  • When i was around 10, i dreamed about being the youngest person to climb Everest. It seemed easy..... get an expedition and do it before i turn 17. Then that fucking Jordan Romero came along. LOL.

  • I don't know, this looks strangely picture postcard-like. No sense of scale. That valley at 0:16 looks like you could walk there in two hours.

  • My name is Superman, and I have flown over Mount Everest many times. You can see me on Thursday's afternoon having lunch with a bucket of KFC's chicken.

  • Windy then.

  • Yo fuck being up there, people who climb that shit are mental

  • @12Oc7ock well you can stay in your basement. Have a nice day

  • The greatest view in the world.

  • Hard to imagine the sea is 5½ miles straight down... that's almost incomprehensible

  • 22 dudes are too scared of heights...... Nice video really

  • I know this sounds crazy but I've always wanted to skydive on to the summit. Just a dream of mine please don't crap on it trolls.

  • Make sure you don't fall :-\ did you put a sign up or a flag?

  • you shoulda brought a parashute so when ur done u just fall and land with a parachute

  • surprised you didn't see Jesus in the bathroom or something

  • wow. excelent!!!!!

  • Congrats!!!!!! one day I will push the summit too, I hope:P

  • how do you not get blown off of the mountain XD but thats just amazing

  • Simply WOW!

  • bit higher u will meet God ;)

  • How long do the guys stay at the summit? Few minutes maybe?

  • @ianrkav It depends some people will stay for a few minutes if a storm is apporaching or they are freezing there ass off, others will stay for 45 minutes if the weather is good enough. If you are using oxygen it all depends on how much you have used and if you have none supplimental oxygen you have a greater chance of frost bite, hape or hace so you would spend less time then to.

  • @b4igetu So generally no more than an hour maybe? Ok thanks for that:-)

  • I can see my home from there..

  • roof of the world

  • did anyone die ?

  • thank you

  • Can you imagine how much a climber would yearn for a wing suit on the summit if they couldn't be fucked climbing back down.

  • best view ive ever seen my god

  • I took a field trip up there in 1st grade.

  • @bluemystic7502 I took my field trip up there in kindergarten

  • Thanks for this. now I can cross this off my list of things to conquer.... easy peezy

  • very nice

  • Hopefully I am going to go to base camp with cadets.

  • and i jizz in my pants!

  • Incredible - must feel amazing to be up there!

  • omg, DUDE, YOU'VE CATCHED REALLY NICE WEATHER!!!

  • juanito oiarzabal

  • Now jump!!

  • incredible

  • the top of the world!pease out!

  • if only you could snowboard on that...

  • My hat goes off to you! Well done indeed. Thanks for letting people like myself share the views that you experienced. It must have been a life changing experience for you I'm sure!

  • Wow! Seeing the view on camera is amazing but some day I'll see it from the mountain! Then it will be beautiful!

  • paradiseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • Absolute great!!!

  • UAU QUE CHIDO

  • SubhannaLLAH : beautiful Panorama

  • the world has so much to offer!

  • I'd like to see the summit at night! The stars must look amazing.

  • @Gearz86 u cant do it at night for 2 reasons..... oxygen goes lower... and weather gets more harsh .. tehres a reason why people start the climb from camp 4 to summit at 11

  • @AlexandrusMegus fake? lolwut?

  • @AlexandrusMegus shut the fuck up kid..

  • fake and gay

  • @AlexandrusMegus Sad little bastard - do you actually STILL think that shit is even funny? lol

  • @AlexandrusMegus your a douchbag

  • @crossmax999 why thank you sir. but its still fake and gay.

  • Amazing! A view I hope to see someday! Thanks for posting.

  • I think you will find many people have overcome everest. However I understand how you feel. But your so thick you will never be president of your own back yard

  • what do you know about Native culture, religion and way of life.

You people have become materialistic and egoistic in nature. You have forgotten about the mother earth and nature. Hope mother nature will unleash all her force to destroy the western world which have ruin the earth. that will be a savior for the native of the world.

As for the native all around the world, we have to UniteToFight this terrible disease called globalization and modernization.

  • @diliprai its ironic that you want modernization to stop and are spreading your messege through possibly the biggest icon of modernization there is.....the internet! I also happen to like western world culture in general, granted its gone downhill in recent times but its a lot better than many alternatives.

  • What is the wind condition up there ?? what are wind speeds.???

  • I'm impressed the camera batteries worked....my cell phone battery goes from full to dead if I leave it in the car for two hours in the winter...

