A great job, nice to know some decent people are out there in life and wont just stand around watching "pretty" flames fly out of a window. Glad to know you helped the cats as well :D
@iKellyannee THANKYOU, X, THIS SAME FIRE RESCUE FILM IS ON TV AGAIN, NEXT THURSDAY, 8PM, CHANNEL 5, 19TH JAN, (WORLDS GREATEST HEROES) IF YOU GET ENGLISH TV IN SUNNY SPAIN THEN PLEASE WATCH IT. THANKS AGAIN.
@FlamingTurtleHeadz this fire rescue is back on tv again, next thursday , 8pm, channel 5, THE WORLDS GREATEST HEROES, everybody needs to watch it.thanks.
verry good neighbors, that is first aid !!! thanks for this video; is ok when i take that in my german rescueshool for learning ? verry good reaktions from all persons there, so is the life save, thanks ;o) best regards from germany fireengine, and emergency meadical rescue services for peoples and animals ;o) thanks. we whish you all time the best !
What a fantastic effort by these fellas, they certainly deserve official recognition from the fire service for their actions. Take the negative comments with a pinch of salt, the majority of these people are "Internet Wannabes" who in reality hide behind their computers. Geniune Firefighters on here would congratulate you, not criticise.
Wooow, Incredible rescue guys!! Its a shame there is so many negative views from Wanna-be Public servicemen like @simonm29 . You did everything you could to save lives, and prevent death..Upmost respect for all of you involved, i think there should be a Fire Service award for people who go above and beyond to help others! Once Again, Great Rescue, and its nice to know there are people like you willing to sacrifice to help! :)
well done guys...im not a firefighter but work for the fire service and so respect the work the ff's do on a daily basis risking their necks to save others...you two should be commended for your courage and are a credit to your community :)
well done guys...im not a firefighter but work for the fire service and so respect the work the ff's do on a daily basis risking their necks to save others...you two should be commended for your courage and are a credit to your community :)
Hiya boys, I hope that you both will be rewarded with more than a couple of pints, both you boys aught to feel very proud of yourselves, you have put respect back into society where I lost, well done again guys you earned my respect :)
I just watched this today on Real Rescues. After hearing that you put this on Youtube I decided to search for it. Well done guys - you should be given some award from the Fire Brigade!!
@confranman. thanks m8t, this film is guna be on the bbc program REAL RESCUES, june the 9th, 11am, bbc 1, i wont say more than that, watch it and you will see it for real. pass on the word.cheers.
Typical Walter, if she had shut the door and put a blanket or duvet at the bottom of the door like we advise during a fire safety check she wouldn't have had to jump out of a first floor window at the behest of you numpties. Leave the dangerous work to the professionals that know what we're doing.
@simonm29 I have to say simon, if you really are one of us you would be happy for these boys to have done what they did. I really am finding it hard to believe that you are huffing and puffing so loud about being a firefighter then criticizing the conduct of the victim and calling the rescuers names. We all know people panic...maybe she didn't think about a towel or blanket. Does it really matter? She was in distress and these guys saved her. Congrats to them, and you need to relax a bit.
@covewatcher years ago i had a chip pan fire, so threw a wet towel on it and turned the cooker off. I went in to panic mode when the wet towel went up in flames too! All common sense went out of the window and i picked up the pan to put it outside. People don't think when they panic, that woman was scared stiff, and seeing smoke pouring in is terrifying. It's extremely toxic too, people die from smoke inhalation. Get the free fire safety advice offered by the fire service, well worth having.
I have actually been into many houses that are on fire for my job as a firefighter. And there is no smoke coming out of the window so I find it hard to see why she couldn't breathe.
@simonm29 oh ok. wat ever you say. these are the facts for you mr fire fighter. THE OWNERS OF THE FLAT HAD OBVIOUSLY OPENED THEIR DOOR TO ESCAPE, WHICH FILLED THE STAIRWAY TO THE TOP FLOOR FLATS. THICK BLACK SMOKE WILL POOR OUT OF EVERY CRACK AND GAP. THE SMOKE WAS BLACK BLACK. IT WAS ALSO STARTING TO FLOW UNDER HER DOOR AND WAS FILLING HER FLAT WITH SMOKE. IF SHE HAD OPENED HER DOOR THE AIR SUCTION WOULD HAVE FILLED HER FLAT IN SECONDS. YOU ONLY NEED A FEW BREATHS OF TOXIC SMOKE TO PASS OUT.OK.
From what I could see the flat on fire was not the one that the people were "rescued" out of. Basically they could've stayed in their flat and would've been fine. They risked injury for no reason.
@simonm29 i quess that you havnt ever been in to a building that is on fire then, cos you would know that smoke is just as much of a killer as the fire and flames. maybe you should turn your volume up next time, then you might hear her say she couldnt breathe, and that i did go in to help them but the smoke was thick and black.ah well, there is always someone with a negative veiw.
@keekabo But she said they couldn't breathe because of the smoke, and it's a known fact that people that die in fires are killed by the smoke long before the flames ever reach them.
@iluffsnoopyaaf .if you are who i think you are then you are so welcome.it was nothing to us, but obviously it meant a great deal to you.i bet it was a shock to find out that the hole event has been on youtube without you knowing it huh, big suprise.lol. i hope you like the video. your appreciation means alot to me and dave. thankyou so much for your nice kind words. im just glad i found you the other day so i could pass on the great news. well alls well that ends well huh.
@JoeTheGamerBoi . no we arnt proud at all. its just human nature to do the rite thing when the time arrises, if we hadnt have acted like we did, someone may have got hurt or worse, and you cant stand around while someones life is in danger. thanks for the kind words tho.
@LiamGardner , thankyou freind, i just hope if i ever need help, someone will come and save me, god forbid that i ever get in a situation when ill need saving.
@Rolypoly118 ...... WE CHATTED TO THEM AT THE DOOR AND THEY SAID THEY WERE ALL OUT OF THE FLATS, THEN THE WOMAN COMES TO THE WINDOW SHOUTING, WE JUST HAD TO DO IT. WE AINT FROM THE AREA, JUST USEING THE SKATEPARK, RITE PLACE, RITE TIME, IF YOU KNEW THE AREA YOUD UNDERSTAND WHY NO 1 ELSE STEPPED IN, ITS A PLEASANT PLACE, I TOOK A RISK LEAVING MY CAMERA ALONE. CHEERS M8T
@ThisTakenDelusion . thanks. it was nothing, we had to do something as there wasnt anyone else around and you cant just stand there and watch other peoples lives go up in smoke.
