Generally speaking I like shaved, and partially shaved, heads on women. Like most hairstyles, there are some that it just doesn't work for, from an appearence standpoint. In your case, it works and I like it. Your boyfriend is a lucky man.
My experience is that much of life involves the bell shaped curve. If you have average hair, most people will think it is ok. If you have extreme hair, the vast majority may not like it but there will be some that LOVE it. It all depends on what you want. And, as with anything, there are fetishers that ONLY love wild hair/bald women. It all depends on your goal...do you want to be liked by the masses or adored by the few? Personally, I like wild hair.
