It was a lovely song, and true, but the video that accompanied it was almost akin to female objectification. In my mind the eyes, as some say the gateway to the soul, were chosen because they were aesthetically pleasing. If you are trying to put forward a message then do not dilute it with psychological pornography. Our Muslim women deserve more.
@muslimwhacker nope. they think about what the men want to see "hmmm i need to show my legs to the male collegues at the office so i need to wear this short skirt..." also " if i wear ths top it covers my clevege! what will ppl think of me! "
@DjKroniKz You DON'T think that the death sentence for leaving your cult is wrong? And what does that have to do with women making their own choice about what they want to wear?
@muslimwhacker obviously its wrong that why its not true.and being a liar is one thing im definetely not.murder is FORBIDDEN in islam so those who think u are allowed to do so are obviously not muslims.why cant you just accept that everyone has there own beliefs and let them believe what they want to believe.would u like it if someone was insulting ur religion or faith.and why is it our religion ur singling out.im guessing u dont remember the "ku klux klan" or the "republican conflict" etc.
libyan doesnt mean muslim as it has catholics iswell so your answer should of been against cruel, evil PEOPLE and made up CULTURE. CULTURE IS NOT RELIGION
@muslimwhacker i sent u a personal message cuz it wudnt let me send what i wrote :/
what u on about?? everyones dies? :S that doesnt make any sense and were not a deathcult. that just shows how low someone can get. atleast i dont badmouth other peoples beliefs as i know i wudnt like it if someone was doing it to me. guess this makes me the better person huh? we are gods servants yes, and we bow down to him in worship and to him alone as he is our creater.
@ribena4sure You are plain out LYING about your religion. Your death-cult commands that those who choose to leave your evil cult must be killed. Don't you think that's wrong?
@muslimwhacker if your gunna say that you cant say muslim men cause the have the same Testosterone as any other male. so tbh that makes them better than nonmuslims as they atleast try to stop the bad thoughts
@ribena4sure You have spent a long time trying to justify why women should be subjugated in your religion yet have no courage at all to come face to face with your biggest lie: "As God has given everyone free will"
Except he hasn't...has he? I f you decide with your "free will" to leave islam, what is the punishment as decreed by the koran?
I understand that answering makes you look like a fool...but not answering is even worse...
@muslimwhacker free will is to make a choice. animals dont hav choices they have instincts. God has giving humans the mind to make choices if they want to or not do something.so saying god hasnt given us free will is just stupid cuz we make hundreds of choices everyday whether we want to do something or not. its Quran and if you knew where openminded and not arrogant narrow minded person and saw what amazing truths and beauty lies in islam then u wudnt leave it in the first place.
@ribena4sure If the punishment is death...there is NO free choice. Face it...your death-cult was invented by a slave-owning child-fucker. The civilized world rejects your evil creed...
@muslimwhacker To thos who try & justify there vicious words with remarks like 'child fu**er' you will know the consequence on day of judgement prophet mohammed pbuh led the world into islam and considering its the fastest growing religion to date you must be nasty & spiteful out of fear that people are seeing islam as logic and NOTas a terrorist ridden evil religion? inshallah you will remember your words and realise how wrong you are.May allah stw guide you on the path of righteousness. peace
@muslimwhacker i dont care in the first place whether i look like a fool or not, i just want you to understand islam isnt ugly like the media makes it out to be..
@muslimwhacker the quote u stated about how men cant look up to women is true.this is so men dont feel lust or feel bad temptations towards women which 50/50 chance can turn into an action.this also stops the men from comparing his wife to others which will lower both of their self esteems and could even lead to a divorce if the situation was really bad.i have many friends from christians to atheists and they dont judge me by what i wear but my personality.
@muslimwhacker if u listen to the song and what it is saying then u will understand how muslim women feel.we feel protected and safe when we wear the hijab and cover our figure.we wear these clothings so men cannot see our hair and body shape.this is so men cant look at us as something to "play with" and instead look at us with respect. in the love relation aspect it will be so the men will love her for her personality not her appearance.
@muslimwhacker ur wrong as im a muslim girl and my mum converted to islam because of islams beauty.i love my religion so much and islam forbides force marriages which is wat i presume ur thinking our religion is about.Islam is so pure and amazing.i no ur not going 2 agree with me nomatter what i say but islam treats everyone equally nomatter the gender, the race etc.if u think islam is about opression why r ther so many people converting to islam every single day?listen 2 the song and the story
Hijab isn't to degrade women, but to liberate women. It is to avoid us from being an object for men to stare at. Moreover, when i wear my hijab i feel a sense of calm because i know my beauty isn't on display but is concealed from strangers. When people ask me why do i wear the hijab. I ask why do you wear clothes? They reply for modesty with a shocked expression. I then I say my logic is to wear hijab to cover and present ones self in a modest fashion.
