  • YOU FFFFFFFUCKEN...BITCH!!!!!

  • Sign my centrefold!!!!

  • Francis engraves himself in the history of cinema, by accident or choice?

  • Why would you put lyrics on that?

  • Full-breasted actress in the Indian/squaw costume playing the Playmate dancer is a young, ultra-sexy and magnificently well-endowed, bosomy, busty Colleen Camp circa 1976 when this scene was shot. An underrated actress who never became a household name but has been in countless movies and tv shows like Wayne's World, The Swinging Cheerleaders, Police Academy 2, and played the voluptuous, busty, devious, magnificently large-breasted deep cleavage French maid Yvette in Clue.

  • these gorgeous dancing whores are way hotter than any porno

  • In the MIECONG DELTA during the VN war Jeez what if one of those soldiers grabbed a girls butts or boob?? THEN WHAT? WHERE`S THE OVER SIGHT???? ahahahahahahah

  • This is not correct! The song is performed by Flash Cadillac And The Continental Kids!!!! They recorded it it in a studio then lip synched it for the film!!! Francis Ford used them in this movie since he worked with them in American Graffitti!!!

  • Movie is so trippy. Fantastic.

  • Makes me wanna join the army.

  • Probably the best war movie scene ever

  • terrible quality here

  • coppola in his prime was a god

  • No dancing playmates unfortunately, but check my channel for another "Suzie" song I just posted on my channel. Good, slow-burn blues. And by the way...never get off the boat...unless you're going ALL THE WAY!!!

  • hey guys.. go vote for your favorite playmate at clubmateagenda website

  • Forture and Tortune

  • i wouldve gone nuts

  • Every time I hear this song I think of these scene.

  • oh suzie q

  • The razor sales soared like nobodies business. The troops were shaving their palms.... left and right.

  • Does anyone else see the giant bullets on the edge of the stadium as resembling erect penises?

  • This is such an amazing scene.

When my dad saw this masterpiece for the first time he was I was with him and he said something like this: "I know it's supposed to be fiction but that's what they used to do at USO shows... and it usually ended up pretty much the same way with kids pumped up on adrenaline and neglected hormones fighting it out. That's when the MP's came in and swatted their night sticks all over the place"

  • ROSETTA WEST "UNDERGROUND"

  • The USO shows pretty much suck now....I was in the wrong war man

  • The Vietnam war definitely had the best music.

  • Love Bill Graham as the MC!!

  • Loversin the my life USA

  • money for nothig, dire straits!

  • Charlie didn't get much USO. His idea of great R&R was cold rice and a little rat meat. He had only two ways home - death, or victory.

  • @johngalt23g Now that I think about it, would actually make sense if he meant "Charlie Sheen" instead of "Charlie"

  • @johngalt23g and they won.

  • @johngalt23g No wonder Kurtz put a weed up commands ass. the war was being run by a bunch of four star clowns that were gonna give the whole circus away.

BEST MOVIE EVER. By far one of my all time favortie movies behind Platton which is still my # 1 fav.

  • Didn't dig the captions

  • APOCALYPSE! HORSEMAN RIDE! HEAR THE THUNDER! EXPLOSION!

  • iwas there.when iwas an extra being a soldier, u can see me.in the back of the upper stages.i wear a white t.shirt.a tiny teenager.this scene taken in the Philippines.december 1,1976. kamusta na kayo?

  • @marilou350 Wow !thats a cool claim to fame..one of the most adored movies of all time for a whole generation of young men.

I dont suppose you get any to go to reunion parties for the cast and crew considering the enduring popularity ( and DVD sales) of this epic?

  • i was there.when iwas 16 yrs old

  • @marilou350 Were Oo

  • Great movie. These days, though, it's hard to buy Sheen as the only soldier who can keep his cool under these scantily clad circumstances.

  • Like the opening to The Lone Ranger, or certain Bugs Bunny Cartoons, once the song is in your head in this context you'll always "see" the scene....

  • whos the chick in the indian outfit?

  • Ah this movie plays every other friday on base haha we always get pumped up on the helicopter attack scene.

  • surprised they wont jerking off

  • its the real bill graham.

  • BILL GRAHAM. PROMOTER IS IN THIS SCENE.

  • @leedumett444 Is the person in the movie Bill Graham, or is this an actor portraying Bill Graham?

