  • Hey, old fat rich white man...how about YOU sit down.

    99%

  • FANTASTIC !!!

    THAT WAS GREAT !!!

    WE ARE THE 99% !!!

She can't speak from the heart. She was only reading the script anyway.

  • 0.13 : That look is EPIC!!

  • I've seen two of these things now. You see, we can't understand you...what you're saying...it just sounds like a bunch of mumbling! And it's not really changing anything so it's really just a waste of time....well, and you look retarded. So good luck!

  • WE NEED TO ACT TO MAKE IT HAPPEN

Burton Kahn the Chairman of the Internet Action Party. I have opened a web site internet action party.org and have setup a party that can run against the Democrats and Republicans in November. Your voice to be heard on the ballot box. The party is completely democratic No special interest. We do not accept contributions, only a $10.00 membership dues.

Goals are to Eliminate Fraud and waste and create jobs and having all new blood in the Congress and Presidency.

  • @INTERNETACTIONPARTY

"Your voice to be heard on the ballot box"

    "$10.00 membership dues"

    loooooooooooooooooooooool

  • @lovecraftis1 Yeah except the Tea Party has never done that.

  • Karl Rove, Gerlado Rivera, Scott Walker, and a bunch of other politicos have been mic checked since this video was posted. I made a compilation of them, titled "Occupy vs. Top 1%" Check it out--it's always fun to see politicians acting off-prompter.

  • The time is upon us to realize we are not divided. . We are all part of the global human family, facing the same environmental and political threats and doing the best we can with the tools (and upbringing) we've been given. We can not be categorized into blue or red states, although there have been decades of strategized conditioning that would have us believe just that. There's a lot more to this story... I'd encourage those interested to watch the documentary, 'Thrive.' Peace to you all.

  • YOU GUYS ARE FUCK TARDS!! YOU GUYS ARE 99% RETARDED!!!! FUCK Y'ALL!!!! SHUT THE HELL UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Elementsorcerer4 YES ! FUCKTARD!

  • And all the nay-sayers could say was "sit down." A few decades of this corruption and you will wish you stood up too. But there will be nothing for you to do then.

  • @Elementsorcerer4 Many of these labor unions that are behind OWS hold much of the blame with jobs being shipped overseas. They're not alone in holding blame but the hypocrisy of unions backing the OWS movement cannot be overlooked. There are forums for public discourse but OWS is not interested in civil debate or even holding anyone other than the GOP responsible. It's quite easy to ignore and discredit anything coming from OWS.

  • @hatfisc As for the unions. You want me to say that there is corruption in unions. THERE IS CORRUPTION IN UNIONS. There is corruption in any large group of people that wield any sort of power. And now THEY are co-opting the OWS just like the Tea Party, making OWS just as easy to 'ignore and discredit' as the Tea Party was. And frankly, I don't remember the Tea Party taking too many GOP representatives to point. It was all about Dems and liberals. You want to talk about hypocrisy.

  • So it begins.

  • What is the probability that a group of losers, who can't even get a job or take responsibility for themselves, could tank the U.S. economy to force a new economic system? Will they leave it to the guys banging the drums? The addicts? Go home and update your resume because you're not going to accomplish shit laying around in your own scat.

  • UNIONS GAVE US THE WEEKEND!

  • @petiteAlicious Since you seem so victimized by this phantom 1% boogieman all you folks are bitching about. What's your story? Do you own a home? Do you have any credit? Are you a victim of an imaginary devil or are you a victim of your own free will? What has been taken from you? Who victimized you and are you one of these idiots who thinks a minimum wage job is supposed to take care of you and your 28 kids?

  • STAND UP!!!!!! AND STAY STANDING!!!!!!

  • @lovecraftis1 amen!!

  • Wow truly a voice of the people though. A voice louder than any wrong politician. Proud of u guys

  • WORLD REVOLUTION is the Marxist concept of overthrowing capitalism in all countries through the conscious revolutionary action of the organized working class. In many Marxist schools, such as Trotskyism, the essentially international character of the class struggle and the necessity of global scope are critical elements and a chief explanation of the failure of socialism in one country. The end goal is to achieve world socialism, and later, stateless communism.

