  • Just FYI, those brownies are mostly sugar. You could probably make up a mix yourself that would be a lot better for you. You can use the recipe calculator at SparkPeople, com to help you figure out the nutrition information for your own recipes.

I absolutely love that website, it's a big help and super easy to use. I know it's hard for me sometimes to figure out how many calories are in certain homemade recipes, so this breaks it down for you.

  • @valleygirl19881 thats strange because i have the box right here and they actually dont have a gram of sugar FYI Im sure you make any recipe yourself and it would be way healthier but since i was requested to share what i eat(and since i eat these) this is what i shared, thanks for the info about the site.

  • so judging by what you said if your 5'8 and weight 117 your BMI is 17.8 and you are considered underweight.

  • @shootingstars0112 bmi standards arent always right and I actually know a lot of fit and muscular people that are considered overweight because of the bmi chart. They really need to re-evaluate the bmi chart because its very misleading!

  • Just a friendly suggestion- watch out for the soy products- first, they have natural estrogens- and they can alter your own hormone balance and effect everything- even your metabolic rate causing weight issues close to those who binge- all of sudden you will gain! but most of important- they raise, yes soy isolates, your CANCER risk by 60% for breast and cervical cancer- look at Sloan Kettering cancer lists to see proof of this.

  • Check out powdered peanut butter like PB2. It even comes in chocolate. You mix it with water and it has less calories and fat than normal peanut butter.

  • @JHVH1 I had no idea thanks for sharing!

  • i thought this was super helpful! I'm 5'8 as well and i also weigh 160 so i feel like this really reaches out to me as well! thanks!

  • @natashafortified thank you for watching, glad it was helpful!! xoxox

  • lol y was my comment removed i was on your side :(

  • @comeatmebro642 sorry..If it was a reply to something nasty i removed it so it wouldnt be confusing! I appreciate the support thank you so much!

  • great vid! Thanks

  • thinking of deleting this video...I created it to be helpful since so many had asked but it seams to be getting a lot of negativity. I remember when I first posted it and it reached 100 views and I was so excited! Thank you to my supporters!

  • @SparklicityNo6 awesome video! helped lots, thanks so much :)

  • @SparklicityNo6 i thought it was helpful! Infact I ordered the No Pudge Fudge Brownie mix, and I cannot wait to try it. :D. I guess it is hard to deal with negativity, try not to let it bring you down

  • @SparklicityNo6 I know what you mean. The thing about me is that I can't eat completely "clean" because I'm poor. When I say poor, I mean pretty damn poor. I used to eat food from dollar tree, but since deciding to lose weight I have not been able to pay rent as well because I'm spending more money on diet food. I'm in school and trying to get out of poverty, but for now I can't buy all of the organic stuff. I've lost 35 pounds so far and feel amazing. Keep it up chicka, don't listen to them.

  • @1950steapot If she were stupid (which she's not) you think that's awesome/funny? shows a lot about your character.

  • To all those who are insulting her for her choice of food products and discussing the whole food/excercise thing...it's all about calorie input/output...however much energy you exert would need to be greater than how much "energy" you are consuming foodwise. It doesn't matter if you're not exercising IF you are taking in way fewer calories. If the amout of calories you're burning is still considerably greater than the amount of calories you're eating you will still lose weight.

  • Everyone relax... these foods are better than what you would normally want to eat, and if she saw results, who are you to judge?

  • Can we see a before and after??

  • Lol am i the only one whos never herd of Fresh and Easy??

  • Mmmm Green and Black's! I approve!

  • umm so potatoes are vegetables which means all "chips" are made from vegetables. just wanted to point that out lol.

  • lol im not even american and they dont sell any of that stuff over here but i couldnt help but watch your whole video:')

  • Thank you for your video and congratulations on the weight loss.

  • This is a really helpful video, I cant wait to try those brownies!

  • fat free doesn't mean sugar free....

  • and you say you are 5' 8" then you should way 140lbs that is a healthy weight because after 5 feet you are supposet to add 5 pounds to every inch after 5 feet this is what the doctor say and take away 5 pounds for each inch you are below 5 feet NO OFFENSE INTENDED JUST TRYING TO BE HELPFUL

  • Chips but vegtables instead? chips are made outta potatoes, lasttimes i checked theyre vegtables.