  • I'm here, baby! I'm here! The girl in the General Custer get-up is HOT!

  • I'm here, baby! I'm here! The chick in the General Custer get-up is HOT!

  • We just had the Kings cheerleaders here in the ME, and instead of Charlie in the background We had the TCN's.

  • I'm here baby! I'M HERE!!

  • The song was originally by Dale Hawkins, but the group performing Suzy Q here is Flash Cadillac and the Continental Kids - the same band that was the high school dance band in American Graffiti. They got very little screen time - and mostly just their backs - in Apocalypse as opposed to Graffiti. Their Zoetrope Films connection got them the gig. Interesting story about it on their website.

  • I'm here baby ! Great scene with a big impact.

  • If you had been in Nam, you would smile at this.

  • @radarman818 Actually, any deployment w/o anything resembling a female would've resulted in this scene.

  • So dumb. Why do you have to add subtitles. I hate you.

  • Chef...such a perverted bastard hahahaa

  • Combat Jack

  • bitches!!!!

  • Good hold stuff but never more...

  • Did anything like this even ever happen? Just seem Oliver Stone hates the military and always paints them as animals. I mean look at full metal jacket.

  • @pilottim79 oliver stone did not make this movie, francis ford coppola made it

  • @pilottim79 Oliver Stone? He wrote neither Apocalypse Now nor FMJ.

Also, what's wrong with portraying GIs like that? It's true, people on the war lose themselves, and unleash their primal instincts(that sounded corny, but i don't know how else to say it).

  • @pilottim79 Son, I'll tell you what. You go for a full year without anything resembling pussy within smelling distance, nothing but letters from home, 12-16 hour work days in the toilet and add high stress to the mix and you tell me that the first time you see WOMAN you ain't gonna be thinking HOW you can relieve your overloadeded balls into her? I mean, after that year, if you saw a lady who fell off the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down, she'd be Miss Goddess to your dick!

  • the end of this scene reminds me of drones trying to mate the queen bee.

    what a great movie!

  • Is it Kerri or Terri Foster.

  • Fuck, poor soldiers aha, Must of felt like torture.

  • Shit those playmates can ride my M-16 all they wanted. Fuck Yea!

  • I remember the American Forces Radio pleyed We are American band -Grand Funk at 12 :00Am one night right after American Anthem. That was powerful. It was in Viet Nam.

  • I'd been Viet Nam a year after TET I can tolally understand what the GI felt in those days. The power is how they organized the show. Even today the Commit can't understand the simple minded GI had brought so much joy to this world. 大陸人沒有Boomer , 不能体会40年前美国人是如此劳军的

  • which circle of hell is this..?

  • the last one.

  • the song in the video is actually performed by Flash Cadillac. it was originally written and performed by Dale Hawkins, but the version in Apocalypse Now is by FC, as noted in the credits (at least in the Redux version)

  • Génial, une des plus belle séquence de l ' histoire du cinema et du rock ...

In English : Great ! ..Lol.

  • FUCKING TORTUNE FOR THE SOLDIERS

  • @badtrip45

No harder than when Linda Ronstadt played at Tennessee jail

  • @badtrip45 did you mean Fortune or Torture? both words could fit :-)

  • Charlie didn't get much USO, he was in too deep and moving too fast.

  • That's what she said.

  • Chaos strikes when the soldiers actually want to touch the dream they're chasing...

  • This scene is great. Both sexy and violent. A very strong scene.

  • @julienbencze Francis F Coppola is a master of cinema. The one thing about this movie that I like is that every scene is memorable: the chopper attack on the village, the meeting with Col. Kurtz, the attack of the tiger in the jungle. Never a dull moment. I can't believe there's a director's cut. It's two and a half hours long!

  • cor dont know about humperty ,,,more like humpy the grumpy as hes had no humpy pumpy ,,,,, or rumpy ,,sorry im drinking wine georgie porgie pudden and pie only joking,,,,,NOT ,,ITS ABOUT THE SONG NOT HISTORY ,,GO AND WRITE AN ESSAY ON ALTRUISM PMSL

  • 2:25 Lance trippin'...

  • Cyndi Wood Playmate of 1973 On Flickr

  • so did you find... ? I am looking for it for almost two years... all I know is just a guy Randy Hansen.

