  • What is it you stinking martial artists who get your black belt in like a year and a half I mean seriously...that`s just sloppy I have been taking TKD for 5 years (the traditional style the real hard kind) and still not Black and it took our whole school at least 3-4 years till they got to black...drives me nuts, lol just sayin. not a bad video though.

  • @agt20111 I know what your saying.. it took me 6 years of training before I got mine. Now I cant test for the next degree for another two years because it require's so many hours of training. The schools that promote black belts in a year are just in the business for the money. They dont care if their students suck or not. But it makes my life easier at tournaments so you know.. whatever. lol

  • @32KarateGuy yeah your probably right its just ugh,lol Most MA schools aren`t what they used to be,lol but I see where tournaments would be easier :)

  • @agt20111 hahahaha, yeah. I usually do well. There's a guy who owns a school and was promoted to his rank in a year and a half. Meaning that I was in Martial Arts for five and a half more years than him. But he tries to preach down to me and it pisses me off a little sometimes. lol. I dont even talk to him. You meet a lot of good people in Martial Arts, but you'll also meet a lot of idiots who just bullshit their way through it all. I cant stand the bullshitters. lol

  • After 7 years of TKD, I can say I've seen better from some green belts... -_-

  • @haihaixasxas i think you dun know sumthing but taekwondo was created in shilla (korean ancient country 1500 years ago,) there are even proofs of this

  • 1:18 owned

  • @Nyiorills explain yourself wanker

  • @Niyorills well, did you know that TKD started about at least 1500 years ago in korea? and also TKD is in the olympic games but karate is not

  • @MangoBeer fuck you!! karate will be in olympic in this year.the founder of teakwondo was a 2nd Dan black belt of shotokan and learnt from master gishin funakoshi in japan.he set up the teakwondo in 50's.how you can say that TKD started about 1500 years go.i think this left guy (TKD) will lose to a karate champion, raphaeal ahgayev!!!..

  • @haihaixasxas

    no ur not right lol

and karate will not be in olympic this year

  • 1:19 VICTORY KICK!!!!

  • @algizsiegst por que no cantai la historiA entera?...quien es el victor? que arte marcial hace?... que puedes aportar en este video??? saludos

  • Jiu jitsu rapes every fighting style except for wing Chan.

  • TKD is fake . karate is true

  • @Niyorills you wont be saying that if a True TKD martial artist gives you a Spinning Hook kick to your face before you try a gay ass punch. SMH Taekwondo is WAYY BETTER !

  • 240p here we meet again!

  • mmmm eso fue sucio :P

  • I... lol'd at the end of this video.

  • What fucking karate was that that was awful

  • jajajaja, el taewondoin aprovecho muy bien la orden del juez, jajaja, el karateka se descuido terriblemente jajaja

  • BAHAHAHAH at the end flying ninja kick!!!!

  • TKD absolutly suck!!! Had to go back to 1992 to find a TKD who won a match!!!

  • THEY WERE BOTH SHITTY but to admit it ONLY IN THE VIDEO taekwondo was better

karate was to defensive AND HOLY SHIT 1:21

  • @uberman46 never mind they both suck

  • Taekwondo teachesyou to be the biggest pussy on the earth im sorry though

  • @uberman46 and why do you think that Taekwondo sucks it is not the art it is the fighter

  • Taekwondo is awesome, have been doing it since...... a year I think (I'm not sure) and now I'm already in a Brown Belt. I am so EXITED to get the BLACK BELT :D

  • Comment removed

  • Taekwon do is BEAST!!! I've been taking it for a year and im already half way to a blackbelt but ive still got all the degrees to go

  • @TF2Huntsman dude no matter what rank you are u are u so pretty much a green belt in taekwondo is= to an orange belt TO LET ME SPECIFY CUZ I DUNNO RANKS

    ORANGE= RANK 3

    GREEN= RANK 6

  • @TF2Huntsman

    *cough* mcdojo *cough*

  • @TF2Huntsman I'm sorry man but you cannot be a black belt in 2 years. i love it as well i know what i am talking about. i have been taking it for 8 long ass years. it takes at least 4-5 years to get your first degree. I've been taking it for 8 years and I'm only a second degree. you and i have a lllooooooonnnnggg way to go. TEAKWONDO FTW!!

  • @TF2Huntsman You're already half way to Black Belt in only a year?

