  • that beautiful zimaitis, damn.

  • Metalica was inspired by Queen to start music , huh?

    that's cool

  • Yeah. Its one of the bands that influenced them.

  • not really , sure it was Queen , Black Sabbath , Motorhead , Iron Maiden , Angel Witch...etc.

  • i thought it was ozzy oz bourne

  • Don't forget Diamond Head!

  • misfits,anti nowhere league, bob seger,blue oyster cult,mercyful fate,more etc..

  • burton's influences: zz top, johan sebastian bach....

  • early queen stuff is really heavy, u can see how thrash came from it

  • @foofighters4eav funny thing is you can hear so many of queens elements in metal from the 80s on up

  • yeah apparently stone cold crazy was the first thrash metal song well thats what wikipedia says anyway

  • Wiki can be edited by anyone mate. I could go on the site and type "the first thrash song was by Britteny Spears" it's not a trustworthy site.

  • yeah i can see what you mean but i can see why some one would put that stone cold crazy was the first thrash song i mean it makes sense

  • Yes, it seems to be. It sounds very original, it was writen in 1973 by Brian May from Sheer Heart Attack album. Another Brian May song that is an amazing rock is Tie Your Mother Down from A day at the races.

  • No,was written by Freddie in 1968.

  • Hey, in the Sheer heart Attack album it's written that Brian, Freddie, John and Roger composed that. Where did you read the song is from 1968? Thanks for your comment.

  • @kdinhoguitarra

Was written by freddie for wreckage (or ibex) in 1968... in fact "stone cold crazy was the first song played live by Queen" in 1970.

later they recorded it for her sheer heart attack album,as they weren`t remembering who (member of wreckage) there was written the song, they credited the song to "Queen".

i will send you the sources for message here...

    greetings!

  • @FMERQRY always thought it was written by brian may?

  • Wikipedia is right!

  • @teddyqueen Is that so wierd? I mean the only band which have been greater than Queen is The Beatles. :)

  • @teddyqueen everyone should be inspired by queen! :)