  • holy shit! my doc prescribed prenatal vitamins for me too and i have pain issues... what do you recommend for workouts, did you work out to lose the 50 pounds??? I wana lose 50 pounds :):)

  • What most people get wrong is that fat is NOT the enemy, simple carbohydrates and "drinking your calories" is the number 1 reason people get fat. Simple carbohydrates include, the no.1 most simple is sugar, no.2 is white flour, and spaghetti/potatoes (especially processed, packaged and deep fried). Healthy fats are very important in our diet ones in olives, nuts, avocados and many more! "Good" carbohydrates are brown rice, legumes, lentils, vegetables, steam rolled oats, non processed oats.

  • sooo amazing! im on a weightloss journey too! wish me luck!

  • congrats on losing weight i lost about 50 too and i'm kinda at a steady point and i really needed tips to keep going

  • You're making me hungry..

  • @mrjacobvyork

    lol same here!!

  • Not everything that's fat free is healthy or healthier. Loads of food products that claim they're fat free just add tons of sugar and sweetener to get the right flavour, since fat is the flavour in all food products. In reality the best way to lose weight is eat the right amount of calories a day and exercise.

  • I love this! Thanks <3

  • @prettylonghair89 I thought the same thing! lol I'm in Texas, and I haven't come across any of those brands. maybe they can be purchased online.

  • Flavoured milk drinks are the worst. They're really popular in my state/area and come in 600mL cartons. A whopping 500cal per carton!!!! I use 1% fat skim milk now and mix in some Nesquik (powdered milk flavouring) and it's sooo much better for me!

  • can you heat any kind of dark chocolate ^.^

  • Brownies,Brownies,Brownies

  • Chips are made from vegetables .....

  • @mecastrawberry Chips are made from potatoes. and they're put in oil and stuff. a potato is not a vegetable.

  • Btw please watch my weightloss vlog, I'm trying to lose 100lbs in a year, please subscribe and support me. I will be posting my progress month by month as well as my diet and exercise routine.

  • Good tips, except a few of the things you showed are very high in sugar. Be careful, some foods disguised as "healthy food" are packed with sugar, like the protein drinks.

  • I love veggie chips :D

  • You should have 3-5 servings of fat a day! It's good for your brain.

  • YOU look awesome hon!! Loved the video it sows us all good examples of healthier snacks.

  • you sound like Kaitlyn from teen mom 2 :p

  • yeah i can't take my vitamins unless i eat first. if i take them on an empty stomach i'm sure to feel sick.

  • @cats32dogs that's actually not true.. fruit cups are good for you... and those are the no sugar added mandarin slices from doles in pear juice with no added sugar.

and she was just showing us the packaged things she eats.. a fruit cup snack on the go is a lot more healthy then a candy bar..

&its not CANNED so there is no heat process going on there, thus no vitamins being lost. the thin plastic thing its in wouldn't take well to heat.

a little common sense goes a long way.

  • this is weird, the only thing i KNOW from what you showed is the mandarin cup.. dole fruit..

where on earth do you live? i live in nyc and i never came across a single brand you have mentioned.. seriously.. weird.

  • those chai tea drinks are sooo good...

  • @cats32dogs Not true, the enzymes that you loose from cooking/processing fruits/vegetables are plant enzymes, they're good for plants, humans can't use them. Also cooked vegetables provide your body with easier access to their nutrients as cooking is essentially the beginning of digestion.

  • @ErichEOD

on top cooked vegetables are better digestable. The only occasion when they can be eaten raw is when they are fermented. Those are actually even better to access for the body then even properly cooked food is, also fermenting rids vegetables or fruits from any anti-nutrients they may contain. As for the rest, even if blanched, but u should always cook ur food thats true definitely.

  • if you really wanna take the plantains to another level... buy the whole plantains, cut them in about inch pieces (with the peel on) and boil them.. SUPER delicious.

  • Soymilk is AMAZING!! I tried it last summer and I love it.

  • U r really skinny!

