Man, most of the ilegal logging, farming and animal husbandry activities in brazilian amazon forest are financied by foreign corporations, our wood and beef are produced in the south and west areas of the country mostly =/ If other nations really want to stop deforestation it would be doing something about those companies that buys from ilegal sources.

About the government projects in area I must confess that they are not very healthy for the forest, but people live there too =/
