  • Hello well ery nice video and i would like to thank the uploader ffor this and also congratulate all those who participated!:)In Greece we are not so developed almost noone plays reenctments we have only 4 teams from Thessalonikh Kavala Katerinh Serres and Athens! We have nevr played large scale reenactmetns and also ww2 only modern warfare!I would like to participate ina eent such as this even it is out of my country!Does anyone an explain me the details?

  • good vid. but its funny at 2#:28 when a van passes down the road.

  • oh man ich wünschte mir ich könnte bei so etwas mal mitmachen ;) schaut echt gut aus ... schöne grüße aus Deutschland

  • wow i saw myself a few times pretty badass!

  • are those live rounds????

  • Blank rounds, same effect without that killing part :).

  • no blanks

  • Well the Germans don't take their hits ether.

  • they never do ;P ,2nd Rangers, FL

  • We are most certainly better at taking hits than you rangers and airborne guys!

  • sry but my answer was directed to the germans down here in florida. Ive watched this you guys take your hits.the germans i deal with is with an age range from 14 to 40 the adults take thier hits...sometimes and the kids just argue or dont take the hit. the high command is trying to do some reforms with thier policies. ill be honest your germans are far better in tactics and general commands in german. mine speak english when they fight. oh well, sooner or later ill be able to go to the bugle :P

  • @MrBubBa13 see ya there, were trying 2 make a push this year, but from florida to the gap is hell, what unit are you in

  • WOW....that's me at 10:15...Funny, I forgot all about this. I was sure bundled up...I look like a different person from the neck down...hahahaha...Those were fun times...thanks for posting this.

  • it looks deam fun!!

    do you sleep outside?

  • at that event i hope not....lol,no at the Gap they have barrracks where the soldiers on both sides sleep but you can at warmer events.

  • kool

  • i think the allies have force feilds cause i onlt got 3 of them to take hits, 20 rounds to get there attetion another 10 to get them to take thier hits ;P

  • Great job taking hits, that's what makes it good.

  • i dont think they get hit with really anytthing they just know when they day and were so when they hear gun shots there gone

  • That is correct.

  • Not necessarily. If you hear them and you're infront of a column, you're probably dead meat. If you're somewhere else you need to see a muzzle flash pointed at you before you take a hit. Of course many reenactors are completely bullet proof and can get shot at point blank without going down. I've met a few!

  • Well its all those John Waynes and Audey Murphys

    Americans sheesh

  • some Limeys showed up on this video, noticed one having trouble with his tommygun when they were fighting in the woods

  • aw man that looks like AMAZING fun!! I have a couple of original German helmets, a zeltbahn and a gas mask cannister, I'd love to get into something like this! It would be even cooler if the re-enactments were done like the mock battles the army do with tactics, referees and lots of ferocity! Keep up the good work...I am moving to Oz at the end of the year so probably won't get the chance to ever do something like this! :-(

  • How many men do you have on each side?

  • Run for cover in the woods you idiots!

  • watch band of brothers bastogne, you will see why

  • Ft. Indiantown Gap, Pa. usually in the last week in January

  • where do you do that? do u actually got to the ardennes or is that in canada or america sumwer??

  • cool, how do people kno when they are hit in these reenactments?

  • they are scheduled to be killed or wounded at certain points of the reenactment. From there they can make the way they die look however they want it to be. :)

  • Interesting, I did a project on this battle in school so this gave me some interesting ideas =D. Thanks

  • Not in these ones. Only public "battles" are scripted.

  • in civil war reenacting we use color paper cartriges white=keep fighting yellow=wounded red=killed