    'World Revolution' @ Wikipedia

  • So OWS isn't a leftist movement? Even with the SEIU and other unions providing the muscle? Even with your treasured Jon Stewart calling it such? Who was the last Democrat that OWS mic checked? Obama recieves more political contributions from both the banks and big oil yet this "politically neutral" movement only unleshes their goons on the GOP. Who in the hell on the left is responsible for letting children execute their agenda? The whole world is indeed watching.

  • @hatfisc The Occupy movement and the 99% is NOT just an American movement...it is ALL OVER THE ENTIRE WORLD! GET CLUE! It is a movement for the working people of the WORLD!!!!! DUH!

  • @petiteAlicious A world wide movement? Which cause are you connecting this "movement" to? The Arab Spring? What the fuck are you talking about? If you want to call this movement "global" then you're part of the problem. If you live in the U.S., you're part of the global 1%. Which means you're a bigger hypocrite than you were when you thought you were an actual victim of something. Get a life.

  • @hatfisc Of course its a leftist movement. Its also more than that. Its a group of people who are fed up with greed, corruption, and profit mongering that continually says the working class has to sacrifice everything and get nothing in return. Its people who can't find work, people who have lost their jobs to ensure their bosses profits, people with jobs who can't provide for themselves or their families because providing a living wage is not profitable. Is it leftist? Yes. Is it wrong?

  • @Elementsorcerer4 The problem with the "leftist" part of it is the same messages about crony capitalism and bailouts were first put out there by the Tea Party. I'm no member but I have to aknowledge the vicious treatment they recieved when they were actually acting like the civil, law abiding group that this OWS claims to be. The same groups that are behind this movement are the same that diminished the Tea Party and called them extremists and racists. OWS is indeed all they projected on the TP.

  • @hatfisc Civil and law abiding? If someone in the OWS movement showed up with a gun to a rally do you think they would have been asked to leave? No, they would have been taken in handcuffs on site, no questions asked. I seem to recall several people in the Tea Party movement doing this. Any police force for that? No. And you wonder why things get violent at OWS. As for the diminishing of the TP, I disagree and say the GOP co-opted their message and turned them into something they were not.

  • Wow! A "mic check." Is that what democracy looks like? OWS and the rest of the left can get back to us once they've grown up.

  • RON PAUL!!!

  • You children are hilarious! You talk about peace while showing obvious hatred. You will never have peace and hate in the same space. You call people hateful names in your posts and you think you stand for peace. You present yourselves as a bunch of rebellious hypocrites. Your movement will be confined to a radical fringe and will never come near .09%, let alone 99%.

  • way 22 go! we are the 99%. this is a perfect way to show peaceful revolutions

    .

  • Way to go. Wake up and stop being brainwashed.

  • 15 Dislikes , Stop Hatin you Tea Party Assholes...

  • That is BAD ASSS

  • Keep up the good work

  • I was hoping mic checked was something different. :(

  • Keep occupying Occupiers - you're doing good works. Peaceful hauntings, toward a better decency for all. I love it.

  • Comment removed

  • fuck that cunt

  • i wonder how many mic checks they will be at the 2012 presidential debates

  • I just phoned Michele Bachmann's campaign headquarters and read them this message.

  • For the record, corporations and political action committees are not people.

  • EPIC FUCKING MIC CHECK

  • USA USA USA! OCCUPY EVERYTHING! this is what democracy looks like.

  • Oh shit, son! MIC CHECK

  • They say "Go home!"

    We say "Wait home?"

    They say "Get a job!:

    We say "What job?"

    They say "God bless America!"

    We say "America who?"

    #occupywallst

  • Peaceful democracy at its best!

  • @bdcarlisle10 Violation of Mrs. Bachmann’s first amendment rights at its best you mean? See, how us grown up’s make decisions about things is to close our mouths and listen to who is speaking. You will learn this later in life after you all grow up.

  • @maconsumner Because mature "grown ups" really handled themselves well during the town hall debates over healthcare. At least these individuals had a cohesive unified message that could be heard instead of a barrage of mudslinging from the audience that translates into a cluster fuck of sounds .The political rhetoric is mostly dictated by those that are the loudest and most outspoken. At least their rhetoric is many individual voices accumulating into one message.

