I have an e revo and my suspension isn't right. When I have the pushrods all in the same hole, the front sits higher even when i pick it up. The only way I could fix it was put the front in the middle hole, but someone told me not to do that. Please Help!

If you want to run stock speeds 32-35mph and gear it low enough it will hold up, read the comments below. Spend the Money on the MMM combo, 250 on ebay.

What's with the MMM thing, you mean the Monster max setup (the one with 2200 kV and 2650 kV motors) or something else? Because I can't find anything that stands for MMM in Castle.

Also, what ESC/Motor are good (or the best) for racing?

yes the ESC is the Mamba Monster Max.. the best combo for racing is the MMM 2200 combo for the most part. Depending on how much you want to spend you can get higher voltage equpiment but it's really not necessary. Thanks

I believe 7xl refers to one of the cheap motors from Feigao, I can't remember what exactly which kv the number means but the xl means it's the biggest size motor. I've got one of them in my revo but i can't remember which number i went for in the end : (

MM esc can work with a BEC running 4s lipo... but no MM motor will withstand this config. Not even a 4600 for very long. MM is actually a smaller size motor than the velineon, the velineon has quite a bit more torque than the regular MM's. Get the right stuff the first time to save money down the road :)

I wouldn't really recommend this setup, but yes with one vxl motor you only need 1 battery unless you ran a pair of 3s lipo's in parallel for longer run times. This setup is only good for about stock speeds and be mindful of temps. Highly suggest going w/ the MMM combo from Castle.

As stated before, just gear it WAY down.  35mph is about the max you want to run it, w/o an early death. I would still monitor temps.

The 3905 tranny is a 2nd only transmission no need to lock and built brushless ready. PS it is the same tranny that is in the new e-revo.

The erevo or even emaxx is 10-12 or more lbs with batteries.. that is the difference :)

Heat will get the best of you pushing it in a real race... that is all eventually the heat will start demagnetizing the rotor and she will be lost.. trust me, I did it ;P I would pick up a Neu 1515 motor (2.5d is an awesome racing motor! The 1y and 1.5d are also solid choices.

The max u can do is 36 miles or it will overheat lol. Its called a fan. U can easily do constant 70 mile+ as long as u have a good fan. Cus wats the point of doing slower speed than a stock E-revo does. I have a stock 1,and I do like 40 miles.

Sorry boss, a stock titan 550 setup running at 40 will be dead FAST.. LOL. The point wasn't anything other than it would work if it had to. I run a Neu 1515 1.5d capable of 50mph on a 4s lipo config, over 60 w/ 6s :P Brushless = no burnt titans as well, those titans die fast where the brushless set to the right speed the little single velineon would get you the same top speed, and last a VERY long time.

This was with a Maxamps 3s2p 8000mAH lipo. Even with this config the most you can do safely with the velineon motor is about 36mph, any more and you'll be overheating constantly.

Just keep it geared around 35mph and it will hold up fine.

May want to snag a Medusa 70mm 2200kv motor when they release in a couple weeks.. running on 4s lipo it will be amazing... and they are only 120 direct. Castle is about to drop their v3 MMM that is ready to go or you could always use a MM w/ a BEC to run the 4s config.

Check my recent videos, my Neu 1515 1.5d on 4s does about 50, on 6s with out changing gearing I was at 62 gps'ed. If I drop the spur to 54t I'll be at 70mph w/ my erevo :)

You should see it with my Neu 1515 1.5d, on 4s there is no nitro that can keep up with me let alone when I strap in 6s! LOL this toy ownz the nitro, but at least you have the nitro sounds and nitro mess to clean up :)

i set up my revo with a single velineon and it's amazing. i tried it with a mamba max with the 5700kv motor and it got waaay to hot waaay to fast. (both setups with 11.1v lipos). Velineon's the way to go.

with a vxl system in my e-maxx i broke 45 with it. but it was hot and didnt get much run time. and a mamba max, feigao, and twin 2s lipo packs would cos ta lot mroe than a vxl on 3s. but i wouldnt recomend the vxl. its not the best thing for a heavy revo...

I would only use this motor geared for 35mph, it will be pretty torquey and it will last for a good amount of time. Yes, stick with a 3s lipo config for max voltage and lowest temps. It wouldn't cost much more for a better setup though, a mamba max esc with a castle creations external BEC on a Fiegao 8XL and two 2s lipo's (4s in series) would be a MCUH better config and get you around 45mph.