  • @TF2Huntsman

as a Karate student of roughly the same level, I wish you luck my friend

  • @TF2Huntsman u see dumbcunt taekwondo, its easy to get black belt, u have no real skill or experience.

  • @0333nwp1288 Don't brand all of Tae Kwon Do for his instructors stupidity. I was in Tae Kwon Do six long years before I got my black belt. I'm currently just a 1st degree and will be for two years. Not all TKD schools give blackbelts out like candy.

  • Tik Tac To is for weenies, Karate is where its at! Also both these guys are REALLY BAD Martial-artists.

  • @XArticRageX Dont judge it unless you have tried it..taekwondo has some pretty cool kicks also karate has its good points too :)

  • @linzi166m I did when I was 8 at the same time I had been doing Karate for 3 years, I got to be a brown belt in 7 months then I quit... its soo easy

  • @XArticRageX Its not how easy it is, its learning about a sport, and self defense a belt does not matter in martial arts. do you see other belts in martial arts except tkd and karate?

  • @iAMKr3wNinja Yea but I think it's stupid in Taekwondo when you see 12 year old black belt teaching 30 year old white belts how to kick instead of learning more. In Karate at the Dojo I go to and all of the ones I've been to that teach Okinawan Shuri-Ru Karate there is either a 16 or an 18 year old limit where you cant be a black belt until that age, and if you manage to even be able to make it to black belt in 10 years you are highly skilled.

  • @XArticRageX Ive been doing Karate for 8 years and I'm only a purple stripe, I have 3 and a half more ranks till black belt

  • @XArticRageX THANK YOU SO MUCH SOMEONE FINNALY UNDERSTANDS

  • @XArticRageX they're 10X better than you buddy

  • @Hem3fiction Not really... they have awful technique and stances... I actually know technique and stances

  • @XArticRageX yeah you know these techniques and stances but im pretty sure they do it better than you

  • @Hem3fiction Not really.... the Karate guy has no guard, he's like air humping the entire time and the taekwondo guy's guard is WAY to loose, the taekwondo guy's back is never straight like it should be and the karate guy's back isn't much better.

  • @XArticRageX honestly i think there both just not trying acting or they are just bad because i do karate MAIN PRIORITY HANDS UP idk bout taekwondo

  • @uberman46 Maybe and I agree about the hands up.. always keep your guard

  • @XArticRageX tic tak to? is that wat u guys do at karate?!? i dont see karate at the olympics! its alll taekwondo!!

  • @chinad355 For your info Karate is going to be in the olympics so i think you doing tic tak to? Think before what you say. If you don't believe me go look facts, karate replaced baseball. :)

  • @chinad355 taekwondo is used more for showing off......

  • @XArticRageX ARGEE

  • karateka de merda, kyokushin, e quebro as duas pernas desse taekwondo que so sabe voar, hahahahaha, arte marcial fraca!

  • Come tkd dufe u gotta represent

  • @swazzer22 the karate guy should have stayed attention, the ref put them back into the fight, a legal blow and the karate fighters own fault

  • Tkd sucks in this one!

  • Keep's you fit thats for sure and is a great self defense if you're female like me ;D

  • VERY, VERY NICE !! ty

  • Cool !!

  • thumbs up if u think 0:27 was a real fight

  • that mother fucker's cheating & I hardly like to use vulgarity in cyberspace.I practice both arts,if its street fight,I'll call this smarts, but in competition with the other guy hardly ready, what tucking his gi,that's cheating & the TKD guy must not only be barred, but be censured, jeered & told of his lowly unsportsman demeanor, He is not worth being adressed martial exponent,Ptui!,I spit on U,lowly urchin.

  • @beaggyboy I dont think so. The karate guy was still on the fighting area and had like half his guard up. Maybe he should have been more prepared.

  • @dlwogh1009 heh2,Tnks for responding so decently,U must be a Budoka or a religiously devout person who's polite, unlike some from North America who just love to participate only to just F*** & ridicule others simply over individual opinions,At what U pointed out,I'll go over it again, probably U 'r right.Anyhow Kte guys out there we in truth, cant appropriate the kicks.Sinz Kores(TaeKwun) learnt hand techniques fr.Japs,it's only logical to adapt & improve by studying TKD methods, minusing impractics

  • TaekWando is my favorite karate shit!!!! TaekWando Rulls!