@aminabham1 People wear clothes to protect us from the elements and to cover our sexual organs. Is your hair a sexual organ? Are muslim men so pathetic they feel the need to rape women who don't wear a bag on their heads? Only by the most twisted logic can anyone think that bag wearing is somehow "liberating"...is wife beating "liberating? Are women worth less than men in your view?
Your "holy book" seems to think so:
Qur'an (2:228) - "and the men are a degree above them [women]"
@muslimwhacker Covering the hair to protect women from men finding them beautiful and appealing. In Islam, a womens beauty is to be celebrated within the family and not to be shown by strangers on the street. You call that degrading- i call it a sense of freedom. A Muslim manwill save himself for his wife and avoid looking at any women regardless. It is a women's choice to wear it, if her husband intends to force it on her- indeed he isn't a good muslim. As God has given everyone free will,
@aminabham1 "As God has given everyone free will"
Except he hasn't...has he? I f you decide with your "free will" to leave islam, what is the punishment as decreed by the koran?
" A Muslim manwill save himself for his wife and avoid looking at any women regardless."
Don't you mean the WIVES and slaves"?
(4:3) - "Marry of the women, who seem good to you, two or three or four; and if ye fear that ye cannot do justice (to so many) then one or (the captives) that your right hands possess."
@muslimwhacker We make the decision to put on the hijab everyday because it is our choice to do so. I don't do it for my husband or anyone else but myself and Allah. Even though Allah told me that I need to wear hijab...I still have the choice to not wear it but I choose to because I do not feel right walking out of my house without it. many women who are not muslim look in the mirror to make sure they can attract a man, I and many other muslim women, look for more dignified reasons
@muslimwhacker yeh and even more sad women in west are subjugated by men to reveal their bodies and private parts to strangers. even in the cold they need to show off their legs....very sad indeed....
im getting used too wearing the hajib now but sometimes i feel too covered up. or that none of my friends will like me or that they will think that their is something wrong with my hair ! this song helps me sometimes
Doesn't it bother Muslims that Muhammad broke his own Quran's rules by taking more than 4 wives? If Muhammad cared about his wive's physical/sexual needs, why did he then forbid anyone from marrying any of them after he died? Poor Aisha was only 19 when he died so she was denied any chance of ever having children or having happiness with another man. Muslims claim to respect Jesus as a true prophet but deny his clear teaching that God gave Adam only one wife, not several? Jesus is the way.
Assalaam wah aleykoum my niqabi sisters!! I wear hijab, and I have seen some vids about the sisters who wear niqab, and I have to tell you that I respect you for your choice!!!! It takes a lot of courage to be who you are, and I appreciate you!! May Allah azawajel guide us all ameen!! <3 :)
@irishxxkelt well do not christians say that son and father and holy spirit are one? so r u implying that Creator of jesus had no controll over his traits and his destiny?
if jesus could not controll his own destiny, then he didnt decided to come down to die for ur cross(as u say) because he has no controll over things?moreover if he has no controll over his own destiny then how can he have have control over yours?(how can he save u?)
so u see at begining u denied to follow practice of jesus peace and blessings upon him,and now as result of that u led urself (by logics) to part where u deny his divinity(which is good btw).
God is only One,nothing is similar to Him,He begetth nor is beggoten,He has no children, nor parents nor partners,He is unique.nobody died for ur sins, every person is responsible for their own actions.isa ibne maryam was neither crucified nor killed but taken to sky alive, and we all wait his return
@DontBeSleeper He was born as a baby when he came as saviour. He is distinct from the Father yet with Him in the beginning. God has children now, millions and millions of people who have accepted Jesus as Lord and Saviour. Jesus was crucified as testified by PAGAN ROMAN HISTORIANS SUCH AS TACITUS, AND SUETONIUS and others.
@irishxxkelt u call priest a father but doesnt mean he made u(by sleeping with ur mother,no offence btw) ...same way jesus calling creator father doesnt mean he is of his 'bloodline'..likeness of jesus is one of adam aleyhi salam...jesus had no biological father, adam had neither father nor mother and still he is not 'child' of God
@irishxxkelt alright then sorry for asumption that ur male, but u got the point, just because word father is used doesnt mean that it actually means is biological father. and well did u just deny his divinity? and spoke that he is entirely human?
@irishxxkelt ssomething was crucified on cross i agree, but according to me it is likeness of jesus aleyhi salam and not actual body of jesus aleyhi salam, but jesus aleyhi salam was saved before crucifiction took place
@DontBeSleeper That is what Mohammed taught you but the very purpose of the death of Jesus was that he would offer Himself the innocent lamb with no stain as the the perfect sacrifice for our sins.