  • beats a visit from Bob Hope!

  • you can check this out in your usa history books, you lost, did you know it? no? read a little history or take a camera and your barbies going on nightmare war so maybe this way you are going to goal the 1 % of this movie, do you dare rupaul?

  • GeorgeHumperty

All this from a guy that lives in a country where the drug cartels are the government and they can't feed their people so they sneak over the border and work in the US.

    What a loser!!

  • yes like the usa people's many mistakes in this war

  • Like you know what you're talking about, Humperty. Who the turd is named Humperty anyway? Read a little history and come back when you have something meaningful to say.

  • there are many mistakes in this movie

  • Glad you noticed. It's fiction anyway, not a true story.

  • i'd eat the peanuts out of er shit...shes so hot

  • you have seen full matel jacket to much ~!

  • Cynthia Wood where are they now (per wikipedia): While her role in the original 1979 release of the film was very brief, it was greatly expanded for the "Redux" re-release in 2001. She has also kept up her love of music and singing, and served as Casting Agent for the director Michael Lesner. Eventually she pursued a Ph.D. in psychology with the goal of helping emotionally disturbed children.

  • Vietnam was the beginning of the end. The end of the end is now.

  • Nope. Vietnam was the fight against communism and the spread of consumerism and the American way (of war). Now it is the fight against Islamist faction and the spread of Muslim Sharia states. You could make a film like Apocalypse now about Iraq but not Afgahnistan.

  • What I meant Mr. Jools is the dollar is on the brink of crashing. So I am guessing the you are a war monger but only for the wars you find "just". And as only a Nancy Pelosi fan could have this type of ideological non-logic, I have therefore concluded that you are a left wing Democrat. Which... is ok for some I guess.

  • HA... Joe.

  • Whats the name of the lady with the cowboy hat on?

  • Cynthia Wood, 1974 Playmate of the Year

  • The short haired blonde standing on top of the helicopter is Cynthia Wood?

  • @cescymat Cynthia Wood never ever looked better than she did in this scene. She's considerably thinner here than she was in either of her Playmate shoots. I sure understand why Clean went bonkers. That made me the cutest bum I'm ever seen, and she sure knew how to move it.

  • Yes, and nobody else!

  • Cynthia Wood..........WHAT A KNOCK OUT!!

  • Excellent!! Great movie!!

  • "Charlie didn't get much USO..he was dug in to deep or moving to fast. His idea of R n' R was cold rice and a little rat meat. He had only two ways home..death..or victory"

  • fUCKING TRUTH jOE!

  • I was going out with the main playgirl when she made this film, we split after she did this dance. I have rules...........

  • i am here baby i am here lol!

  • whats the title of a guitar melody that starts at 4:06 ??

  • Captain Coconut - Jimi Hendrix

  • covered by flash cadillac

  • I would be happy if this is correct... although its not. Its not Captain Coco nor flash cadillac.. :(

  • sure its not Coconut nor any Malibu.... its Randy Hansen... well but this song is just unavaliable

  • Is that who sang it? I been looking for this version. Was it a eurovision enrty?

  • gorjus ??? dork!

    ps

    what's with the subtitles?

  • Hawkins, Lewis, and Broadwater wrote the song. The version used in the movie was performed by Flash Cadillac, whose members can be seen in some shots (they're on each side of the helicopter's landing spot, behind the circle on the stage). They also performed at the dance in "American Graffiti," which Coppola produced. Guitarist Randy Hansen (not a group member) came up with some great atmospheric stuff at the end of the clip. The lyric captions are distracting. Otherwise, an incredible clip.

  • I like three chords intro, this cover follows rather CCR sound/arrangement than Dale Hawkins 'rockabilly' original.

  • MY WORD IS POONTANG

  • Charlie didn't get much R&R. Love this clip. Howie 1st Cav 1/7th 1969

  • woohoo :D

  • I love Randy Hansons guitar work and the end of this clip. Hes the best Jimi act i have ever heard. Funny thing.. hes from Seattle as well. Jimi Hendrix style playing guitar when the Yell...Go get the Roach Nigga!

  • FABOLOUS!

  • can't you make the on-screen title/lyrics a bit smaller?

  • looks like someone discovered how to make titles...

  • TY for posting this I love that cowgirl and her dance super Hot!

  • thanks

    grooooovie
