I am doing stand up this Wednesday for the first time. I went to many stand up shows and saw many acts. I am developing material, but I don't my material to be long boring life stories. I would rather focus on topics and form my opinions about them in a humous way. It might be more risky, but I would would rather perform my ideology rather than my life story.

ok soo im 13 years old and trying to get into the comedy buissnes people r always saying how pepole are getting found on youtube so im gonna put some comedy vids up but all the talent that gets found is singers how do i get noticed?

I'm 16 and I do stand up comedy, my advice is to not focus on being noticed just focus on being good. get your routine polished and by the time your 21 and they let you in the clubs then you'll be way ahead of the guys that start at 21! good luck man!