@irishxxkelt fine then u call father of ur wife 'father' -in-law but still it doesnt make him ur dad..well see u just said he couldnt controll his destiny that he was helpless baby when he get circumsized..so if he cant controll his destiny, how can he say he INTENTIONALLY offered himself as sacrifice?
@cesaryusuf You are entitled to your opinion but beautiful women are found everywhere and in my experience Muslim women are very fond of make-up to attract men.
@irishxxkelt dont confuse those which hold to their modesty and those who dont really...
point of hijab is to protect urself from desirable looks,it is to reflect looks
but there r sisters outthere which make 'beatuifull' styles and use make up,so people would look at them and say: ''aaah beautifull hijab'' ...now as u can see then the entire POINT of hijab is ruined, because instead of reflecting looks,it became attractor to looks
@DontBeSleeper I know it is fashion accessory. Look at all the so-called devout Muslims putting videos of themselves putting on a hijab. How difficult is it to put on a hijab? That is apart from women in hijabs plastering themselves with make-up and showing how it is done............
in bible there r verses as 'my father is greater than I', 'I on my own cant do nothing'..'hear oh israel our lord is one','i am not good,my father is good' and so on and on,yet people refuse his words and speak blasphemy and lies upon him and his Creator..and they dare to say that they r his followers altho they do not listen to him nor follow path which he set by example(praying by prostrating face on floor, beard, clothing above ankle,circumsizion....)
i want to tell everyone about myself..im a revert of 15 yrs..i wore niqab for 7 yrs then hijab for 6 yrs..then i was homeless and had to live at home with ma christian family and i was forced to take it off or be homeless..to all my sisters out there..ever since i took off ma hijab my life turned for the worst..women are seen as meat..i cant explain how hurt u will be without ur hijab. how much u will suffer...insha allah i will wear it soon but sisters nvr take it off..ur honour is in hijab
@butterflyz2011 allah bless u ,, u r totally right hijab is the most beautiful thing ,, be patient and everything's gonna be alright as long as u didn't mean to take it off ,, keep praying and i'll pray for u too ^_^ peace from k.s.a
@butterflyz2011 plz sister do not take off ur hijab even if forced unless u will be harmed.... homeless? Allah will provide if u have faith in him. i know its easier said than done but i have heard situations where people have been kicked out and they live in a hostel for a bit then get a flat of their own. Insha'Allah try and explain to ur family why u were it n maybe they will one day undertsnd. Ameen
@butterflyz2011 Sister your words are so inspiring for me...I am a revert of almost 10 months and my hijab is everything to me. I admire your courage in the things that you had to face and I could not imagine being in that situation. The hijab is a part of my identity and I could not even imagine not being able to wear it. May Allah reward you sister
I am sure any one who say hejab gives women respect hasnt been in islamic countries. Women are forced to wear this, they are put in the kitchen and only a mean to satisfy perverted men. Hijab only gives men more perverted imagination!
it is not sanitary or healthy to cover up like this. Also i often wonder, why these women are so high on makeup and wear excessive amounts of makeup on their eyes if modesty or not wanting to attract men's attention if their objective. Puzzling!
@rrreinhard you can say watever u want but just know that u cant judge someone or say where theyre goin thats for allah to decide and for u to get a lfe
@CullenHearts I dont think you have to go to that extreme to be modest. Modest comes from the heart and it shows in your behavior as well as your selections and decisions. If all dress the same uniform men are unable to know the true character of a woman. Many can dress like that but be a prostitute at heart.
@ana232 And that is their personal choice. Islam is simply a guideline but Muslims are human and have just as much a free will and choice to do and follow as they see fit and it's solely up to the creator alone to judge them accord to what''s in their hearts as with every human being. So if they choose to cover trust me NO ONE's forcing them especially in a country like America
@IzcirliyAY America does NOT yet have Islamic Sharia law (Britain already has 85 Sharia courts). In Saudi Arabia women must wear abayas and cover heads and necks it is the law...in Iran women must wear hejab and many women get tickets from the morality police if their clothing is not Islamic enough, and women are arrested for not wearing hejab. .
@ThePreciouscirirta Well, make up is vanity, so you are allowed vanity only in your face but not in your body??? Vanity is vanity, that clothing is only a sign of male dominion.
@ana232 To say covering is a sign of male domination is a very weak statement because surely a man with a perverted mind is more likely to gain pleasure from seeing a woman half naked than he would a woman covered. And the point of covering in Islam is simple " to be modest" you can still be modest and beautiful.. And some woman choose to ware makeup to feel beautiful but they're still doing it in a modest fashion.