  • @1VirSUS1 ,please man show some respect to the other martial arts

  • please, show some respect to ther other martial arts

  • Fixing up his gi to avoid fight and earn time to get a breath

  • 190 people are do karate

  • What was that last kick??? The guy on the right was attacked while he fixed up his Gi.

  • last hit was cheap as hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • dumbasses there the same martial arts except Karate was fomred in Japan and TKD was formed in Korea. Nowadays people are adding and removing moves.

  • @DAKING355 Really? Last time I checked, TKD uses 85% kicks in their style while Karate uses 60-40 Punch-Kick. How could they be the same style? They both originated from China.

  • @niko111993 You have to understand the politics behind Traditional martial arts. China, Japan, Korea, Thailand, and others love to BS about thier history. This includes MA history. They truly believe they are at the center of the universe and they thought of everything. Truthfully speaking TKD is Korean karate period. They took karate, copied it word for word, and called it something else. Hudo, hapkido, Korean sword arts, ect are all taken from Japanese judo, akido, and kendo.

  • @niko111993 The TKD and karate you see today is not the same thing you would see in the 1960s and before. TKD and karate have nothing to do with the battle field or samurai arts. Karate (Okinawin) was a "empty handed" system meant to fight off cruel and armed Feudal lords. It was derived from traditional jujutsu training. Not the BJJ/JJ you see today, Traditional-which was a complete system. As for the "empty handed" part, well lets just say some believe katas make more sense if you are wearing-

  • @ikcjjtt Yes I agree. And by the way, I know the differences between Modern Martial arts and Traditional, as I have been in the Traditional way. It is 70% different in terms of overall performance. Traditional focuses more in self-defence and death blows. Just for the picture, I have been taught Trad. Judo and Tei (Karate). I like how you are aware of things in this art. Kudos to you.

  • @niko111993 armor and carrying weapons. No one fights like katas today, and i doubt they did it back then either. Now if you are carrying a spear, wearing armor, it makes more sense to move to a deep front stance and stab with a "punch", which was really a spear-or maybe a farm tool. Since many were farmers back then. Many traditional Karate weapons are actually based off of farm tools. Thats why we trained with weird weapons that ake years to master, rather than a sword, thats meant for killing.

  • where is karate?? both taekwondo players, right?

  • @lequiogoles right player is karate

  • @blackbelt807 then he doesn't know karate at all. looks both taekwondo to me.

  • @lequiogoles the deskription lies then

  • i was actually disqualified once in a mixed martial art tournament versing someone from karate because my kicks were too fast and too hard.

  • @swyerboy wow THAT KID WAS A PUSSY or the judges are to hard on u bro

  • karate al day

  • But yes, TKD is a beautiful art. Nothing wrong in learning that. I'm just saying, that in a real life situation, without rules, penalties, armors, helmets and shin guards, it is difficult to use TKD styles.

  • @niko111993 still the taekwondo training inkludes self defense and in my itf taekwondo trainings there are no armors just a helmet and gloves and som wierd things that looks like boots but i agree it is hard to do a tornado kick on the street lol

  • @blackbelt807 in my karate its certified at national law to wear gear

  • @niko111993 There are different kinds of TKD, 1. Traditional [Strongest] 2. Olympic [The one you're talking about] 3. Tricks [For Show] 4. Self Defense [What you're missing].

  • tae kwon do where its at. The Legs are the most powerful part of the body and the ability to master kicks in combat makes it all the more lethal

  • @PeteyPobz93 as I've mentioned a wee bit,a day earlier that I engage in both TKD & Karate,in fact I'm like multitudes of others, bit of a MA nutcase (no,not intended to brag in anything machismo or open for debate on who knows whuts) but I'm in agreance w/U on mastering kicks, renders lethality. I started out w/Karate & had a fortunate opportunity to fight friendly w/ a TKD exponent, had much difficulty in approaching, much less landing punches, this owing to the leg having longer reach & has a high

  • @PeteyPobz93 (cont)-er impact value,I actually felt I lost, though we stopped midpoint Bcoz it's a friendly,I brought this to my Classical form Dai-Sensei's attention,he brushed it aside, concluding I wasnt aggressive enuf & didnt chance on opportunities, probably true.I sensed K has urgent need to've Geriwaza, but it to my understanding,is but too limited & mostly being sweeps,TKD's are very acrobatic & certain are highly affective, but mostly are impractical exhibitionism even exposing dangerously

  • Fucking reff in the way

  • esto fue en ecuador. 1992

  • imposible no comentar esa ultima patada, increible I love tkd!

