i 14 too and our kategory is the EvR the kf3 but if you going to start now and you haven't enough money, the best is to star shifter... it's the best... because if you take the kf3 and after you want to go to the kz2 (shifter) you will spend money!!! if you want to start now i must tell you that if you haven't any idea..., if you haven't the talent, don't do it because you will spend your money... alone the people who have a lot of money can sarvive in this sport... i hope that will help you!!!!

@THEYELLOWDARTkyle well the parts are over priced and theres only 2 tube kart manufactuers in italy so its all the same but chassis breaks so easy and the brakes are useless but crg is alot cheaper and is more durable,, the brakes are better and easier to maintain because its a 2 pot not 4 and parts are cheaper

Maranello are made by CRG. Therefore, they are slow. Every CRG I've ever driven has pretty much sucked. The only think decent about CRG's is their brakes which are still not as good as Tony kart's brakes

No your totally wrong, their made by CRG to Maranello specs so there not slow, and it also depends what country your in kart tracks arent all the same, here in NZ maranello are the dominant chassis and the chassis of choice for most of the kz2 drivers.

True, but some suit people better than others, after testing most chassis, (Tony CRG, Zanardi, Truli, Bisse, BRM, Swiss, Gillard, Wright, Alonso, Kosmic) I personally like some that others call shit, for example I'd use a Bisse over a BRM anyday, but others would call me insane. It's all about personal choice, how you feel in the chassis.

Having said all that I prefer a Tony to anything else, but you've got to try them to know

wat a load of bollox!!!!!!!!!! i admit tonykarts are very good karts but there baddly OVERPRICED!!! look at that new Storm Chassis, lads are using it in rotax and setting lap records and its less than half the price of a tonykart. p.s.: i dont run a Storm because personally i think they look shit. Please! Only good for 4 cycle racing. Drive a european kart and you'll never go back to an American chassis. There's a lot more money in european karting so they have more money to test and design superior karts. I used to drive an Emmick for years in both 4 and 2 cycle. I finally bought a Tony kart and the difference was like night and day. The first thing is that I wasn't fighting the kart all the time to make speed.