@ana232 Some Muslims might feel wearing makeup is wrong, just like some Christians might. And some (myself included) Might not. Wearing makeup 2 me isn't an act of vanity because I know that many women wear makeup 2 feel confident, beautiful or simply for fashion... And just because 1 wear makeup doesn’t have 2 mean they’re trying to be Vain.
@ThePreciouscirirta I am not against make up, I personally like it, is fun, my problem is with the fact that muslim women think they are better than the rest yet they do the same things we do.
The veil is less to do with covering onesef but more to do with wanting to be appreciated for their mind... and how they ARE.. rather than what they LOOK like .. especially in this day and age where IMAGE is everything
i am a pakistani muslim girl. i belong to a religious n modern family. that , means i have been taught my religion, ethics and tradition but nobody forces me to do anything i dont want to. i studied at an elite fashionable college for 4 years ,wore a hijaab, made fun of, i retained it. i play basketball, i go out with my friends,.
@ManUtd5700 all it teaches me is that your women canbnt be trusted around men ,funny that cos its usualy the muslim men out shagging white women and shit while preaching mabee you should wear a burkah ..ie the under age prostitution case at the moment where girls were raped and abused in telford england by pakistani muslims and put on the game one who was pregnant at 16 was made to have sex with 2 men wat say the muslims in defence
i love veil n my beautiful islam .... i wish that every woman wear it it protect ur chasty... thanks to allah .. islam is beautiful people who understand it will love it,,,
@Bisma890 Just because a man sees my hair my face or my legs doesn't mean he can touch me. I love the wind blowing through my hair and I love to sit on the beach and feel the sun on my skin and go into the ocean. I am free and happy. It does not mean men can touch me. Sure some women dress very sexy still it does not mean men can touch her. Covering your face is extreme and so is dressing very sexy. However men are responsible for their feelings/actions. Women should not be punished for beauty.
@asmatawil If women have to go to this extent to protect themselves from the evil thoughts of men then the men should be castrated. I cannot imagine going around covered from head to foot on a summer day. To me it is glorious to feel the wind through my hair and sun on my skin and I would feel like I was in jail if I lived in an Islamic state where I had to cover like this. I would not want to go outside.
@ELSOL102 it may be hot for us on a hot summer's day but it's hotter in hell. not everyone thinks about what they're missing out because they can't go to the beach with the wind in their hair. we have much better in Paradise.
@ELSOL102 when you realise the beauty of Islam and you fall in love with your Lord everything becomes easy. And it feels natural and just right. if only u could feel wat we feel.
@oink714 The beauty of Islam...what, that a woman's testimony is worth half a man's in court, and that her inheritance is worth half her brother, and that she is controlled either by her family or her husband.
@ELSOL102 her inheritance is half of a her brother, because she would get the wealth of her husband, which he inherits from his family. Islam makes sense. And no! women is not controlled by her family or her husband. i'll tell u dis because i am a living proof of this. In Islam the woman is the leader of the house. she is given more rights towards the children then de father. there is even a chapter in the Quran named "The Woman" Allah gave us more rights dan de women in any other religion. PEACE
@ELSOL102 wether men touch u or not they might have desires to do things with u. think about it these men could b someones husband a father fiance son, imagine how many relations will be affected if they find out about his intentions. after all men are hot blooded. apparently they have 7x more sexual urge than women. so we should help our brothers help themselves. hu say's we cant beautyfy ourselves. yes we can but not 4 strangers.
@oink714 Why is sex a bigger sin than murder. Also, why does the woman have to go to such extremes to cover everything even her forearms. Sorry but this just goes too far. It is not a merciful God that demands that people be buried to chest and have rocks thrown at them for adultery by their family friends and neighbors. I never want to live in a country where this is forced on me.
Allah doesn't exist for me. I believe in the God of Abraham who doesn't demand that I wear a black robe covering all but my eyes. If He did, he would no longer be my God, especially if he didn't demand that men put their eyes out.
Muslim Sisters in Hijab are more beautiful, because we can see her face more clearly because it is in focus more, it's amazing that so many sisters give up the Hijab and take it off.. :( Please Sisters, keep your Hijab, I and i bet so many Brothers would love it...
@akropiss I don't know if hejabs should be banned, maybe the ones that cover the neck maybe the ones that impare a woman's vision. Niqabs should be banned because that is dangerous it could be anybody under all that material.
I think some people are missing the point. When a Muslim women chooses to wear hijab it is for the sake of Allah (God) and no one else. It is part of Islam, it is an order from Allah. So please do not make the mistake of thinking every women wearing hijab is only doing so because she is forced by a man! Take time to ask a hijabi(woman who wears the cover). I know there are some women forced, and that is wrong. However, I'm a convert to Islam, live in America and alhamdulilah, I'm a proud hijabi!