  • taekwondo is better

  • im black belt in taekwondo but ill start kyokushin.. i want full contact..so yeah, kyokushin is the best full contact martial art for me..its all bout the fighter..taekwondo and karate are the best martia arts for me since taekwondo is based on shotokan

  • w00p tae kwando pwns :D

  • the think is that to get black belt in tae kwon do you need 3 years in karate u need like 10 years

  • @TheUnseenBefore nope you need almost 11 years to get black belt in taekwondo

  • Wow, and even in that impressive jump karate guy did the block, so no matter how the spectators can be impressed by the jump, the goal was not reached...

Yet: I agree with many finding taekwondo very impressive... I would add: as ballet!

  • Karate is better.

  • the last kick was fucking wicked

  • taekwondo is awesome!

  • taekwondo is my heart

  • @marinekid81 Some styles, such as the ones taught in the Korean military, do teach grapples. But I don't even see why grapples would be so critical. Kick someone in the head, knock them out, and they won't be in any condition to grapple. It really depends on personal style. I do TKD and yes I have gotten into actual fights before and won them. And MMA is based on grappling that's like saying basketball tactics suck because they won't work in baseball.

  • @JebusLee Sorry dude. I don't think TKD will help you much in a close quarter combat. Take it from me. 2 TKD Black belts tried bullying me last week. Both of them are in the hospital now, ICU.

  • @niko111993 You're personal experiences aren't a guidebook for everyone. I have use TKD numerous times successfully. I don't care how hard you are a good kick in the head will down you quickly. And if you're good you can do it consistently. And if those two were bullying you they were just frauds who learned from some hack who sold them the belts. Real TKD emphasizes self-defense, not assault. Several people from my class were expelled for abusing it.

  • @JebusLee True, my experience is not a guidebook for everyone...so is yours. Yes, a good kick in the head will down some quickly, I know that because I've done it numerous times before. A good consistent kick to the head is very effective, that is if you can do it cleanly and with accuracy.

  • @JebusLee What I'm saying is, TKD ALONE is not enough. Even if you are a Master of that art, self-defense for life-to-death fights is way more complex than just pushing and kicking to the head. Try kicking people with guns.

  • @niko11199 If someone has a gun almost any martial art is going to fail you can't single TKD out on that. And I never said TKD is the supreme martial art, it has weaknesses like any other martial art. I just think that people unfairly criticize it too much. I've studied other martial arts as well and incorporate techniques that I find useful, but TKD is the basis for my fighting style and I usually don't lose any fights I get into.

  • Comment removed

  • @niko111993 well traditional arts-especially TKD, karate, and kung fu styles, tend to earn thier criticisims. Even within thier own communities. And they are not baseless claims either. Most schools of TKD, karate, and kung fu are trained as games, rather then fighting. My capoeira group (ironic, considering capoeira is trained as a game as well), were talking about this a few hours ago. At least we admit our training is a game, and trained as such. Traditional arts admit its fighting, yet-

  • @niko111993 they train it as a game. With point sparring, wierd rules, ineffective/fake techniques (like a back fist to the top of the head), ect. Of course not all traditional arts train this way, but most do. Hence why when MMA came around none of these styles made it past the basic ground and pound technique that doesnt take any training to do at all. But now some schools are starting to see the light. hence why we have MMA champions of traditional origins: Lyoto Machida, Cung Lee,ect.

  • @ikcjjtt I get your point. That is why MMA was formed, because some art alone is not sufficient. You also have to admit, MMA is a lot more interesting than studying a single style alone; knowing that in some points, other styles may see your weaknesses. And isn't the point for learning Martial arts is to defend yourself? Why do they train it as a game then?

  • @niko111993 MMA was actually formed originally to see what works. In the early matches of MMA, most people only knew one style, and some won. Its why the Gracies got so famous. It wasnt until the strikers decided to just learn escapes from certain locks that striking became prominate. And then true MMA as born.In fact i shouldnt call the early matches MMA at all, it was more vale tudo. And the original point of martial arts was to learn how to fight, but today they evolved, or "devolved" into-

  • @niko111993 sport, fittness, self defense, artistic (xma, ect.), meditation (tai chi), and more. And there is nothing wrong with that. As long as you know what you are getting into. A single style is efficient if you just want to learn fittness kickboxing, karate point sparring, meditiation,or certain forms of self defense. Most MArtist are not aiming to be a MMA world champion. And thats ok, the problem occurs when you teach sport or artistic movement as actual fighting. Thats when issues occur.

