR was one of the best suitable!

  • Prince Rupert was spectacular, wait for the video, the weather was stunning I was "stuck there" for four days, it was wonderful. I may be going back to live on Princess Royal for a while