@nhmuslimah2009 So why doesn't the man also cover his head, his hair, his figure? He is sexy too, and there are homosexuals out there looking at him. Yes there are many women who want to wear hejab, but there are Muslim countries that force this on the women and beat them if their hair shows-In Iran they do this, in Saudi Arabia all women must wear abaya and I believe Muslim women must wear hejabs and neck and ears must be covered. In those societies they are forced to dress that way.
@ELSOL102 Men are also required to dress a certain way in Islam. Also, they should not be trying to beautify their appearances for those other than in permitted (such as family, wife). And again you are reiterating what I stated earlier, that some people are forced, but Islam is not the reason for people being forced. It is the corruption and evil that finds its way into people's hearts.
@nhmuslimah2009 The men are not as restricted and the men you most often cannot tell are Muslims but all the women in veils you know they are. The countries where hejab and abayas are enforced are Islamic states with Sharia Islamic law. Women are often beaten if their dress does not conform.
@ELSOL102 Not men do not have the same dress code as Muslim women. Women do have more to cover. Again, it is wrong to beat these women. We have both agreed on this point. If true sharia law was enforced these women would not be beaten. There is not one place on this earth with true and flawless Sharia law.
@ELSOL102 Yes. they are. In Islam we believe that women have more to cover than men do, that their beauty needs more protection than a man's. Muslim believes Allah (God) knows best, even if there are reasons our eyes fail to see, he knows what is best for us. This is why people chose to cover. Unfortunately some people are forced to cover, and again we have acknowledged the fact that this is wrong.
@nhmuslimah2009 Well it makes me very angry. Women are treated like shit because they are women and it goes both ways. In West we are made to look like idiots by the media, and under Islam we have to dress sometimes on HOT days in long abayas & head coverings and can't even go to the beach without wearing a space suit in the blazing hot sun.
@ELSOL102 you dont have to wwear abaya to be modest a maxi dress and thin (but not transparent) cardi will do fine, or anything that is modest and doesnt show the figure
that is because our qur'aan stipulates for the woman to cover her whole self to preserve herself from harrassment and to be recognised as a free respectable woman (i.e at the time this verse was revealled, the companions have stated the onlywomen to reveal their face in public were the jews and christians, the pagans, the slaves and the prostitutes)...
@eyescryforALLAAH07 YOu said only women to reveal their face in public were jews christians pagans, slaves & prostitutes. Oh great so all muslim men think women who don't cover their faces are whores? This is sick!
do not dare to insinuate that i am claiming these people are prostitutes! what selective quoting you have!
no, the fact is that it was deemed obligatory for a woman to cover her face constantly within the previous scriptures, and this was because societies were in general more modest. however, due to the corruption we have seen over the years, it isnow seen as a must to protect oneself this way - & it DOES work
@eyescryforALLAAH07 I''m not claiming you say they are prostitutes I am saying some Muslim men may think so which is why rapes of women without hejab is increasing in Europe.
@eyescryforALLAAH07 I wear jeans and loose T shirts. I know if I wear tight shirts or low cuts men may look. I don't have to wear a tent to protect myself.
@ELSOL102 you only have to look at the film "oliver" to see how prostitutes used to dress in the west... they used to show face, some hair, forarms, ankles & some cleavage. in the arabian peninsula, the arab prostitutes probably also revealed more than the face! probably not as much as today, but maybe ankles, parts of the arms etc. if someone was asked a question about people covering the face, why would you give an answer describing the clothes etc of each group that revealled the face?
not many women harrass men now do they? however, a woman is always at risk ofabuse, either verbal or physical, and it is far easier for a woman to be overpowered than a man, is it not?
fact is, when faced with a woman covered entirely anda woman showing her adornments, which is more likely to get harassment? as a non muslim for 18 years of my life, even i KNOW the answer to that one!!!
@eyescryforALLAAH07 Well I don't like the idea. It's sad if women have to go around wearing tents to protect themselves from these evil wolves. I do believe women can be modest without covering their hair and wearing clothes to their wrists and ankles.
well as you aren't muslim no one expects you to like the idea!
however, it is a fundmental right that as most muslim women willingly dress this way AND comprehend the wisdom behind it, that it be at the very least, respected and tolerated.
if you ask many muslim women today, you will find that they dress this way despite their husbands or familyin general hating it, and this is because they love allaah more that anything and wish to please him the most!
@eyescryforALLAAH07 In some Islamic states it is not the woman's choice. If she does not wear the proper dress she is beaten. In Iran now they are confiscating people's cars if a woman's hejab is not to their specifications, or if a man's dress is not up to par. They are also confiscating driver's license. The Taliban beat women too if their ankles show.
