I think you should do the positioning exercises for this etude, by Alfred Cortot. I practised those exercises for two months and now I hardly make many mistakes... it will also help you play faster than the written tempo, 176.
very good effort. When I hear it played at this tempo (slower than most) I really expect the left hand to get the melody in, with lots of color changes. I realize this is a "study" in arpeggios, nevertheless it's still Chopin. And somewhere there is the lyric quality--in this playing I miss hearing it sing or maybe it's just my ears. All in all though, the effort is good,. The piece is difficult. I think listening to what you are playing while you play is key here. Keep at it.
Well done (to say the least.) It may not be perfect, but it's a damn sight better than I could manage!! (Those writing belly-aching comments should remember this.)
Josh Wright came up with some tips on note accuracy. He says he tries to imagine a pin going throught the middle of his finger and landing right in the middle of the key. He also imagines the keys are bigger than they are. Paul Barton is a good pianist, so you already have some good instruction. I know you wanted to show your attempt at proper speed, but, I think you should practice slower making sure your accuracy is right on and the notes are sounding fully and properly. Practice loud and soft
You almost have the tempo but many many mistakes. theres something fundamentally wrong in your technique. You can see the correct fingerwork best in the video of valentine lisista.
And your missing way too many videos of yourself playing to back up your put-downs of other peoples performances. Ive been playing for 11 years now, if I see i vid of someone who's not quite as advanced as myself, Bragging and putting them down is the LAST thing I'd do.
I wasn't putting anyone down. I was rather complimenting him. What is wrong with telling someone that they have a nice passion for a piece and need to work on it a bit more? You seem like an angry person who is not interested in honest comments.
nice hands

Good effort!
-- One noticeable thing (because of the camera angle) is you might try connecting your octaves using the 3/4/5/fingers where appropriate.
For obvioius reasons it's easy to neglect the left hand in this Etude, but I enjoy playing it very much.
Keep up the good work!

You are sitting way too far from the pianino. And your right hand thumb is too low down. Other that nice interpretion.

This tempo is evidently too speed for you.
Practice with a very slow tempo and then a little bit faster.
Put your piano in tune too ;-)

Keep on trying. It still needs quite a bit of work. You're missing way too many notes. But you have a nice passion for the piece.