  • @bdcarlisle10 "cohesive unified message"

Like when Nancy Pelosi said "we have to pass it to know what's in it" or perhaps when Sheila Jackson Lee stood in front of her constituent and ignored them pecking at her phone, or When Barney Frank stood up and insulted his constituent? Or could it be the fact that they ignored the overwhelming majority of the citizens when they passed the illegal law. BTW, the question should be in front of the SCOTUS soon and it will be thrown out 5-4.

  • @bdcarlisle10 You're comparing a town hall with anarchy in the streets? Those people at the townhall's had skin in the game. The majority of these OWS types are railing against banks and corporations. Funny considering I would bet they have no mortgage, no stocks, few if any bills, no 401k, ya know?.............NO SKIN IN THE GAME!!!

  • First, I am no fan of Michelle Bachmann, and she is an idiot. But I think nothing can be achieved by stamping out her voice; remember we should also protect her freedom of speech. Let her speak, I would say, and let her prove herself a fool.

  • Damn, what I wouldn't give to have been there! <3

  • and turned this Nation into a Police State is stale and leaves a bast in the mouth of true freedom. For those who are still voting in this rigged CF, I would definately recommend supporting Ron Paul in 2012

  • And as usual, Patriotarded Americans just scream "shut up!" and "sit down!" at dissention to the bought, paid for, and kosher approved 'message' from our corrupt and Zionist polititions.

The day of "Democracy" exported by bombs and murder should be over.

So-called "Democracy" as defined by the entrenched establishment who has free reign over our phones conversations and personal life, and has introduced the Stasi-like Patriot Act

  • The ones who are yelling "Sit Down USA!" are the same tea partiers bussed in by corporate Koch Bros. to shout "USA! USA!" disrupting the healthcare townhall meetings

  • Run away like the good little tool of wall st. you are Michelle. All you do is preach the same old busted rhetoric, just like Bush, Obama, Nasty Pelosi, Orange Boner, Romney, and Cantor.. The same fuckheads that got us into the mess.. Mic Check them all!

  • PURE AWESOMENESS!

  • I have a feeling MIC CHECK will last into the next generation.

  • Smells like Revolution is coming - hope it is non-violent!

  • USA?

What a bunch of Fascist morons - bet they are not from the 1%.

    Tools of the 1%!

  • Maybe Occupy should have shouted "USA" along with the clones for a while, and then resumed when their attention span stopped spanning.

What better way to dispel the anti-american smear that totalitarians have alway applied to real americans.

Everyone who came to this continent has been horribly abused, not by the natural natives, but by the established former Europeans who, say, ran Boston when the Irish were coming over, or the Italians.

    Every immigration's a goon-gauntlet!

  • A successful disruption.

What matters most is that the human microphone sort of prevails.

I work in crowded rooms doing media work such as sound reinforcement at rallies and lectures. This is bad showbiz, and politics is, unfortunately, show biz.

Bachmann is a deer in the headlights, didn’t see this coming. Had no plan.

She can't handle real politics, This IS REAL POLITICS, and she's useless as a slab of bacon at the podium.

YES, THE DEMOPUBLICAN CANDIDATES ARE THAT INCOMPETENT.

  • Politicians are NOT good leaders, they are 'good' talkers ...we've been hijacked by political pooh, It's time to head for the pilot's cabin, before time runs out !

  • what's with those bachmann supporters shouting USA?

  • this is what a revolution looks like!

  • this is what a revolution looks like!

  • I'm so proud of every single one of you. Why didn't we do this during my undergrad years. We are the 99%!

  • @biaynilitoglendale

Maybe you guys weren't enabled in your stupidity via the internet.

  • Comment removed

  • get it occupy! :D

  • I don't think they know what to protest. Not the smart 99%

  • I don't think they know what to protest.

  • If anyone thinks that they will gain my support by repeating the speaker's line, they are nuts!

  • SWAG..

  • This was awesome, She is an embarrassment to my home state. ~~Amy~~

  • what a chicken shit she is.. walking out like shes afraid shes gonna get pepper sprayed lmao.. what a dumb bitch she should back out of the race since she wont even get more votes than ron paul

  • Mic Check Romney please!

  • Ron Paul's Mic Check went well Ron Paul / Jesse Ventura 2012

  • 1:25 – 'Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel.'