@eyescryforALLAAH07 When people start demanding separate pools and separate beaches and trying to force this bullshit on others...I resent the idea that women have to go to this extreme to protect themselves. And I resent men who don't respect women who don't go to this extreme. I've had Muslim men tell me all western women are whores because they don't do this and it infuriates me. That is just a bad attitude and inaccurate as well.
@eyescryforALLAAH07 Yes women are at risk for abuse. Well I will choose my way of how I will deal with it. I don't need to cover my arms to my wrists and cover my hair to prevent men from harassing me. I will not sacrifice my identity because men are disgusting pigs by nature.
@ELSOL102 and as i said, no one expects you too because you are irreligious.
what we do in our religion is our business and not yours!
and excuse me, since when did revealing onesself in public be classed as our identity?
i thought it was more to do with personality and looks as a whole, and thus one is not sacrificing their identity by covering as she is still a human with a personality and intellect.
@eyescryforALLAAH07 It is my business when a religion has a history of trying to take over and force their ideas on people via Sharia Islamic law. If you are living in US or Britain you haven't experienced it. Look at the women in Iran....having their cars and driving licenses confiscated or being arrested for not having the proper hejab. They are doing it to me as well in Iran. OH, if a man and women are in the same car together and they are not related, they get 95 lashes.
@nhmuslimah2009 On HOT days the women are suffering. I see them sweating everyday while their husbands wear short sleeves...the women have tight sleeves right to their wrists in 100 degree HOT weather.
Assallamu Allykum...note to uploader...This nasheed is SO meaningless
when you add pictures like that to it. There is probably nothing more attractive
(ask any man) then a set of eyes layered in makeup popping out through the
niqab. Please people. don't make a joke out of hijab. Even the none muslims
laugh at this.

@muslimwhacker the quote u stated about how men cant look up to women is true.this is so men dont feel lust or feel bad temptations towards women which 50/50 chance can turn into an action.this also stops the men from comparing his wife to others which will lower both of their self esteems and could even lead to a divorce if the situation was really bad.i have many friends from christians to atheists and they dont judge me by what i wear but my personality.
ribena4sure 6 months ago
@muslimwhacker if u listen to the song and what it is saying then u will understand how muslim women feel.we feel protected and safe when we wear the hijab and cover our figure.we wear these clothings so men cannot see our hair and body shape.this is so men cant look at us as something to "play with" and instead look at us with respect. in the love relation aspect it will be so the men will love her for her personality not her appearance.

You dont have to cover you face, just your hair.
shama3105 6 months ago
Hijab isn't to degrade women, but to liberate women. It is to avoid us from being an object for men to stare at. Moreover, when i wear my hijab i feel a sense of calm because i know my beauty isn't on display but is concealed from strangers. When people ask me why do i wear the hijab. I ask why do you wear clothes? They reply for modesty with a shocked expression. I then I say my logic is to wear hijab to cover and present ones self in a modest fashion.
aminabham1 6 months ago
@aminabham1 People wear clothes to protect us from the elements and to cover our sexual organs. Is your hair a sexual organ? Are muslim men so pathetic they feel the need to rape women who don't wear a bag on their heads? Only by the most twisted logic can anyone think that bag wearing is somehow "liberating"...is wife beating "liberating? Are women worth less than men in your view?
Your "holy book" seems to think so:
Qur'an (2:228) - "and the men are a degree above them [women]"
muslimwhacker 6 months ago
@muslimwhacker Covering the hair to protect women from men finding them beautiful and appealing. In Islam, a womens beauty is to be celebrated within the family and not to be shown by strangers on the street. You call that degrading- i call it a sense of freedom. A Muslim manwill save himself for his wife and avoid looking at any women regardless. It is a women's choice to wear it, if her husband intends to force it on her- indeed he isn't a good muslim. As God has given everyone free will,
aminabham1 6 months ago
@aminabham1 "As God has given everyone free will"
Except he hasn't...has he? I f you decide with your "free will" to leave islam, what is the punishment as decreed by the koran?
" A Muslim manwill save himself for his wife and avoid looking at any women regardless."
Don't you mean the WIVES and slaves"?
(4:3) - "Marry of the women, who seem good to you, two or three or four; and if ye fear that ye cannot do justice (to so many) then one or (the captives) that your right hands possess."
muslimwhacker 6 months ago
@muslimwhacker We make the decision to put on the hijab everyday because it is our choice to do so. I don't do it for my husband or anyone else but myself and Allah. Even though Allah told me that I need to wear hijab...I still have the choice to not wear it but I choose to because I do not feel right walking out of my house without it. many women who are not muslim look in the mirror to make sure they can attract a man, I and many other muslim women, look for more dignified reasons

@DontBeSleeper Does a baby have control of anything?

@irishxxkelt well do not christians say that son and father and holy spirit are one? so r u implying that Creator of jesus had no controll over his traits and his destiny?