  • omg your rlly prettyy

  • pretty hair!!

  • 50 pounds! Good for you!!

  • I would watch sugar intake b4 healthy fat intake. Those soy drinks are soooo high in sugar :-( I do like some of your other recommendations. Try probiotics for your stomach. Get away from grains for your arthritis and IBS. Check out Paelo Diet from the Library for more info.

  • my jaw dropped when it said u r 5ft 8in tall and u weigh 115lbs

    i am 4ft 8in tall and i weigh 125lbs

i must be fat-ohh well...awesome video though it really helped (:

  • Does hot sauce really help your metabolism ?

  • i lost fifty pounds too, congratulations.

  • i once heard that there are at least 8 insects in one candy bar that helped me haha i like the peanut butter and celery idea sounds yummy!!

  • LOL "You can put them in your cupboard and they're good for, like, YEARS" I drink soy milk too and although I'm pretty sure it's more like "months" I totally know what you meant! Excellent perk about soy milk and I totally love you for putting that bit in the video!!

  • EAT my dick

  • This is really inspirational! great video.

  • HOW LONG DID IT TAKE YOU TO LOSE THAT WEIGHT

  • When you eat those vitamins, swallow them with milk instead of water, it works for me, i don't know why.

  • This is very helpful. I'm posting progress videos now and am hoping to lose 15 pounds over the next 6 weeks through diet and exercise. - I definitely agree with the principal of replacing unhealthy food with healthier ones. I CAN'T starve myself :) - i can't even get through an hour without eating something, so it makes sense to find a way to be full as much as possible, ESPECIALLY if you'r on a diet. Thanks!

  • How do I get from 110 pounds to 100?

  • what's a watermelon?

  • Lol.. you're previous weight is nearly perfect for me, and I'm 5'8. IfI was as skinny as you, I have a feeling I'd be nothing more than bones.. but it looks like you have a really small bone structure.. I have a large one :s. I don't know why that really matters. Just felt like saying it.

  • Hey Natalie, I have the EXACT same problems w/my stomach when I take vitamins. My GI doctor clued me in on the key tho, take CHEWABLE vitamins. It made all the difference and I can take them every day! I buy prenatal gummies & omega gummies @ Target. I thought I could never take vitamins, but I was wrong! Hope this helps you like it did for me :-)

  • @BrownEyedTexan4169 Thanks for sharing! xo

  • im glad u posted this i really like vege chips but i thnk im gunna try and find out how to make em myself to save money and have more of em. congrats on your healthy weight loss

  • I went to buy the prenatal vitamins at the store, I'm 15, and the check out guy gave me such judgmental look xD

  • What is your exercise routine?

  • I thought bananas and plantains were totally different..

  • I LOVE the no pudge brownies!

  • what would you eat with the salsa

  • @LittleMisLuvbugCutie Maybe you can try out the veggie chips =]

  • How does the natural chocolate PB that you bought taste? I've tried so many different PBs mixed with honey and chocolate or ones that are like almond butter... and none of them taste good. So now I just hang back from buying them... but if that one you suggested tastes similar to say... nutella (yum!! is this setting the bar too high though?) then I think I'd give it a shot. Maybe anything natural tasting like nutella is a pipedream :[

  • Great tips! Don't you just love it when your clothes and jeans are baggy on you and they don't fit anymore!?! (:

  • (: i dont like chocolate so i got that going for me.

  • eating healthy fats is GOOD for you ! and actually promotes weight loss. indigenous people of pacific islands, their diet is 60% coconut oil, and our brain is made up of fat! when i took healthy fats out of my diet i completely could not concentrate and had a foggy brain all the time. im not saying eat trans fats, stay away from those! im saying eating avocados, extra-virgin olive oil, coconut oil, and nuts is completely good and healthy for you ! it promotes weight loss !

  • thanks ;)

  • thanks for your answer i really appreciated but help me to find more of your videos

  • im happy with my cheesecake

  • I think I'm inlove

  • yay I have the same ring as you, the big blue one <3 . This video was very helpful, thanks! :)

  • Did you know that Celery is BAD for you?Don't belive me?Look it up.