  • You can use it for bad. Just because YOUR school taught it correctly doesn't mean everyone does. I am not a jerk, I use to train Kempo, and my instructor incouraged us to use it on people that "deserved" it and he actually told us when and where to use it so we won't get in trouble with the police, and techniques to use in court to get in the least trouble if we hurt someone. I don't train there anymore and now train MMA (Mostly Jujitsu) but there are bad people who know martial arts...

  • @marinekid81 OK hotshot get into a fight with a TKD master. See if you can counter their kicks.

  • lolololololol at the end

  • TAEKWONDO CHEAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! .

    FUCKER .

  • @marinekid81 how?

  • I wanna sign up for TKD now but everyone talks shit on it.

  • @FunkyPopeye Do it and ignore the people who talk shit about it. Most likely they're just some idiotic troll with no martial arts experience whatsoever. Real practitioners don't spend time trash talking other martial arts.

  • @JebusLee sweet thanks

  • @FunkyPopeye No problem. As a TKD practitioner it annoys me when people bad mouth it.

  • translate it

    sebenarnya taekwondo is lose

but taekwondo cheating in last time

  • taekwondo and karate are both really good i respect all martial arts the same

  • taekwondo is a load of shite

  • @rtyush kk you come over to my dojo and lets talk about that?

  • @assassin4359 i do shotokan karate :)

  • ahahahahaha

    :D

    brutal...

    mantap ngana kawan...

    :D

    fantastik...

    (y)

  • karate is fucking asshole. karate is just trash. shut the fuck off japanese motherfucker

  • @DCInside100

    stupid kid

  • karate pwns tkd

  • ive taken karate and now im currently taking taekwondo and i can honestly say that ive learned more from TKD. However you cant judge a martial art by which other martial art it can beat, but you can only judge a fighter by which other fighter he can beat

  • in 13 and im a black belt :)

  • @xElmoFTW You're the stereotypical TKD fighter, paying their way into a black belt. If you're talking about karate, you're lying.

  • @ExNoctemNacimur you know why taekwondo is played in Olympic? Karate is more effective than taekwondo in actual fight regardless of place n space to fight. Btw this is coming from black belt karate who beat two taekwondo in crowded mall!

  • @hotwater80 Again, those are just opinions. You can be a black belt whatever, I've seen black belts from Karate lose to Black Belts from TKD, and vice versa. It's the fighter, not the martial art.

  • yomammaonastick You do have a point, but if you kick sombody in the head their out for the whole match

  • taekwondo = kicks

    karate= punches

legs are stronger than arms. I like taekwondo.

  • @Virginiaboy131 its easier to reach someones face with your hands though. kicking me in the leg isnt gunna do nearly as much damage as me punching you in the jaw

  • All the dislikes are of karate lovers

  • Portuguese in Brazil

Caraca mano que voadora, no karate é yoko tubi gueri. Nossa!

    U.S. English

A blow one incredible kick in the air, Karete is called yoko tubi gueri. Cool!

  • there is probably a reason why taekwondo is an olympic sport and karate isn't

  • @ExNoctemNacimur It's because Karate didn't get enough votes.

  • @wajalama and it got less votes because . . .

  • @ExNoctemNacimur I'm too lazy to explain all the details, just go look it up :\

  • @wajalama details? its because taekwondo is better

tae is kicking, karate is punching

  • @SirHungryHippo I never said anything about TKD or Karate being better. I was just telling the other guy to look up why Karate didn't qualify as an Olympic sport :\

  • @wajalama what im saying is that taekwondo is better because it was voted as an olympic sport

btw this is coming from a black belt taekwondo guy so ...

  • @ExNoctemNacimur You do know that I practice TKD also, right?

  • @wajalama then why support karate?

  • @ExNoctemNacimur Okay, this is getting off track. First off, I never said ANYTHING about supporting Karate. All I told you was the reason why Karate didn't qualify as an Olympic sport. That's it.

  • Taekwondo is garbage...

  • feet of furyyyyah

  • u guys know that even karate was created by korean.

  • Look, taekwondo guy cowardly attached before the Referee said "Fight!".

  • watch the ref right before he jump kicks him the ref signles to fight

  • taekwondo champion
