this dance has inspired so many of my friends. when body rock used to be called bustagroove.... MAN... shaun still inspires me to this day... and forever. its crazy how much he created
I wonder what was going through Shaun's head when he was making this piece. He inspires me so much to become better... The emotions he shows, the dedication to every move he makes is so defined and detailed.
just to add on too, during class Shaun was talkin about how he was still learning and understanding his body when he made diary. i guess it was weird for him because when he taught he was like "why'd i do that?" when he went on to the next move. Haha
Shaun only asks not to post stuff he hasn't released yet, that's his rule. This piece however is 5 years old so it's fine to post it. Still a really moving piece. :)
@ItsTrickie honestly i don't know, but i know that a lot of people busted out cameras (including a cameraguy from mL) so i got mine out. No one said anything though
@ItsTrickie yeah no one said anything and shaun was okay about it. otherwise he woulda said something in the beginning or at the end. its prolly okay I guess cause its already on youtube 5 years ago. I got a clip of this myself, but i dont think imma put it up. it feels precious lol
@ItsTrickie Shaun lets you record but usually asks you not to post it up... if he didn't say anything though means he didn't mind... When i took his class for "little bit" he asked us not to post it up... but when he taught "to the moon" he didn't say anything... i guess it depends on whether he wants to share it or not and since this choreo is 5 years old (but still dope) he didn't mind...
damn literally one of the classics! nice to see him take the time to remember it and teach it. this was one of the first shaun evaristo pieces i ever saw teehee
@Rillzorr619 Shaun usually takes his time when he teaches and goes into depth with the choreography. but he taught faster. he gives metaphors to help us remember and he usually doesn't want ppl to record. at the very end of class looked like something bothered him. but yeah, it was still a great class
OMG i HELLA HELLLA HELLLA wanted to go this day but i had to work!! i just recently started working so i couldnt get a day off! meeting shaun is still one of my dancing goals and taking atleast one of his class he inspired me to start dancing...thanks for posting this
man. this class was amazing. i can't believe he taught such a great piece. man, his explanation during class helped me understand the piece too. hope shaun was ok after class. he took it a little different that day