DontBeSleeper 1 year ago
if jesus could not controll his own destiny, then he didnt decided to come down to die for ur cross(as u say) because he has no controll over things?moreover if he has no controll over his own destiny then how can he have have control over yours?(how can he save u?)
DontBeSleeper 1 year ago
and if he is one who can not control or shape his own destiny then he is not God
DontBeSleeper 1 year ago
so u see at begining u denied to follow practice of jesus peace and blessings upon him,and now as result of that u led urself (by logics) to part where u deny his divinity(which is good btw).

@cesaryusuf You are entitled to your opinion but beautiful women are found everywhere and in my experience Muslim women are very fond of make-up to attract men.
irishxxkelt 1 year ago
@irishxxkelt dont confuse those which hold to their modesty and those who dont really...
point of hijab is to protect urself from desirable looks,it is to reflect looks
but there r sisters outthere which make 'beatuifull' styles and use make up,so people would look at them and say: ''aaah beautifull hijab'' ...now as u can see then the entire POINT of hijab is ruined, because instead of reflecting looks,it became attractor to looks
DontBeSleeper 1 year ago
@DontBeSleeper I know it is fashion accessory. Look at all the so-called devout Muslims putting videos of themselves putting on a hijab. How difficult is it to put on a hijab? That is apart from women in hijabs plastering themselves with make-up and showing how it is done............

CullenHearts 1 year ago
@CullenHearts I dont think you have to go to that extreme to be modest. Modest comes from the heart and it shows in your behavior as well as your selections and decisions. If all dress the same uniform men are unable to know the true character of a woman. Many can dress like that but be a prostitute at heart.
ana232 1 year ago
@ana232 And that is their personal choice. Islam is simply a guideline but Muslims are human and have just as much a free will and choice to do and follow as they see fit and it's solely up to the creator alone to judge them accord to what''s in their hearts as with every human being. So if they choose to cover trust me NO ONE's forcing them especially in a country like America
IzcirliyAY 1 year ago
@IzcirliyAY America does NOT yet have Islamic Sharia law (Britain already has 85 Sharia courts). In Saudi Arabia women must wear abayas and cover heads and necks it is the law...in Iran women must wear hejab and many women get tickets from the morality police if their clothing is not Islamic enough, and women are arrested for not wearing hejab. .

@ThePreciouscirirta Well, make up is vanity, so you are allowed vanity only in your face but not in your body??? Vanity is vanity, that clothing is only a sign of male dominion.
ana232 1 year ago

ELSOL102 1 year ago
@ELSOL102 they shouldn't be punished for their beauty but they can protect themselves from the evils of thoughts men can have.

ELSOL102 1 year ago
@ELSOL102 her inheritance is half of a her brother, because she would get the wealth of her husband, which he inherits from his family. Islam makes sense. And no! women is not controlled by her family or her husband. i'll tell u dis because i am a living proof of this. In Islam the woman is the leader of the house. she is given more rights towards the children then de father. there is even a chapter in the Quran named "The Woman" Allah gave us more rights dan de women in any other religion. oink714 1 year ago
@oink714 Why is sex a bigger sin than murder. Also, why does the woman have to go to such extremes to cover everything even her forearms. Sorry but this just goes too far. ELSOL102 1 year ago
However, I'm a convert to Islam, live in America and alhamdulilah, I'm a proud hijabi!
nhmuslimah2009 1 year ago 23
@nhmuslimah2009 So why doesn't the man also cover his head, his hair, his figure? He is sexy too, and there are homosexuals out there looking at him. Yes there are many women who want to wear hejab, but there are Muslim countries that force this on the women and beat them if their hair shows-In Iran they do this, in Saudi Arabia all women must wear abaya and I believe Muslim women must wear hejabs and neck and ears must be covered. In those societies they are forced to dress that way.
ELSOL102 1 year ago
@ELSOL102 Men are also required to dress a certain way in Islam. Also, they should not be trying to beautify their appearances for those other than in permitted (such as family, wife). And again you are reiterating what I stated earlier, that some people are forced, but Islam is not the reason for people being forced. It is the corruption and evil that finds its way into people's hearts.
nhmuslimah2009 1 year ago
@nhmuslimah2009 The men are not as restricted and the men you most often cannot tell are Muslims but all the women in veils you know they are. The countries where hejab and abayas are enforced are Islamic states with Sharia Islamic law. Women are often beaten if their dress does not conform.
ELSOL102 1 year ago
@ELSOL102 Not men do not have the same dress code as Muslim women. Women do have more to cover. Again, it is wrong to beat these women. We have both agreed on this point. If true sharia law was enforced these women would not be beaten. There is not one place on this earth with true and flawless Sharia law.
nhmuslimah2009 1 year ago
@nhmuslimah2009 Men are much less restricted in their dress.