  • i know you did not just say you dont like bannanas you are joking right ????????????????\

  • Did you know that neufatchel cheese is lighter than cream cheese? Great alternative for recipes w/ cream cheese, and just as yummy!

  • I don't like soda but it sucks how soda is so cheap but the odwalla and the other healthy drinks are so expensive :/

  • @BrutalBrittany18 I know, but you could try mixing seltzer water with fruit juice or even sugar free syrups and make your own! I like mixing cherry and citrus.

  • @nc08638 When shopping, I just keep in mind that by not buying chips and sodas, it evens out the costs of fruits and veggies :) So in the long run, it replaces the bad and keeps my body healthy. :)

  • I have no idea how I found your video but I'm happy I did. You look like such a happy person! I'm going to try some of your tips! I need to lose over a hundred pounds and I have such a sweet tooth that it always ruins my attempts at healthy eating, so I love that you show how you can still have sweats!

  • where is your pics when you were fat? it is a scam?

  • @MsCony79 have u watched any other video? I have a before picture at the end of my arm workout video and also on my facebook for everyone to see. Thanks for watching and have a beautiful day.

  • id love to hear more about your weightloss journey <3

  • I think it's great that you're sharing you're story, but if you're 5'8, and weigh 114-117, then you're underweight.

  • I also have the joint and back condition.. What all do u do to help that., im miserable

  • omg thank you! finally a video that's actually helpful. i watched your video a few months ago and i've followed your tips. i've lost weight and actually kept it off.

  • if I ate those things I would gain weight :(

  • that seems like A LOT of peanut butter for someone trying to lose weight...

  • How long did it take you to loose the pounds? Because I dont need to loose 50 just like 15.

  • Your hair is to die for

  • how long did it take you

  • haha hot salsa lol btw gongrats on keeping off the weight ps how mutch do you think all that would cost

  • This was a great video. I have RA also, I'm 22 and have been trying to lose this weight that I put on due to the RA. Did having your baby make your joints flare?? or while being pregnant?

  • She likes black men.

  • im going to start eating organic and shopping at fresh and easy more it seems so much healthier & im tired of starving it BARLEY works and it hurt:( so thank you your the most helpfull video ive seen ALL DAY :)

  • Oh my gosh! When you said you have Rheumatoid Arthritis my face lit up because I have it too! So what I wanted to ask you is: Does that Emergen-C joint health really help with your joints? Does it help the pain and stiffness? Because if so, that would be a really good thing for me to get!

  • Great. I'm severely allergic to nuts and most fresh market places are scattered them. I don't eat cake or brownies because I'm allergic to eggs. How am I to lose weight exactly????

  • Oh weird you posted this on my birthday.

  • how long did it take you to loose the weight? :)

  • Okay I want to lose 30 pounds by the summer... What should I do? I'm a teen so my parents buy the food. I already play a sport 5 days a week. So I eat a ot more then my friend who doesn't play sports. Sinc I burn calories faster. However when on the run I grab last minute food normal junky and some other chocolate since it's normal right after school so I don't get to make it home.

What should I get for food or more exercize?

  • I don't know what a watermelon is :(

  • @Boofyyy google it

  • You fat ass !

  • @CoonsterVideos Aw you shouldn`t call yourself a fatass, you need to love yourself

  • i have a mean/funny joke to tell,

whats a whores favorite chip brand?

    Lays!

  • @Anime1Anastasia LOL that was good

  • its great that you also promote the organics! right on

  • Plantain chips kinda taste like Fritos?! I must try these...

  • Than you keep sharing!!!! please I need ideas on sweet substitutes!

  • Hi! <3 do you think if i played a sport I could lose 20 pounds? message me! :D thank you.

  • @LaurenLafaive you could..but are you going to play the sport for the rest of your life? to keep the weight off it needs to be a lifestyle change as well, try a workout routine you can stick to or jogging!