  • mic check is fine. You need a message and get focused. you should ask questions like . Where r your alligences when one signs a contract not to raise taxes. That is treason and not taking the pledge to uphold and protect the United States. This is a start.

  • "SIT DOWN!" [against corrupt corporations and crooked bureaucrats.] NO, we will challenge the corrupt and crooked powers that govern us be.

The Constitution is ours to defend and theirs to represent.

No longer will we sit idly by and blindly follow our government and corporations, while they twist the Constitution in the favor of the more wealthy, powerful, and opportunistic.

Let's raise the expectations of our government and corporations.

WE SET THE STANDARDS. NOT THEM.

  • Why is the GOPTP so in favor of 'free speech' UNLESS they disagree with the message?

Bachmann CHOSE to run like a coward rather than wait 'til the Mike Check group finished I'm assuming because she has no real message, talent for addressing those with opposing oppinions OR having a two sided dialoge.

I DON'T think the USA needs a president that runs and hides when hearing something he/she doesn't like.

POTUS Obama was Mike Checked and he handled it like a LEADER!!!

  • Watch Ron Paul's Mic Check response

    /watch?v=7VoMvfOV_zY

  • lol@ idiots in the background chanting USA! USA!

  • it's good to see kids getting involved and caring about their country.

  • Oh my god her face was PRICELESS. xD

  • Thank You!

  • Bunch of idiots who will look back one day and say "Why in the hell did I do that?"

    Occupy jobs you dumb asses.

  • @chummonator Yeah, the Tea Party would never do anything that stupid, would they???? EXCEPT FOR all of those dumbshits disrupting the town hall meetings re: Healthcare. That was probably OK with you and the average Fox News shit-for-brains Glenn Beck worshiping morons.

  • @chromacopy1701 Is that all you got? Really? So basically you are saying that the Occupy Wall Street is the equivilent of the Tea Party. That's about the intelligence level I expected from someone like you.

  • @chummonator I didn't say they were equivalent, moron. The Tea Party is made up of people who either know that their inner fears, insecurities, prejudices and resentments are being exploited by the petrochemical Koch brothers to win GOP votes --- and they don't care--- or they are just dumbshits who don't realize that's what is going on and they buy the whole 'Patriots vs. Socialists' bullshit spread by Fox News. So the movements aren't equal. These kids are way smarter.

  • @chromacopy1701 Ok so resorting to personal name calling is your key to debate? I stopped reading after the word "moron". Grow up. I'm done with this conversation.

  • It's rude to interrupt. Lots of shouting but nothing coherent other than "We are the 99%." The only thing this band of selfish children accomplished was to end the Town Hall early. Way to go. Now get a fucking day job.

  • @Starr9909 Sorry to burst your appearant bubble of GOPTP bliss BUT many of the Mike Check people ARE employed. Many are adults. NONE of the Mike check people are selfish children, they care about ALL Americans rather than just the top 1%. The Mick Check people that are unemployed are searching for jobs while waiting for the GOPTP to make good on their 2010 election promise of JOBS, JOBS, JOBS, OR for them to pass the 'jobs bill' put forth by POTUS Obama.

  • @46619TAB who's Mike?

  • "If you believe in the first amendment of free speech, then you demonstrate it by shutting up." -Karl Rove Geez.

  • Isn't this pretty much the same thing the Tea Party did to members of Congress in 2009? Shouldn't the convener of the Tea Party Caucus in Congress expect that what goes around, comes around? If it was OK for the Tea Party to do it, why isn't it OK for Occupy?

  • @pdquick1 - because you occupiers are working class trailer trash and don't deserve the same rights you fool. This is the Queen of the Republican Party and these brats interrupted her. They need to be thrown into a prison camp for speaking over Bachmann.

  • @runningchance

since you don't like freedom of speech, you should move to a different country. Bachmann is queen of the redneck losers. she has no chance.

  • @pdquick1 I think because the tea party was about reforming America to a point that is closer to the original constitution, where occupy wall street is more from a group that admittedly is made of mostly socialists shouting slogans....

