  • I love your choice of tempo; the exploration becomes more a movement/transition- effect for me. Very nice interpretation. It stands well, on its own and need not be compared. Thanks for the gift of this link.

  • I love your choice of tempo; the exploration becomes more a movement/transition- effect for me. Very nice interpretation.

  • Nice rubato though.

  • The intentions of the piece managed to shine through, but you were playing too fast. The Gnossienes should be s_l_o_w so they can breathe.

  • Surely the Gods was listening around that evening - and one of them sent this perfect wind to carry the hairs and the music together.

  • Aw, wish I could have heard the whole thing. I really enjoyed it.

  • Alessandra************again

    Wonderful performance!!

    Antonio

  • Alessandra Celetti is the queen of Satie performances. I always hated when Gnosienne no. 4 was played so... s. l. o. w. l. y.

  • Beautiful ..........you play so lovely

  • c'est si court....et si bien interprété !!

  • Magnifica Alessandra

ti voglio bene quando suoni così

  • I always love to hear Allessandra play Satie. As always, her deep love and respect and communion with the composer shines radiantly. Her pretty, funky clothes, whispy hair and the lovely breeze of nature add even more magic to something surely already magical. Wish I could have been there!

  • Bellissimo! Thumbs up! again

    Antonio

  • TUp!

    Wonderful, magic!

    Antonio

  • yes there is a connection between the masters of today and yesterday...

this video is the same dream satie had as a child

    bravo

    douglas

  • Tup!

    Alessandra

I watched your performance this time and time again and feel more and more the beauty of your performance. The scenario of a windy day brought even more magic in this video. Applause!

    Antonio

  • BRAVO , very impressing performance! KRISTIN

  • Satie more often than not eliminated bar lines and even time signatures to allow the player the option of mood and tempo. A charming rendition.

  • Alessandra **********

    Wonderful interpretation !!

    Antonio

  • meravigliosa.....

  • happy valentine's day,, alessandra so much joy you always bring to the lonely...

    bravo

    douglas

  • bravissima Alessandra

  • BRAVO!!!! - Robson dos santos brazilian contemporary classic music composer. From Brazil

  • La più intensa interpretazione di Satie che abbia mai ascoltato...

  • satie's darker side...

  • One of the best pianists alive. She has more emotion on her playing than some of the most famous ones.

  • Qui avait invoqué ce vent si parfait ?

  • Erik would be so touched he would weep upon hearing this. Giro di valzer per domani

  • Fatina!

  • bella !

  • enchanted by your play! Hope it was more...

  • Grandissima musica del "folle" Satie. Grande interpretazione

  • Muy rápido, sí, pero creo que le da más entendimiento a este movimiento de los gnossiennes

  • Fabulous!

  • Atmosfera magica!

    GRANDE Alessandra

  • demasiado rapido

  • your interpretation is sooo mysterious.....

    complimenti!

  • arrrghhh ! trop court ! There is a classic piano festival, "la roque d'anthéron" which is in south of France, outside at night in summer. May be it was there ?

  • davvero brava!

  • Bellissima atmosfera! Troppo breve...

  • Momento magico anche per gli orecchi raffinati.

  • Bellissima l'atmosfera..

    Bravissima Alessandra Celletti

    Grande Satie!

  • I really liked this version quite well. Such a perfect match to the look of the performer and the atmosphere. I felt like the music was written for this night. Great job.

Now if you could only post more than the fragment.... :)

  • Wow. You are quite good. Okay, maybe a bit fast. But too many squares play it too slow, like some morbid Romantic dirge. This was piece is the first Blues ever put to paper. You seem to dig that.

  • much too fast OMG, nice dynamics though

  • Thank you!

  • @sensorns actually i prefer it slightly faster

  • @sensorns I don't think it's too fast. As far as I know, Satie left very wide room for interpreation. And yes, the dynamics are fantastic. Wonderful playing - I love it.

  • @sensorns I disagree; this piece has to be played at this tempo else it drags. Listen to some other renditions on YouTube; they're not as good as this.

  • @GJ0KYZ @alesscell and @Sensenwerk Now 4 years later I have to admit that my initial opinion was off. It is indeed a wonderful flow! Now it has become one of my favourites! Well done

  • la più sorprendente interpretazione della musica di Satie!

  • bellissimo!

  • SUPER!