  • @LaurenLafaive yea u will i played football for 1 year and i lost 30 pounds in 6 months

its not hard to loose weight its hard to keep it off

  • Lol, I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN ABOUT FROSTING!!!! Hehe, it used to be my sugar drug too. Oh gosh, I would sneak that stuff because my parents were always trying to help me lose weight :P I'd be in paradise while eating it but then I'd feel really bad about it afterwards because I WANTED to lose weight. Now that I'm older, I've mastered the self disciplene and haven't had any for years (in a spoon at least). Whenever I see creamcheese or white frosting though, I still get that tiny urge to eat it ^_^

  • How long did it take? Or did you mention it?

  • i see ur dog in the background! cute :)

  • 5:04, eating healthy. taste really good and salty.

  • your so young to have RA wow good for you this is amazing that u can do all that subsatuting

  • so based on this video, i can tell you married a black dude lke myself :)

  • So happy to hear people's stories, thanks for sharing yours. :-) I am a Holistic Health Coach and I actually help people lose weight, gain balance, get happy etc. I believe everyone's body is different and people have different needs. Also, if you are interested I have a free book on my website (provided by my school) called "Integrative Nutrition" by Joshua Rosenthal which is also a great read. I have a video about it on my channel with my website link. Have a peaceful and happy day. :-)

  • @WholeMindedWellness thank you for sharing!

  • @SparklicityNo6 No problem. :-)

  • Well done! I think it's great that you've managed to lose weight in such a healthy way. Over what period of time was the weight loss? One thing I really struggle with is patience.

  • She forgot to mention the chocolate MUST be at least 70% cacao. Anything else is not healthy.

  • crap i am 5'3' and i used to be 132 but now i am 140 cuz i go to beauty school and it makes me gain weight like really bad... i dont kno what to do to lose it up to 120 at least... :(

  • @liquoriceknees I think she thought it was pretty obvious that you eat veggies and fruits and drink water , maybe she thought we were smart enough to figure that out.... And she was right sooooo stop complaining if you already think u know how to lose weight ....

  • I am turning 14 in may and am 145 lbs. Idk about my height my doctor said 5'6 and a half? I just say 5'7. I have a huge problem with eating at night like I ALWAYS want to. and I LOVE candy. Like sour patch kids, etc. I just want to tone up my body and be healthy. My main problems are: Thighs, arms/underarms, and hips/lower back. Any tips?

  • @KayBearGlam walking 30 minutes a day is the best and easiest exercise for your legs to slim them down and as they slim down it will also slim down your arms and thighs / hips and lower back / etc... walking is the best for overall results without bulking up muscles with weight lifting, and of course don't forget to drink your water every day which helps hydrate the body and flush toxins / fat / etc... and eat balanced healthy meals :)

  • Oh and also - the person who is hating on soy milk. Soy milk is actually not bad for you. Maybe YOU should do research. Like everything it's good in moderation. Also almond milk is really good and good for you!

  • I love how everyone responds so negatively. A bunch of negative nancys lol. I love how you support organic stuff and soy milk in this video! I don't know why people are hating on you so much this is just some of the stuff you eat, obviously you eat real fruit and veggies too. People are jealous because you are a beautiful blonde! :) Well keep eating healthy and exercising and taking care of yourself. Good on ya girl. Focus on the positive comments! Forget the haters. <3 Love from Canada

  • I dont know if you know, but theres this free stuff that comes from your tap, its called water and its alot better for you than any of that. Oh and another tip, fruit and veg (not in a prepacked cup) tastes much better than "fat free" microwaved brownies..

Its easy to tell people what and what not when your metabolism does most of the work

  • you dont need to lose 50 pounds u need to get some meat on that pretty body

  • Hey Natalie, love this video! You are right it's important to look after your body as it is the only one you have. People have given some pretty harsh comments to this video of yours. I had in mind that you're telling your viewers what "YOU" do to keep the weight off and what your body is ok with. I liked this video! It gives people an idea of what kind of things to consider when thinking about eating healthy.. "Where to start" for example. :) xoxo ~ N

  • Typical blond. Enough said...

  • wow you still got to watch for the calories that are on some of those products that you just showed.

  • she's talking a bit funny..veneers?

  • Oh and i subbed=) I like you already Xx

  • Hey I had a baby 6 months ago and I am currently 154 lb =( before I had Lexie I was 111 lb, so yeah, not feeling my best! What exercise did you do? And how often?