ELSOL102 1 year ago

@nhmuslimah2009 If I had to live in an Islamic state I would much rather be a man!
ELSOL102 1 year ago
@ELSOL102
that is because our qur'aan stipulates for the woman to cover her whole self to preserve herself from harrassment and to be recognised as a free respectable woman (i.e at the time this verse was revealled, the companions have stated the onlywomen to reveal their face in public were the jews and christians, the pagans, the slaves and the prostitutes)...
eyescryforALLAAH07 1 year ago
@eyescryforALLAAH07 YOu said only women to reveal their face in public were jews christians pagans, slaves & prostitutes. Oh great so all muslim men think women who don't cover their faces are whores? This is sick!
ELSOL102 1 year ago
@ELSOL102 ermm... read it again.
did not "jews&christians" come before the rest?
do not dare to insinuate that i am claiming these people are prostitutes! what selective quoting you have!
no, the fact is that it was deemed obligatory for a woman to cover her face constantly within the previous scriptures, and this was because societies were in general more modest. however, due to the corruption we have seen over the years, it isnow seen as a must to protect oneself this way - & it DOES work
eyescryforALLAAH07 1 year ago
@eyescryforALLAAH07 I''m not claiming you say they are prostitutes I am saying some Muslim men may think so which is why rapes of women without hejab is increasing in Europe.
ELSOL102 1 year ago
@eyescryforALLAAH07 I wear jeans and loose T shirts. I know if I wear tight shirts or low cuts men may look. I don't have to wear a tent to protect myself.
ELSOL102 1 year ago
@ELSOL102 you only have to look at the film "oliver" to see how prostitutes used to dress in the west... they used to show face, some hair, forarms, ankles & some cleavage. in the arabian peninsula, the arab prostitutes probably also revealed more than the face! probably not as much as today, but maybe ankles, parts of the arms etc. if someone was asked a question about people covering the face, why would you give an answer describing the clothes etc of each group that revealled the face?
eyescryforALLAAH07 1 year ago
@ELSOL102
not many women harrass men now do they? however, a woman is always at risk ofabuse, either verbal or physical, and it is far easier for a woman to be overpowered than a man, is it not?
fact is, when faced with a woman covered entirely anda woman showing her adornments, which is more likely to get harassment? as a non muslim for 18 years of my life, even i KNOW the answer to that one!!!
eyescryforALLAAH07 1 year ago
@eyescryforALLAAH07 Well I don't like the idea. It's sad if women have to go around wearing tents to protect themselves from these evil wolves. I do believe women can be modest without covering their hair and wearing clothes to their wrists and ankles.
ELSOL102 1 year ago
@ELSOL102
well as you aren't muslim no one expects you to like the idea!
however, it is a fundmental right that as most muslim women willingly dress this way AND comprehend the wisdom behind it, that it be at the very least, respected and tolerated.
if you ask many muslim women today, you will find that they dress this way despite their husbands or familyin general hating it, and this is because they love allaah more that anything and wish to please him the most!

ELSOL102 1 year ago
@eyescryforALLAAH07 Yes women are at risk for abuse. Well I will choose my way of how I will deal with it. I don't need to cover my arms to my wrists and cover my hair to prevent men from harassing me. I will not sacrifice my identity because men are disgusting pigs by nature.
ELSOL102 1 year ago
@ELSOL102 and as i said, no one expects you too because you are irreligious.
what we do in our religion is our business and not yours!
and excuse me, since when did revealing onesself in public be classed as our identity?
i thought it was more to do with personality and looks as a whole, and thus one is not sacrificing their identity by covering as she is still a human with a personality and intellect.
eyescryforALLAAH07 1 year ago
@eyescryforALLAAH07 It is my business when a religion has a history of trying to take over and force their ideas on people via Sharia Islamic law. If you are living in US or Britain you haven't experienced it. Look at the women in Iran....having their cars and driving licenses confiscated or being arrested for not having the proper hejab. They are doing it to me as well in Iran. OH, if a man and women are in the same car together and they are not related, they get 95 lashes.
ELSOL102 1 year ago
@nhmuslimah2009 It's Islamic law via Sharia in some countries that forces women to cover in hejabs and/or abayas etc.
ELSOL102 1 year ago
@ELSOL102 Those countries are wrong scarves and abayas should be encourged NOT forced

@nhmuslimah2009 On HOT days the women are suffering. I see them sweating everyday while their husbands wear short sleeves...the women have tight sleeves right to their wrists in 100 degree HOT weather.

@ELSOL102 Well some muslim were tighter close i wear comfortable lose fitting cloths and usually its not that bad when its hot outside
