Why would anyone compare it with Lexus? The Accord is much cheaper than a Lexus, and not at the same level. If anything, compare an Acura with a Lexus.
Lexus is in the same low end luxury as this car the IS300 is priced about the same and makes around the same power but is heavier, my accord(not TSX) is faster than a IS300 :) and a BMW 325i
OK; but I think the Honda Accord is in the penultimate class of the honda series (the highest being the Honda Legend). Fairly, Honda Accord should be compared with the Lexus GS series (which probably have more technical specifications). Nonetheless, the honda accord accelerates from 0-60mph in about 5.7-7.5 seconds while the Lexus IS does it in 5.5 seconds (which is slightly faster) and the IS has more technical specs. than the Accord.
compare apples to apples dude... you cant expect a car that cost way more to perform the same as a cheaper car... acura makes entry to middle class luxury cars. if you want to compare a car to the GS, compare the 300 HP RL to it, or even better the TL. the TSX (accord) is just a base model similar to a IS 250...

both acuras and hondas are sold in the US. this is the acura tsx model. i think there is a mugen accord model which mimics this one.