  • Comment removed

  • Respond to this video... I think both political movements are disgusted with the conditionless bailouts of our large investment banks with taxpayer dollars. THAT is really a socialist policy, for the govt. to bail out failed corporations. Now if they had done that while demanding public ownership and profit it would have been a more popular policy. Occupy is really about holding policians accountable to PEOPLE not corporations. btw, the Tea Party is really LIbertarian, a failed ideal.

  • Opposing side raises questions, GOP tard yells "USA! USA!"

  • P P P P PWNED!

  • This is why the movement won't get anywhere. They call themselves peaceful but they continuously make asses of themselves.

  • Hell yes. If you are opposed to this, please write an essay explaining what Citizens United is and why you support it. Half the people yelling "sit down" probably have no idea what The Citizens United ruling was. If you aren't outraged you aren't paying attention. These protesters are America's best hope at restoring democracy.

  • Too funny! Other places allow it to run its course. In SC, those that are pro-establishment and see anything different as "unAmerican or unPatriotic" and thus need to be eliminated and shunned ... History check - this was one of the last bastions of "separate but equal" ... any one speaking out against the establishment (existing order) in SC is truly a brave patriot!

  • Comment removed

  • So apparently the new way to express free speech is to take it away from others. This is why we have no sympathy when the cops beat the shit out of them for being assholes.

  • Those shouting for them to sit down are probably in the 1%. Either that, or they're just plain ignorant.

  • @DavidHebrewVocalDude Yes that's a very enlightened view.

  • @DavidHebrewVocalDude They're part of the 99%. They just support the interests of the 1%. It's funny how these idiots believe in the word of God. Didn't God once say that murder, lying, and stealing are crimes? These idiots should also take a stand against the 1%.

  • Nice to see a Zionist too pwned by the people. Beautiful 6-camera version:

    watch?v=DC8RkVOUOxA

  • It's a shame that the advertisement on my right, a movie trailer for "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn: Part 1", has more views than this video. Millions of people are gonna head out to see this movie this weekend. I have a good idea. Why don't the OWS protesters gather outside movie theaters? That way, more people would be able to see the movement! It actually seems like a good idea!

  • Good Strategy.

  • How about those people trying to quell decent and free speech shouting USA USA? Fascists. The USA belongs to ALL OF US!

  • @Dan5819 I agree. Nothing says irony like trying to squash the first amendment by shouting out the country's name who made it. In this instance, shouting 'USA' is as un-American as any turban clad, box cutter weilding terrorist.

  • Occupy, Tea Party, you're both protesting for the same reason: you believe the government has wronged you. Can't we all come together and just agree that the entire system is broken and needs to be rebuilt from the ground up?

  • OccupyCharleston, you rocked this! CHEERS!

Mic checks should be done all over, all winter long. Let them know we are everywhere, and they cannot insulate themselves from the People.

  • AWESOME. Her teabagger friends took over the health care informational meetings. now, she's getting hers!

  • Solidarity from Occupies all over Texas :)

  • I support OWS, but there are more effective ways to get your point across. How about just waving the OWS flag?? This is quite disrespectful.....and it makes you guys look like spoiled children. If you want to make change on how things are done, you have to start with not infringing on others right to freedom of speech.

  • @melindahopkins: I kind of agree with you, but this is effective because they will put a face with the movement. They need to taste their own medicine. Not to long ago, Michele Bachmann and Eric Canton supported that same behavior from the Tea Party. The only way we can make changes is during election time and voting for people who wants best for the American people.

  • @Mrsonelife I dunno. If either of these people had thought of it, I don't think they would have passed the tactic of mic-checking a question or statement on to their supporters because of fear it could be used on them by an awake public who wanted answers on video (or a record on video of a candidate fleeing or refusing to answer the question...imagine if this had been used on mccain or obummer during the '08 campaign! In fact I've seen on FB people calling for him to get mc'd!

  • @Krauthamster They should Mic check President Obama. He too has been brought and paid for by Wall Street. I'm so sick of this Red Vs. Blue, Democrats Vs. Republicans, Liberal vs. Conservative. I became an "unaffiliated voter" in 2004 because I share views of both Republicans and Democrats. We have more in common than we think.

  • @melindahopkins Yeah. Waving a flag. That always results in real change. No. The righting of this ship has begun. They should have expected us.

  • Where is their message for President Obama?? What a bunch of Hypocrites!

  • Ooo she looks displeased.