  • Am i mistaken? i have a funny idea that this is uncut video from a 80s ascent by one of the big boys of mountaineering? i can see that mountaineer in my head from another video or book? I dont think its the persn that posted the vid this is around or just after the days of reinhold messner. if i am right i hope the guy posting this is not taking the credit, i will check fully and get back...........

  • Comment removed

  • No need to be so aggresive, "ashole", I only made an observation saying "iwas sure i had seen it before" and YT is hardly the fountain of honesty, is it? If you look at my post, you will see i was thinking out loud, in the hope of a reply that would clear it up for me, NOT RIDICULE ME! You get a life, and realise that you tube is for expressing yourself in a NON threatening fashion!............THIS I DID!

  • No one can read your mind......Sorry I called you an asshole....but after you "checked fully"...why didn't you come back and remove your negative thoughts about this man?

    Seems a fair question.

  • After looking at your profile, i notice that you have no interest in mountaineering whatsoever. I imagine you must be one of those people that just wanna have an argument, and will fight to the death to win, when you do not have any knowledge of what your argument is! I have studied Everest and mountaineering all my life, and have climbed with the international school of mountaineering with the best Tomas Hunt (Grandson of Sir John Hunt), so shut your noise, and go back to your guitar videos.

  • If i profess to be a guitar expert i will get back to you, (even though i am shit at it after 30 yrs of playing) But i wont argue for the sake of it, its clear now why i love meeting people in the mountains, they are alot more mature than folk like you.

  • everestlad: Look..I removed my comment.....as it WAS rude...

That''s as good as it's ever gonna get.

When I see YOUR apology to the guy who summited Everest....then had his veracity caled into question......then I'll believe in YOUR "maturity".

    Hasta.

  • Well thank you for your apology. I apologise for nothing. The reason being, i At NO point EVER slagged the guy off, or said he was a liar, i simply commented that the video was seen before and that it was clear in my recollection. I also asked if i could be informed on my thoughts? Your engagement in this matter intrigues me, Was he your mate? or you just on the old bevy?

  • If you look at my fist post just below, I said "Chomolunngma, the mother goddess at her best!" Who looks a wee bit silly now! lol

  • My tribe (Kirat) is one of the oldest group in the world. Kirat also find references in RigVeda ~the oldest text dating back some 2000BCE--1800BCE where Kiratas fought the Aryan(Caucasoid) people. It's only after the fall of Hindu government that natives Kirat have been coming into limelight.

plz respect my ancestors and Kirateswor(lord od Kiratas) sacred place(Everest). You can learn more about Kirat tribe here at this video --> "sakela~the greatest festival of kirat people"

    thank you

  • @diliprai does your tribe have internet in whatever rural part of nepal your in?

  • Well i dont know that you do need to read my mind, if you look at the beginning i ASK IF I AM mistaken, leaving it open to constructive comments on my view without being negative until a definitive answer could be drawn, i cant see fairer than that.

  • Comment removed

  • Yes, you are mistaken...See his other video "message from the summit".

  • Chomolungma, the mother goddess at her best!

  • this is absolutely amazing!

i was shaking at my knees thinking of being up there, yet wanting to be there so badly!

    thanks for posting this!

  • Thank you for posting and sharing with poeple that probably will never be able to do something so wonderful!

  • the heaven

  • i dunno, that ridge towards the end looks a little higher...

  • aint that beautiful?????

  • awesome

  • did you come up the lhotse face or did you go up from south col.?

  • The most amazing sight a man can see on this planet. I, too, hope to experience it one day. I would DIE t conquer this mountain... for it is more than just a mountain. Sagarmāthā is the incarnate spirit of the elements, and the supreme avatar and sigil of the power of Earth. It is beautiful beyond comprehension...

  • There is an inherent beauty and power in conquering a mountain by reaching its summit on foot.

  • just no

  • Don't think anyone has ever conquered a mountain! I give you Warren Harding:

"As I hammered in the last bolt and staggered over the rim, it was not at all clear to me who was the conqueror and who was the conquered. I do recall that El Cap seemed to be in much better condition than I was."

Mountains occasionally let us have our little moment in our little lives. They've been here much longer than us and will remain long after we individuals are forgotten. Sorry to go all hippy on you!

  • Yeah yeah, in the real world we call it Mount Everest!

  • Congratulations!! See like a nice day to climb the top of the world!!

  • is that the icefall at 0:17? it looks like a path strate up the mountain?

