I've been reading bits of 'On some faraway beach - life & times of Brian Eno' and according to that Eno was working in NYC on this and Bowie's 'Lodger' around the same time. The book is great, by the way, really well written.
no wonder i,m so weird all my life ,its from being fuckin so tripped out on the heads, met david bryne once, weird experience, never meet your idol, never
@TheWillahern The Talking Heads sure are weird, they give relief to many other 'weird' people, don't they? :) My idea's about meeting an idol: Recognizing views or experiences, or even having a connection on soullevel, is something totally different than socializing. Many artists don't relate to people in a common way, it has to do with their solistic position. And dealing with admirers is psychologically almost impossible. So don't think it's your mistake :).
@3DDoor I met iggy pop, david bowie, nico, laurie anderson, patti smith, morrissey, doctor and the medics, the cult, the manhattan transfer: for me nice experiences to meet nice person. Sure they are artistical products of this society but human being too and if they are not able to relationship with the other ones, then... it's better for them to go home, have a normal job and learn how to live in this world.
what is happening to my skin - it's tingling to fuck - because i'm listening to this amazing tune..

I remember working at Taco Bell in summer 1980 and having a tough time and this song filled my mind and suddenly I was employee of the month.

I didn't know this album. What a great song, 'intelligently airy' in a beautiful way,
sort of a characterictic of David Byrne.