  • Gave me goose bumps...Love it! Now this was Good! That's how it has to get done on a even larger scale!!! We are the 99%!!!!!

  • She got pwned, and her followers got stymied. Good on the Occupiers. WE. ARE. THE 99%!

  • Thumbs up if you think we (the OWS movement) should do this to all the corporate candidates ranging from Obama to Romney!

  • @CuriousGeorgeMonkey9 <~~~~~Most deffinitely! I support Obama But more and more I've been learning he's a puppet and the rich are pulling ALL the strings! We ARE the 99%!!!

  • @tboybmx I voted for Obama, but now I realize that he's nothing more than an African-American version of Bush. The two are very much alike. It's time to impeach Obama!

  • @CuriousGeorgeMonkey9

Line them up. I want them all to have a MIC CHECK moment

  • @JacRab25 Absolutely!

  • @CuriousGeorgeMonkey9 THIS IS AWESOME!

  • @cincinatus90 Indeed.

  • @CuriousGeorgeMonkey9 for what reason? to be annoying?

  • @EdMajinLee199999 No, because we want change here in America. We are sick and tired of the super-rich controlling our political system and using corrupt government officials as a means of having their goals met. It's time to quit this.

In short, for what reason? The answer is democracy.

  • @CuriousGeorgeMonkey9 no, democracy has failed all throughout history. Who is "we" by the way? the people "mic checking" political figures for attention? Probably, because capitalism is just fine with me. It is the fact that government is getting involved is where I take issue.

  • So the lesson from Occupy here is, its ok for liberal billionaires to support policies that will make them money, but not conservative billionaires.

  • @CatooftheRepublic Also it's OK that Hollywood that movie actors make as much money as corporations and employ far less people as long as they support the movement. See How it works...

  • what does this video mean?

  • @Yankhadenough - He's just repeating the lies of his masters in the 1%; and if the 1% told the truth, their supporters would turn on them and kill them. Just put up with it for now - these 1%ers have had their day and will be silent soon.

  • @jbartas Ha Ha Ha you are a cocksucker! Name One product or service a corporation has forced you to buy. If you don't like the actions of a certain corporation then don't use their products!! The only Organization forcing people to buy something is the US government!

  • @leftgibson I'm a vegan...yet my tax dollars support the meat, egg & dairy industries through farm subsidies and tax write-offs. I'm also a peace activist, yet my tax dollars support various imperial wars which are run for private profit. I will apparently soon be forced to buy private, for-profit "health insurance" to support a corrupt, insanely expensive and dangerous medical system. The corporations, through their lobbyists, wrote the laws which force me to do these things.

  • @EssentialDissent I don't understand your point, My tax dollars go to pay subsidies to failed solar energy companies and to sure up public sector union pensions under the false premise of "economic stimulus. My point is that the government is forcing citizens to purchase a product under penalty of fine, while the same service is offered free for others. What is your point?

  • I love the occupiers Mic Checks, you get intelligent protest instead of Koch's bussed-in teabaggers yelling "USA" and mocking and heckling disabled and uninsured at the healthcare town halls!

  • @Yankhadenough Oh yeah, the occupy protestors sound so smart... Kind of like the Branch Davidian cult. I hope this movement ends the same way!

  • @leftgibson no, quite the opposite, Occupy is a grassroots movement. Branch Davidian cult had a self-appointed leader and minions that followed him, like the Koch Bros and tea partiers.

  • @Yankhadenough Enough with your Koch Fantasy, this is your stupid response to the REAL TRUTH that George Soros and the unions are the puppet masters of these useful idiots. Give me one legitimate thing that proves that the Koch brothers are behind the Tea Party..THERE ARE NONE!

  • @leftgibson

SO Koch money does *NOT* pay AFP to supply buses to move people for Teaparty events?

The organizers are staff of A$P, but that doesn't matter?

    Paid conventions don't matter?

    Open your eyes.

  • @canard651 So George Soros and the Unions are not giving money to these stupid occupy whatever protests??? BTW, How many of those protestors have the bank account number to that OWS account?? Can any of the protestors go down and withdraw money??? I bet you less than 1% of you occupy assholes have access to that money. Sounds like you just created the same economic system you are protesting against! Ha Ha Ha Stupid Fools!