  • my highest mountain was 2500 meters

  • Now, you just have to slide down the mountain =D

  • Niewiarygodne, gratulację :)

  • you obviously missed the mcdonalds up there then

  • truly amazing

  • in fact Mount Everest isnt the most dangerous mountain in the world :O

  • annapurna and k2

  • K2 is i think..

  • @theSCREAMingDEAD You're right. K2's the most dangerous. Compared to K2, Everest is relatively easy.

  • wow

  • fantastic

  • I guess it was too coldfor shouting: I'm the king of the world!

  • TOP OF THE WORLD!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • What a view...

    Well done

  • wow , you guys had perfect weather

  • You went from summit to camp 1 in one day? What camp did you stay at before the summit push? 4?

  • increible...

  • Totally surreal.

  • stupid wind

  • the guy in the yellow suit is getting pissed at this guy for not hurrying the f**k up!!!

  • RIP Sir Ed...U fuckin Legend

  • Whoa that's high up! It must be extremely hard to breathe up there. There's no way I could possibly go all the way up there lol.

  • messner , 1975 ? back when the dinosaurs roamed , he climbed everest on his own with no oxygen .

    badass legend !

  • everest is cool , but its client / climbers suck !

  • thats awsome

  • Damn thats just amazing, Big up man

  • What a great guy, climbed all the way to the Summit of Everest just to take this vid for us.

  • or the fact that he wanted to take a vid as a memory, so he didnt have to walk up the mountain again.

He was just nice enough to show it to us.

  • haaamer

  • damn man that mountain is beast.

  • Read 'Into Thin Air' - If you like even remotely climbing/hiking, its an amazing book

  • have you read the book peak

  • the higest peak iv climbed was mon blanc in france it is 4810m. compare to everes looks like a litlle hill

  • where are you from? How much does it / did it cost you to climb Mon Blanc... from what I've read, it can easily cost up to £30,000 - to climb everest. It's always been a dream, but damn I can'f afford this??? I have climbed Elbrus, but that wasnt exactly a £30,000 expedition!!!

  • 1000 vertical feet take about 3 hours to climb so 30 minutes would only be around 167 feet

  • lol after spending 30 minuntes???? how long does it take to climb? I would have liked to have spent at least 1-2 hours lol, perhaps have a picknick.. nah im just joking haha but still... 30 mins...

  • i thought the summit would be much pointier

  • Words can not express!

    Thank you for sharing!

  • omg did anyone die

  • i relly want to climb it but my freinds r scared for mr if i do it

  • i like it but i still wana climb mt. E

  • Amazing and Beautiful!

  • thats sick major props i want to climb it in the future im only 14

  • woa above the clouds

  • dude, how did u find the balance to film that... your only on the highest part of the world!

  • wow great! not every day so clean sky on the top :)

  • awesome

  • top of the world.... thats insane!

  • imagine sky diving off there!....... You would probably end up 1000 miles away!

  • Really amazing!!!! Great!!!

  • This is amazing! Thank you for sharing.

  • pretty cool but you have to be at least 70,000 feet to see the earths curvature

  • I'm afraid you are wrong. The curvature is clearly visible from the summit looking east. Baz

  • You are wrong. The earths curvature is obvious to the naked eye when in your average passenger jet that flies between 30,000 and 40,000 feet. Everytime I fly across the atlantic ocean to the States I can always clearly see the curvature of the earth.

So if I and others can see it in a plane, then it is obvious you would able to see it at the summit of mount Everest.

  • perhaps not mate as when you fly at 40 000 feet you look at the ocean at sea level and the vertical prominence is just that - 40 000 feet so you can see it. on Mt everest you're looking at other 25 000 foot mountains :)

  • i so want to do that.. how many months did you train for?

il do it and take a step ladder so i can stand a little bit higher than everyone else :) :P

  • Months? years? hehe begin running marathons or something like that ;)

  • the mountain grows by three inches every year, therefore every time somebody reaches the top a new record is broken... just an interesting fact :)

  • amazing footage man, i myself am planning to climb everest. what company did you climb with? there's just too many to choose from!

  • thanks, now i don't have to go there

  • That's an amazing video my friend. Thank you for sharing your experience.

  • that is some wicked looking country, sweet film!

  • Bullshit.

  • Go there and do it better

  • Thats where i wanna be someday.

  • uuuuunbeliveble, im insanly jelous

  • OH MY GOD!!!! You were up Mt. Everest?! What was it like???? did you get anemia or altitude sickness???? did anyone die??????????? we just finished studdying Mt. Everest in my science class.

  • In your dreams...
