Hey im thinking of getting one of these big boys for my next dog when i move out. Are they super high maintenance? other than feeding and cleaning up crap. I do alot in the mountains on horses and hiking would they be any good for this if trained? I need a dog thats tough and can take lots of exercise

It is so nice to see a Neoplitan Mastiff at a healthy weight! I commend you on that! Too many people think bigger is better with all breeds, and it results in unhealthy dogs. I also see people do it with German shepherd, Rottweiler, etc. Again, Beautiful dog you have there! I think it's one of the best Neo mastiff i have seen yet!

I had a mastif when I was a kid and I grew up beside him. He was like my older brother. He was always acting like a family member, like a human not a dog, he's incredibly smart, caring and loving. I remember how I used to read to him when I learned all the letters and how he'll look at me like he understands it all...I really miss him! I would give everything just to have him back.
My parents had to put him to sleep because he was in pain and he couldn't walk anymore. I'll never forget you Kan<3
